It seemed to be a problem with the OS, since it said something about installing an operating sytsemnto the hard drive. I did some diagnostics, the Memory test was good, but the HDD test was ended abruptly. Something about a SMART test and Long DST weren't installed.
Took it out for repair. They attempted to reinstall the OS and inform us when done.
After reinstalling, it still has the same problem. Apparently, it's not
The title explains the obvious bit. Just saw new EqG trailer. Noticed the fluid animation in the Equestria part, one of DHX's best by far. More plot, the crown is apparently the Element of Magic, not just a generic McGuffin, and it was indeed Sunset Shimmer who stole it. The Human world part, to be reffered to as Part Girls, was... different somehow. It felt rather stiff, but nothing too distracting. Spike can talk, yay! Also, that quadrupedal bit cracked me up. Love those (not so) subtle bits.
I was browsing through my video project resource files to see how much I can delete to save harddisk space. When I came upon After Effects project files, I thought about how well it manages to rediscover all connected files even after a renaming extravaganza and how impressed I was by that.
But I wanted to see in more detail how file names and paths were saved in those files. So I opened one project file from one of my Twilight Sparkle videos in a hex editor, and this is what I saw:

This trailer is mixed.
The beginning shows something that looked interesting and good. The chase scene with Twilight and Sunset Shimmer is very intriguing and action-packed, yet suspenseful.
The moments Twilight behaves in the alternate dimension (running on all fours) is funny and shows how she hadn't adopted to the dimension.

So my dad died yesterday. He was on the other side of the planet, and the end came very suddenly.

It was the best I could get with my current financial situation and choices, but it has a 2.9Ghz Dual Core CPU, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, and 23" full 1080p HD screen, so I should be able to get some good use out of it.

Well I got back from the AGL event. Our fourth player didn't show up so we had to find a random guy or we would've got disqualified. The guy was pretty bad and pulled the team down sadly. We played six games and only won one. It was really disappointing.
I feel we could have done better but three of us didn't have headsets. I also met another Brony there that was competing. Didn't talk to him much.

Anyway, I started my epic space journey with @~Chaotic Discord~ and @Lady Rarity Pony as my faithful crew members.
To add more random funniness, and to simulate some sort of voting among the crew, I rolled dice to make certain decisions. As such, I rolled a 7 and began the game by upgrading my sensors, which is actually not a bad idea. Advanced sensors are pretty useful.
