I work as an assistant chef in staff restaurants. It is hard work most of the time, but the pay is decent and I am more than happy doing my job.

*After taking a long hot shower and using a towel to dry himself up thoroughly, the door of the bathroom opened with warm steam coming out as he walked out and closed the door behind him with his magic. He felt utterly relaxed and let a deep and content sigh as he finally lied on his back on the massive ornate looking bed with royal purple and golden colored sheets on the opposite side of the room, before turning his head to his left and began to use his magic again to start looking through different books that were neatly placed in correct alphabetical order on the nearby wooden shelf* *He pulled the books out of the shelf one by one in a linear order as he searched for a suitable one that he could read before going to sleep. Few moments later, he came across a book that he didn't expected to find in the gryphon lands and raised his eyebrow in surprise as he scanned the cover of the book with small chuckle. It was the 13th edition of the Daring Do and the enslavers of the nether realms, a book that he in fact hasn't been able to read back home due to being very busy with his work that left little time for reading. Now however it seemed that he had the chance to finally do so, even though he knew he wouldn't be able to read it entirely, but could always buy it for himself once he'd get back home* Hehe... It appears that even the gryphons across the sea know the adventures of the Daring Do... This will do nicely! *He thought in his mind as got up from his back and sat down next to the book, before he flipped the first page of the book open with his magic and began reading it eagerly*

*He watched as the others left the ballroom for their guest quarters one by one without much fuss, before turning around towards the large window at the end of the room and walked over to it once again to have a quick view to the outside, as he finished the contents of his crystal glass with small gentle sips and laid to the nearby table with his magic. As he watched through the window, he could see the sun already setting in the horizon behind the ocean that separated the gryphon lands from the equestria in the west. Looking down a bit, he saw the royal docks of the gryphon empire and it's magnificent ships with golden decorations that glimmered under the setting sun, while also managing to observe some of the dock workers walking at different paces at the piers, apparently calling it a day and getting ready to head home, while few more royal guards flew in from above to take their posts around the docks* *Smiling a bit to himself as he watched the calmness of the night slowly starting to blanket the lands, he turned around and began to walk out of the ballroom towards the quest room reserved for him, but not before looking at the empress Nortica herself still mingling with other invited guests near the serving table and silently and respectfully nodding to her, who in return nodded back and smiled back at him as he vanished around the corner into the grand decorated hallway in the look of his room* *After a bit wandering and asking directions from the guards, he was able to find his room and with a single pull of the large iron handle, he entered into his grand oaken decorated guest room fit for a king, while giving out a small chuckle at the sight of seeing how majestetic the bed was and immediately walked over and sat down on the edge with a content sigh. Looking around the room a bit, he was able to find a mini-bar positioned next to the night stand, which looked like it was stored to full with various expensive snacks and drinks if the midnight hunger would strike. However he felt like he'd had enough for this night and instead scanned the door to bathroom over at the opposite side of the room, stood up and went to take a quick shower before hitting the hay and maybe enjoy something to read*

Volt, @@Lightning Bliss, *Noticing that things were about the get heated between the pompous gryphon, Volt and Seth, he trotted from behind the wolf and pegasus in front of them, shot an annoyed look and motioned his hoof at them to try make them refrain from escalating this standoff any further, before looking back towards the gryphon with an equally glaring ire, while keeping a polite tone in his voice* Good sir. You have to take in account, that she was born as a pegasus and spent most of her life as one, before she ascended to alicornhood not too long ago and became a princess. Magic is something she is not yet accustomed to and it takes time for her to learn and use use her powers accordingly, like a young unicorn filly would have to at young age. As for why I am here, is because I'm just her friend and I teach her from time to time with the basics, and she's doing very well if I might say. So with all due respect, I advice you to just drop this subject and return back to the party, before things will get any more unpleasant for both sides than they need to be.

*He looked at the poor alicorn princess struggling with her garments in the midair with very unnoticeable grin on his face, before shrugging it off instantly and enveloping Blissy with a blue aura of his levitation and brought her down to the ground level before him, and used his magic again to free her from the tangled mess of her dress that obstructed her vision and smiled warmly to her once she was able to see around her again* It's alright Blissy, you're free now! You just got tangled with your dress a bit, that's all! *He smiled at Blissy a while, before turning towards the empress* My apologies, your highness. I'm still teaching her the basics of basic levitation and so far, she's still in the learning stage of a filly, but doing good progess nonetheless! Still gotta work out the few kinks with the concentration and she'll be a master spellcaster in no time!

@@Lightning Bliss, *After hearing out empress's description of the ships enchanted properties, his left eyebrow raised up instantly and turned to look at her with an expression of pure astonishment* The ship's rooms shift according to the occupants personality? That's... That's beyond amazing, your highness! I don't think I've ever heard of such powerful enchantment in my life to be honest. I know that the alicorn princesses of equestria could probably do something like it, but I bet they wouldn't waste their time or powers creating such for themselves. While I thought that the empire's airships were already impressive in both esthetic and engineering department, I have to admit that this particular vessel proves that you can take those aspects even further, by placing very powerful enchantments to create a fully unmanned ship able to take you anywhere without the need of a captain, and having the ability to serve the crew with luxury on the side.

My favourite color is brown, since it goes well with everything!

I could care less about being a famous or not.

Been there few times, and I really have no opinion about it to be quite honest!

*He joined in with Blissy and Skylar to look out of the large window out to the royal harbor in the distance, and could see with his eyes one of the most finely made yacht ever known to pony kind, which would even make the equestria's own princess Celestia to turn green from envy. He turned towards both his friends and grinned excitedly, before looking at the empress Nortica again who walked behind them to admire the ship docked at the harbor too* That's a mighty fine ship, your highness! I can only imagine how many hours and artisans it took to create such a magnificent sea vessel worthy of an empress herself. I even wager that none of the royalties in the equestria would have anything like that in their docks!

We're all honored to have been invited here in your fair lands as your quests, and the royal banquet has been more than successful if I might say. I also got a letter from the captain Taylon of the Iron Claws not too long ago, saying that you have taken the initiative of starting a project to further helping the other loyalist tribes of the north to be better integrated in to the prosperous gryphon empire, by allocating more resources to improve both the trading routes between the north and gryphon lands, helping tribal blacksmiths to manufacture better weapons and armor to defend themselves from the rival tribes who are against the empire, and to elevate the living conditions to imperial standards by improving the architecture of already existing buildings to withstand the cold winters better. *He nodded to the empress Nortica deeply, before looking at her again* I am truly thankful for that, you highness. It is assuring to know that my people will someday have a better and peaceful future, where they would not have to constantly wage war against each other over a tiny spot of land, food and other resources, but instead becoming a unified nation under a single banner with a dream to be able to be as great and influential as every other major nation out there and hope to make friends with them.
