What made you sad/ angry/ negative emotion today?
Fluttershutter replied to twiia's topic in General Discussion
Reading through this conversation I'm sorry for you both. With me it's my mom and stepfather and my sister and her husband. My mom is too stubborn to divorce and at their age and with my stepfather's health she's frankly just waiting it out. They seem to me like strangers living in the same house. My sister, I'm sorry, is an idiot who takes after her father way too much. She married this guy. Now they have kids and she has no means of support. My grandparents honestly was the only idea I have of a good relationship. -
I started reading this. Old school sword and sorcery. I've read the Conan and the Kull stories. Robert E Howard was a really prolific author who died at 30!

general Have you tried online dating?
Fluttershutter replied to Muffinnz's topic in General Discussion
"Insurmoutable trauma" is how I would define the whole phenomenon of dating in general and most of romantic relationships. It's crazy how everybody does it. Those biological drives are just insane. -

The ending is that all but Susan are in the ultimate Narnia, right? -

I've read them a couple of times. Yeah, The Horse and His Boy is tangential and you don't really have to read it at all but it's an okay read. The whole thing's a Christian allegory so it ends with an apocalypse. It's a weird ending but still a great series. -
What's something great you can only get in Australia? (Not vegemite! )
-
Books. It's usually books. Why online? Is it hard to get in Australia?

health How are you with getting your blood drawn?
Fluttershutter replied to ThePoniMan's topic in General Discussion
I don't like it, obviously, but it doesn't bother me. But also, sometimes they have trouble finding my veins, which is a real pain. That's Draculaura. -
That's more like it but buying cars with cash would probably be a red flag. That's the idea. Major red flag and that's not even enough to buy a casino. It's a theoretical scenario. There must be a lot of money laying around forgotten somewhere in the world. I'd buy as much as I could for cash, obviously. Food I love, books, and electronics. Eat out a lot more. I hope I could get a lot of home repairs done for cash. And I'd put it randomly into the bank a few hundred at a time at random times. If the government thinks it's from drug deals let em. That's not enough to bother with. Somebody in the other thread said "Get a job as a waiter. Every day I'd have a great tip day." That's not a bad idea but being a waiter doesn't seem worth $750,000 to me.

food What was the last food you ate?
Fluttershutter replied to ManaMinori's topic in General Discussion
What are peanut rings? If you eat them I guess they count. -
The point is to assume you're keeping it. Now how are you going to use it?

Wednesday and Enid cereal. Neither is great. Enid is okay. It's called confetti cake. It's basically just sweet. Wednesday is called cookies and creme. It's chocolatey but has a burned popcorn flavor. -
I saw this somewhere else. You find a suitcase with $750,000 in a ditch. You can tell it's been there for more than a year and you're confident nobody knows it was there. What do you do? Keeping in mind that the government persecutes you if you have money they don't want you to have.

Fluttershutter replied to Snoopy Fan's topic in General Discussion
I mean it's always after midnight where you are. Except when it's exactly midnight. -

Doesn't it depress you to know that you have to work for your whole life? -

Between when the sun sets and when it rises. Especially when all the daywalkers are asleep. Like I say when I watch Gremlins, it's technically ALWAYS after midnight.
