Love the desktop! My roomie just installed that OS as well recently and he's been trying to convert me. It's gonna get real weird if you also tell me that you love Iron Maiden and Yes and Rush. And that you bridge the gap between metal and prog rock with bands like Them Crooked Vultures. THEN we might just be musical twins separated at birth. WOOOOOAAAAAAHHHOHOHOHOHHHHH! Hold your horses,don't chuck the prestige because you're not using it right. I'm a fan of Schecters too, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. For each instrument, a purpose. The Prestige is a lead guitar meant for clean licks up high on the neck, hence the thin-ness. The opposite is true for one of my guitars: Fender Strat American 50th special. The neck is about as thick as an acoustic guitar because it is meant to be a rhythm guitar with a crunchy sound that you can slam around on. My point? Hold onto it, with some practice, you might need it.

Alright you had to allude to fish tacos and now I'm all hungry! I'm going to have to have something hot and seafood for dinner because of this thread and I think I'm going to make a baked poblano tilapia with some cholua soaked spanish rice.

There are like 100 levels between taco bell volcano sauce and red robin jalapeno burgers and some authentic thai curry. Also Wing Stop is terrible and I think they put antifreeze on their atomic wings because to me they just taste like tingling. Eat some authentic spicy foods like real Mexican or some Iranian food (WHOOOOEEEE HOT!) or some good Portuguese (I grew up on this) authentic Indian and Thai, some Chinese is super hot. Stay away from corporate restaurant hot stuff, all it does is give you the runs!

Someone with a Hetalia avatar is a wuss WHO KNEW!? Of course I'm just horsin' around with ya, but it sounds like you like regular foods not spicy ones. Also I love Hetalia.

I'm assuming you've heard their newer album? One of the best metal albums of last year by far. Alvestam has a throat of adamantium damn.

Love it. I tend to put hot sauce on most things. There is a variety of sriracha or tabasco for almost any situation. Pretty regularly when I go to a Thai place or an authentic Chinese place my server warns me about how hot the curry is or when I order something like Jom Bong because they see a pale dude and think I'm gonna die. I tend to order the hottest stuff and am often doubted by the staff. Even at regular wing places. I must look like a total pansy or something.

If you don't like growly vocals (GRAAAAAAH GROOOOOH GRUUUUUH) or overly splatty, dipthongy screaming (BWAAAAAH BWAAAYOOOOWAYAAAAAAH), because I'm sure you've heard both and that's what's turning you off.... Try bands like Isis or Mastadon who, in my opinion, are good singers. I've noticed a couple metal bands lately starting to sing like TypeONegative- an industrial/gothic band and it gives a cool creepy vibe while still pleasing the ear. Can't think of an example off the top of my head. OR! Go for something left field wacky like these guys: Finnish folk metal makes me grin like an idiot.

What if someone has watched all the "established" good animes? I dunno about the OP, but my problem is I can't find any good new stuff.

Angel Beats was cool for the first few episodes and quickly just got dumb. I liked the premise, liked a couple characters, but then the whole thing just went into "are we there yet, I'm bored," territory that some anime serials tend to do. Clannad bored me to tears. The rest of what you said I totally agree with and I've been looking for any kind of new anime to get into but it all looks so dumb, boring or both.

I dunno I thought people liked DBZ. Lots of memes come from it and lots of macros are made from screencaps. I actually like DBZ and I think the abridged version is hilarious. But for real I would love to watch a whole season of DBZ smashed together like a movie without the 10 min of LAST TIME and the 10 min of NEXT TIME. Edit it like a normal person and I'd never watch anything but DBZ and MLP.

It is pretty amusing to see how many "unpopular" opinions are actually pretty common. We are living in an age where commonality has nothing to do with popularity. 75% of the public could hate something or someone and they can still be hugely popular. It's so weird. Here's mine: I do not like Zooey Deschanel nor Jimmy Fallon. I complain about both of them. To the point that I have been told to shut up. Multiple times.

Dude. There isn't some arcane Council of Female Elders that decide girl policy for all women. You're different, right? So is everyone else! Everyone is an individual, has their own preferences and decides for themselves who they like and about 9 times out of 10 it has to do with personality. If you are really into someone just for looks, that's pretty shallow, but if you like someone for who they are you find irresistible things about them that you never would have noticed at a glance. So, get to know some people and you'll find one or two who really like you. I know a guy who is only a little taller than you that (and don't you dare emulate him) bounces between women who take care of his lazy ass because he manipulates them. What's my point? This guy knows he's shorter than average yet he has the confidence to seeming pull whichever woman he's interested in at the moment. Being short doesn't even factor in. To finish this off: please, please, please talk to someone close to you like a family member if you are really having suicidal thoughts. There are free resources out there as well that you can utilize. Even if you feel like life sucks right now there are way more opportunities for a guy who is young and alive than for one who isn't.

Call me crazy but I love the weather you guys have in the UK. Especially in the North. I'm weird though. I went to Montana one year for spring break. I guess people are supposed to go to Mexico or something but I went camping in the cold.
