  1. Heh, thanks. I wrote the lyrics to Children Cry, but had to look around a bit to find someone to perform them. I was real happy with the guy's performance, even though that was only the first demo. He eventually got bogged down by business, and we lost contact.
  2. I grew up watching Gundam Wing, and its probably still my favorite entry in the series.
  3. No. Ghosts do not exist. Have you ever seen a leprechaun?
  4. I don't know if I'd say he's the BEST writer, but I really want to see Dave Polsky write some more episodes. He wrote my personal favorite episode, "Over A Barrel". It was really disappointing for me to find out that he hasn't done any episode for season 2. Hopefully they'll bring him back for season 3.
  5. I signed up just now. I'm on steam all the time. Name is the same here as there.

I like to start each morning with a reading from the good book... ... the book of heavy metal!
  7. Hello Gordo. However did you find this forum...? Just kidding. I introduced my good friend here to the forum just a few minutes ago. Hopefully he will behave and not tarnish my good name here. My good name that I've been cultivating for all of two days.

I've never really listened to In Flames, but I've known of them through their sister band, All Ends. Well, they used to be sister bands, but neither of the two In Flames guitarists that formed the band are with All Ends anymore. But their first album is quite enjoyable, especially since I'm a big fan of bands with harmony between singers. Warning: the following isn't strictly metal, but still relevant to this thread.
  9. I'm on cloud nine right now. But I need to get down and make all the changes that my fanfic editor suggested!

How do I feel about it? "Roast beef! On white bread!" I've always loved that track, though I don't think I've ever actually heard the original song, only ARP's cover. My favorite ARP cover would have to be "Hallelujiah" though. I've always loved that song, and hearing Johnny sing it was a literal dream come true for me.
  11. My background isn't ponies? Blasphamy!

Yup. It was Crush 40 that did it for me. Jeff Scott Soto is also an amazing singer, and there's a lot to love about the ARP albums he was in. My personal favorite songs with him at the helm would be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muJmndZ8oWc and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7H7Msl2WhE I also enjoyed hearing his work on the W.E.T. album, even if it wasn't quite the same style of music that I was used to hearing him in.
  13. No. I think I'm going to be sick now. Have you ever accidently the entire can?

Yeah, Axel Rudi Pell is one of my favorites. I never would have even gotten into metal or rock music if it wasn't for their current singer, Johnny Gioeli.
  15. Why does it have to be Techno VS Metal? Why can't the two get along?
  16. http://youtu.be/56Mybn9vwYc Awesome song about Pinkie Pie by SuperPsyGuy!
  17. With ALL due respect... are you incapable of recognizing sarcasm?
  18. React to haters? Please, I AM a hater. Haven't you noticed by how polite and cordial I've been towards everyone?
  19. Oh wow, this was nearly perfect! I'd forgotten about all about that song, but it fit perfectly.
  20. Hiya. I used to make music, in a simple online program called jamstudios. It was a fun site, and I got quite a bit out of it. However, I eventually stopped making music with it because the restrictions were becoming too... restricting. There wasn't much room to do new things, and I felt like I was begining to repeat myself by the time I reached my second CD. Since I couldn't afford new software, I left music by the wayside. However, if anyone is interested in what I did during my short stint as a musical artist, I've still got the ol' bandcamp page up, with every song available to listen to and download, completely free. Here's some of the songs I'm still mostly proud of, even if they didn't turn out perfect. Children Cry (Vocal): http://michaelgammel...ldren-cry-vocal Children Cry (Instrumental): http://michaelgammel...ry-instrumental Mechanical Owls: http://michaelgammel...mechanical-owls Invisible Moon: http://michaelgammel.../invisible-moon Invisible Moon (Acoustic): http://michaelgammel...e-moon-acoustic Bouyancy: http://michaelgammel.../track/buoyancy Shipwreck: http://michaelgammel...track/shipwreck I don't know. Maybe you'll like them? I'm not very talented like a lot of the people making music for FiM, but maybe you'll enjoy it. Please tell me what you think, if you have the time. Edit: DO'H! Thanks to the mod who moved this to the correct subsection!
