  1. @Lunaholic How fair, thou hast prevailed in our isolation. Such miracles greet us in this coming age, a stolen past renewed. Enjoy them, if you can. Now for the assignment. Tell me, oh glorious reflection. What doth the voices say? The ones that haunt, the ones that prey, or have they long fallen silent?
  2. Originally I was going to say Baseball, but I remember reaching this point where it stopped being fun? I started hitting that difficulty point where you stop winning no matter how well you do. There'd be a character on the other team pop up out of nowhere and get you out. Kind of like how in Boxing you'd start fighting a pretty much invincible Matt over and over again. So I'm going to say Golf, just because there wasn't a sourness that hit you the same. You either managed to get a perfect game with all holes in one or you didn't, so you'd try again. The game didn't mess it up for you.
  3. If there's one I would puchase on the spot, it'd be that for sure
  4. The one I played the most was a SpongeBob one that I could've sworn only had 6 episodes on it? I'd mostly watch it in a backroom at the office my mom worked at. It came in the classic nickelodeon orange plastic. I don't remember all of them, but it had "Wormy" and "Club SpongeBob" with the magic conch shell. I also had, "A Bugs Life" "Antz" "Toy Story" "Dinosaur" "Lady and the Tramp 2" 2 Different "Bob the Builder" "Beauty and the Beast" including the in-between Christmas special? "Peter Pan" 1 and 2 "Blue's Clues" And some others I'm sure. We still have one tape, but it has footage of me as a baby. My first step father was really into pirating, so we had a huge DVD collection at one point.
  5. Water is what I would want to bend, because I'd argue it's the most versatile. You can effectively shape it to whatever you need with enough patience, practice, and training. Need a knife? Slice away. Forgot your work keys? Shape and shift away. Need to get somewhere on foot faster? Glide atop some water and pull it back in from behind. It's really a matter of imagination. A big one with water as well, is I could near instantly dry off from a shower by pulling all of the water off myself. And because of that ability as well, it'd would be super useful in my line of work where I have to frequently restraint and clean up after animals. Hold them in place with water, and swoosh up messes as I go. Earth and Air could potentially be used for holding as well. Fire's the only one that's an absolute nono, and with my luck that's probably what I'd end up with. But for the sake of this topic, I'm picking water. I also live in the Pacific Northwest, so rain is kind of our thing.
  6. I think they did just so as you have, where the inability to cooperate effectively forces itself to fizzle out. Strong, dangerous, but unsustainable. Who are the Thracian Ponies?
  7. I'm very stuck on hopscotch because I'm hearing the clicking of hooves and chalk can be eco-friendly. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to make eco friendly video games unless they're purely mechanical? You could use wood and ceramics for parts. Make slot machines, a variation of pinball with bells but no lights. Maybe bubble ringtoss and some others? The only way to include an actual video aspect and include electricity, is if we're moving past an era like we live in today, where solar power and bioplastics are common, everything is carbon neutral/negative, ect. That or like fur clothing, has to be vintage and out of production. Relics of the past, maintained and kept around via green means.
  8. Last night I dreamt that I had broken into my childhood best friend's home. I haven't seen him in like 8 years? And it had been like another 3 since we had really hung out I think? We only lived 2 blocks away from each other back then, but he did a lot of extracurricular stuff after school, and we didn't have any of the same classes, so our schedules didn't line up. One of the last times we hung out, his dad was surprised to me, because apparently it had been a year since I'd been over to their house. Great guy, great family, the time just wasn't there sadly. He's one of the people that got me into this fandom. Anyways, in the dream, I had broken in, and was hanging out in his bedroom, where I found some copper wire and small firecrackers that I had left from forever ago according to the dream. His mom walked in on me and was surprised but friendly, even when I admitted that my friend didn't know I was there. He eventually showed up and it was a little awkward. Not sure why I dreamed that. I had sort of done this before as a kid, where we were supposed to hang out after he got back from his baseball practice. I got to his house before him, and something happened that took another hour. Usually I would knock on the front door to see if he was around and we could hang out, but since I knew he was on his way, I just hopped the fence in the alleyway and went through the backdoor. I just hung out in his room working on some lego project we had begun a while back or something. His dad walked in and with some laundry and was of course surprised, but fine. At another friends house I would just walk in, and it would surprise his dad, but that was because for whatever reason, I was the only person their dogs never barked at, so his warning system never went off.
  9. Today I learned that the dorsal fins of blue whales are closer to their tails than their heads. Also, as of typing this, googling Blue Whale shows an AI image that is clearly a combination of a humpback whale and a great white shark as the first result. How does one say Мусенька?
  10. I've never been big on wearing merchandise, and people don't care so much now because there's so many fandoms now. We don't stand out like how we used to. If you're able to, I would suggest going to a comic con or equivalent in your area. You'll get to see people into "weirder" stuff, no judgement, and you might even see some fellow bronies.
  11. It's a nice thought, but part of what makes Trixie who she is, is not being the brightest. Her act is fine and all, it's the ego that's always been the issue. I saw a video the other day of a gentleman making it appear as though a Crumbled hankerchief had disappeared, but only to the child volunteer. The rest of the crowd clearly saw him just toss it aside. There was still magic in the joy brought to the crowd, and that's the kind Trixie needed to practice.
  12. Why does this sound like an epic one liner for D&D player's demise? I'll spend $10 on pull tabs a few times a year at family outtings and divy them up amongst everyone. Its been a bad streak, but someone always wins a dollar or two. Otherwise, I'm willing to put money in for a small 50/50 raffle but only after gauging the crowd so I can put in enough to be just shy of rigging it.
  13. Wearing: Still nothing! Hair: Wet Eating: Krispy Cream Donut for dessert Drinking: Milk to wash it down Thinking: About things I need to get done in the near future but don't have the funds for Feeling: Somewhat stressed Talking to: My youngest cat who turned 3 yesterday. Watching: His heavy breathing and nistagmus Loving: His big shaky eyes Hating: How hot the apartment is going to be tomorrow Wanting: To run the window fans for the night to cool the whole place and not just the bedroom down Waiting for: My love to come to bed Weather: 62 American, partly cloudy but clear by sunrise. Situation: Felid Frenzied
  14. How many cats have you had? Are you afraid of needles? What's the worst way someone has messed up an order of food for you, When's the last time you dug a hole? If you could have lunch with anyone in your local area, who would it be and why?
  15. Yucca flowers are kind of like that with their chemical gingery sort of spice flavor?
  16. @KPackratt I still have a can of Starlight. Dont know why they discontinued that and have tried all of these other new ones recently. The Raspberry spice or whatever is just weird to me.
  17. You up for a character with some bone exposure?
  18. Working in a vet clinic exposes you to,,, a lot. Tape worms are my no no.
  19. My No.1 is a dinosaur fruitsnack that was kind of generic but oh so good. I think their production was reduced due to higher sales for more specifically themed ones for kid's shows, and then replaced entirely after the start of the Jurassic World Franchise. I don't remember the exact brand but they all had thus same big trex head on the box. I also miss the Sobe drinks, those were delicious. There's also the, "Doctor's Choice" Candy Cigarettes that were chaly and orange flavored. You can get other kinds but they're not the same. My most recent frustration with discontinuation was the Kelloggs Instabowls. They were single serving containers of breakfast cereal, that came with powdered milk, so all you had to do was add water. They would've been a fantastic option for camping, potentially MREs, and the school feeding programs that operate during the summer. The briefly had a Cocoa Krispies one but that was considered too unhealthy for schools. I tried to order some from Walmart while they said they were still in stock. They weren't, and instead substituted for the smallest box they had, but still charged me the whole amount. I paid $60 for a four dollar box of cereal! Not only that, it came damaged, and there was no way to return it or get a refund.
  20. I'm trying to remember exactly, but I could've sworn on a news network within the last few years, I saw footage of a dronestrike, and they just had it playing on repeat in the background. This wasn't like normal footage however. You couldn't see faces clearly, but it was surprisingly close up, in color, and you could make out what individuals were wearing and whatnot. I dont know what their affiliation with anyone or anything was. I recall it hardly being connected to the overall topic at hand. They were just people as far as you could tell, going about their day to day lives. They didn't just dissappear in the explosion either. You could see them on the ground, unmoving. It was just people dying, over and over, without warning and so nonchalant. It made me understand why my mom didn't have the news playing in the background after 9/11 when I was younger. It went beyond informative to just being an exploitation of tragedy. There's other things that come to mind, but they were more, "planned" and came with an advisory notice, or consisted of what I would consider, unhinged opinion pieces. I've seen plenty worse, but those were instances in which I was seeking on the ground type coverage for certain events. I knew I'd be seeing things, and not simply happen upon them.
  21. I didn't have any serious problems in middle school, but the amount of bs they put us through made freshmen year a vast improvement. Honestly, had a great first two years. Despite drama with my first stepfather and my grandmother, my life felt well put together. Then we moved, and that upturned everything. I went from seeing people I'd known for a decade almost daily, to not at all, and I've seen so few in the decade since. Daily bouts of laughter replaced by,,, nothing. Just the absence of joy. Things began to look a little up my senior year. I'd adjusted a bit, made a few friends in intro to theatre, and then my dog, my best friend whom helped me get through every challenge up until then, was wrongfully put to sleep. That destroyed me. The latter friendships lasted until I graduated, and then it was back to a period of isolation, only as an adult. I still talked to friends from before and saw my closest ones a few times a year, but it wasn't quite the same, and that's kind of how it still is. Only all of the hardship got me to being with my person, and I couldn't be happier to have her.
  22. I grew up eating them relatively often. Problem is they're not that filling. Every now and then my girlfriend and I will grab a few for a picnic. Childish Charcuterie. I was inspired years back by them and the esbit folding stoves that come in certain MREs, for an adults only version where you would boil a hotdog in beer amongst other options. Gourmet on the go type of thing. I also pictured simpler versions, and I did have the right idea on those, because shortly after there was an explosion of options with different types of fancy meats, cheeses and crackers.
