Well you can go and tell that somebody, quite seriously and honestly, that he's an idiot.
I know better than most, that for the greater part of this past year, you've been subjected to enough thankless work, complaint management, report stacks, accusations of surreptitious activity and personal bias, unpopular and difficult decision making, arbitration frustrations, and general diplomacy struggles to cause even the most even-tempered of individuals to completely and utterly forfeit their mental well-being. Yet, throughout every complication, drawback, or stumbling block we've run into over the year, never once have I seen you develop a proclivity for callous behaviour or personal bitterness; you've always managed to keep the personal separate from the professional, which is more than can be said for most - i'm sure if the reverse were the case, things never would have progressed as steadily as they have.
Call me mawkish, but If this past year is anything to go by, I can say with confidence that either you've mastered the art of appearing stoic in public, or that spiteful, ill-disposed Zoop you speak of has long disappeared, 'cause he sure as hell isn't here now.
