music Favorite Christian bands!

This here is for all us Christians on here, there are many "Favorite rock bands" or "Metal bands" threads on here, discussing both Christian and Secular bands, but I thought it would be nice to discuss our favorite Chrsitian or ex Christian bands and not have it mixed in with Secular music (not that Secular music is all bad, a lot of my favorites are Secular but still)

Good choices Reaps, I wasn't too surprised when I found out Creed and Collective Soul are Christian bands, as it is pretty obvious and clear in their lyrics

 

I also feel that Live may be Christian too

Yeah it is pretty obvious with their song "Heaven" ("I don't need no proof that God exists, I look to my daughter and I believe") yeah I believe Bono is Catholic and not sure about the rest of the band, I also forgot to add Brian "Head" Welch, and Alice Cooper...

I don't really like Christian bands or listen to them, but I used to listen to Devil Wears Prada a lot who after the fact I realized were a Christian Hardcore band. Kind of ironic since their sound is the devil's music ;P

I love almost every Christian band. Here is my list of them and my favorite song from them if I have one.

Skillet (mostly for Monster)

Newsboys (specifically for God's Not Dead)

MercyMe (for two specific songs)

Within Temptation

 

I'm sure there's others that I don't actually know are Christian bands because half the Christian bands out there don't actually sing Christian stuff they are just identified by the fact that the members are openly Christian.

 

Lyrics are inconsequential to me so I barely listen to them. I'm sure I've heard many Christian bands over the years without realizing that they were one simply for that reason.
