Pinned fan club list

What if in Sugarcube Corner, there was a pinned topic of all the fan clubs? But rather than a moderator or admin searching for all the latest fan clubs and posting the links, either users could add new ones, or there could be an editable list that anyone could add a new club to.

 

Edit: Thank you, @Banul Ideally, 'twouldn't be a pinned topic - there really should be a Fan Club section of Sugarcube Corner. It would suit all our needs, and it wouldn't be yet another pinned topic in the Corner!

I've asked twice and even created a list. But I've never got an answer.

I brought this up with  moderator in private  couple of weeks back as well - fan clubs are a great way to, not only have a great time discussing your best pony, but to make new friends who have similar interests. My experience in the Rarity fan club has been nothing short of spectacular - and I think that if the camaraderie that we have in there could spread to the other fan clubs, than the whole site would be a bit more harmonious. 

 

Of course, the problem is that there's a LOT of pinned topics in Sugarcube Corner at the moment. I can't think of a way around that, but the fan club hub getting pinned would provide easier access to the fan clubs for newer members who aren't used to the way this site works just yet - and, as I stated earlier, fan clubs are a great way to make new friends on top of being something that's easy to enjoy

What about a separate section of the forums? I used to frequent Bioware's Mass Effect forums, and the had an entire section for talking about the characters in which all the fan club based threads were located.

That would be quite interesting! In fact, the fan club section should totally be a sub-category of Sugarcube Corner! I'd like that.

Since this suggestion has been implemented, I will go ahead and lock this topic.
 
There is now a Fan Clubs subsection within Sugarcube Corner. This announcement goes into more detail about it.
 
Additionally, there is a pinned topic within the Fan Club subsection that moderators and administrators keep up to date. It serves as an index of all fan clubs. If your fan club is not in that list, feel free to PM me and I will gladly add it for you.
