Beards, anyone have one, what do you think of them?

So back in August I grew full beard so I could do a Snake/Big Boss cosplay and I ended up really liking the way it felt and looked so I have keeped it since. I did shave it off once but I hated how cold my face felt with out it. So anyone else rocking a beard or for the girls here, what do you think of them?

I have facial hair, but I've never let it grow too far out. Some dudes can rock the big beard look really well, but I prefer mine to be pretty short, so I keep it closely shaven.

I've been thinking about growing a goatee for a while. But right now I just have random  facial hair where it usually grows.

I've not been able to grow a beard yet so I keep my face clean. I'd probably like to have one at some point in the future though.

 

I'm a Red Sox fan, so I've seen my fair share of beards.

I too have let it grow for a costume! Halloween the last two years for my pirate costume.

The sleeves are a bit long on me since I'm only 5'5", I could probably get someone to shorten them for me..."hey mom?"

The long hair is fake, but the beard is real! haha

This is what it is right now, like, 2 minutes ago. This is the length I like since it isn't prickly or scraggly, but is soft and unobtrusive.

I've been sporting a Bale/Dark Knight Rises for a while now, trimmed it the other day as I looked fairly terrible. I haven't properly shaved it off for around 2 years, beforehand I was always cleanly shaven (as dictated by my girlfriends).

Beards are amazing. Every man who can pull off a full beard should do so.

A beard wouldn't suit me, sadly. A goatee is all I have and I'm extremely fond of it now. Can't imagine myself without it anymore and it brings me a strange sense of comfort. Throughout the day I play with it a little. This goatee... it completes me.

I have a pretty light beard. When I was pre-pubescent I was fascinated by the concept of beards and wanted a huge viking-esque one, although when the time came and I was able to grow one, I discovered that it looked like shit on me so I shaved it all off. Huge respect to anyone who can successfully pull off that look though, if done right it looks totally badass.

I do not have a beard, but I also don't know many girls that do. 

Beards are ok, I guess.  Guys typically look better with at least some facial hair, not always though.  Depends on the person.  I don't really like the super long beards or mustaches.  

My favorite though is rubbing my face on stubbly face though.  So scratchy and facey.

I had to grow a beard last fall for a production of Amahl and the Night Visitors I was in. I didn't like it, it was scratchy and uncomfortable. However, people said I looked good with it, and it definitely kept my face warm and it was convenient to not have to shave all the time.

The itchyness is very annoying at first, but if you stick with it, it will go away.
