  1. Was I the only one who thought "Generosity" was similar to the Phil Collins songs from Tarzan?

    1. Ribbonfree

      Ribbonfree

      Half the songs from that movie were his.

  2. The message here isn't to hate Hasbro. The comic conveys that we forgive them for the C&D, but that there is also a hypocrisy since Hasbro will go out of its way to shut down harmless parodies but won't take down explicit/pornographic content (which also count as parodies). Explicit content makes Bronies and MLP:FiM look bad as a whole. It also "cripples" friendships because it gives such a bad look for Bronies that their friends often abandon them because of the reputation. Then if explicit content got MLP shut down we, as the over-active fandom we are, will search the ends of the earth to punish the makers of the explicit content. (the last bit was more of an exaggeration though)
  3. Short Hand-Drawn parody based off of a scene from Batman: Under the Red Hood
  4. Not all compressions are nuggets, meaning that just because sentences are few that doesnt mean that they are any less relevant.I have this contention with far too many people.
  5. I can agree it can be abused. As for the less comment prediction I already get comments as scarcely as it is. (I've addressed this issue multiple times to little recognition)
  6. As far as I can see Hasbro is in its legal right. (You can't really refute it on any fair use grounds because they used SOOO much from the show. And not just characters) This sucks, like MAJORLY. Jan was my favorite, and now I'm going to have to tell my sister the bad news once she comes home from her trip out of state.
  7. The odd thing about Maud Pie the character is that at first she seems so bored with everything leading me to believe that she was apathetic. But she later explains that she doesn't express herself the same as Pinkie which leads me to believe that she does feel something for most things, just not as overtly This is where the mystery kicks in for upon several re-watches I've been tasking myself with figuring out what she was feeling each time she said something.
  8. This coming from the episode that contains Slave-driven-Rarity, Spiked collars, and a single spanking.Yep, nothing to imply here...
  9. Hmm, it appears Mules exist in FiM based on Rarity's dialogue. If this is true then that suggests that Ponies can breed with Donkeys. Quite the predicament but I'd love to see a race episode about mixed offspring

      Well we've seen bat-ponies. I don't doubt Dragon-Ponies will look awesome.

      @Makusu

      No!

      It's not really bestial, more like cross breeding/interspersed since they're all intelligent.

      Like Mass Effect romances for example.

  10. "Make the noises all you want, but move when you make them!" -Diamond Dog (A Dog and Pony Show)
  11. These replies remind me of how much I love Bronies. There's some really good ones in here.
  12. Twilight for Solutions Applejack for Wisdom Rainbow for Moral Support Flutters for overall Care/Comfort Pinkie for Cheer/Glee Rarity for...eh..her Generosity? Or just the idea that you have a well-known pretty-girl to talk to.
  13. This isn't exactly a forum game per say but still a little something fun to do here. We have 4 seasons worth of episode dialogue that we can pull from so I wanna see what you come up with. Basically post a quote from a MLP: FiM episode that can be funny when taken out of context. This can relate to any number of subtle "suggestions" that would be funny to imply from based on the dialogue. Hopefully this will stay PG-13 since the subjects wont be too explicit. I'll start: "Spike, I'm worried about you. You're usually not so...grabby!" -Twilight Sparkle (Secret of my Excess)
  14. Big Mac and Maud Pie would make the strongest babies.

      @Orangejack: even if they were, it would be such a distant connection that there would be no problem at all.

      Possibly 7th cousins according to Joshscorcher

    4. Enemy Stand

      Enemy Stand

      @SolarFox

      I suppose that's true.

  15. I'm hearing from some people that you can map keys on this game Is this true and if so how do you do it? Being a righty it's getting annoying that I have to punch with my left hand and move with the right.
  16. Remember children's: you can still complain about something even when you tolerate it. Like family for instance.

  17. Maybe there just aren't any big-name developers that want to make and support it.
  18. What you said here just reminds me of Pirates of the Caribbean where Captain Barbossa is all like: "The code? They're more like guidelines."
  19. First kiss? Crappy: Awkward, inexperienced, unsure of how to do it. You get better as you go though so don't fret
  20. The bigger question is: how is there no crappy handheld game? Most "little girl's" shows have at least 1 in their lifespan. Or we'd get something similar to the MLP game on the Hub Website where you make your own pony and level up by learning about friendship (which is basically playing mini-games)
  21. I'm real excited for this but I don't think I'll ever learn the controls for the specials. I mean I know how they work but hitting all the directions on a keyboard is just not the same as using a D-pad or Joystick. No natural feeling of rotation you know?
  22. Fighting is Magic: Tribute Edition...So is it like a Hunger Games edition or what?

  23. This thread This mutha f***in thread right here TIS WHAT I EXPLAIN TO THE MASSES!! But the masses don't listen.
  24. The term Brony itself is very ambiguous and has no other definite meaning aside from: "A fan of MLP: FiM." Even with our Mantra it doesn't mean a group is going to follow it. (Similar to Christians and the bible) Think of the term Brony as how you'd think of the term "American." Everyone has their different interpretation of what an American is but no description is definite and there is not 1 type of American. Every American is different and follows different ideas, just as any Brony is and does. The title doesn't make the fan, nor does the fan make the title. The best we can do as part of this community is to be the better example, be the better percent, be the better fan. Be the better Brony.
  25. If this thread was a status, I'd Brohoof it. Just sayin
