Someone on Equestria Daily wrote something to this effect: You aren't a man until you walk up to a cashier with an arm full of pink ponies and tell them that they're for YOU. And they're pretty much right. This is how I feel whenever I get awkward glances at the store where I shop:

Cadence is basically the magical incarnation of love. Love and friendship are kind of a HUGE part of the My Little Pony world, and if Alicorns represent a very key part of life (Day, Night, Love), then it's no real surprise that the sheer power of Cadences's love gun could almost/even rival Celestia's... Day... Powers... Plus, Twilight Sparkle can cast bubbles around her friends, and a tree library... Shining Armour can cast a shield around an entire freaking city! I mean, with the combined powers of the love of an alicorn, and sheer defensive force of the magical Captain of the Guard, it's not /too/ much of a stretch to imagine they could do away with Queen Chrysalis. Also, thinking of it, Chrysalis said she was being powered by the love of Shining Armour... and with that amount of love (and whatever pre-existing strength a Queen Changling would have) she defeated Celestia. Her strength didn't draw from Cadence or seemingly anything else, it just seems like Shining Armour REALLY loved Cadence aha. If Cadence were to have taken Chrysalis on horn-to-horn, they would've tied, but with couple together... yeah... I think I'm caring too much about this particular point. :I

The first 15 minutes were crazy and awesome, but then it switched over to Pinkie Pieden and I didn't know WHAT to think.

Twilight Plissken? Solid Sparkle? This episode was good to me if only for those brief moments where I was like "That has to be on purpose." I agree, it was predictable, but still, seeing Metal Gear Sparkle 3: Spike Eater was worth it. Can't wait for Metal Gear Sparkle 4: Horns of the Princesses, myself. Or Peace Trotter... Or Colts of Liberity, but that one won't feature Solid Sparkle so much~

Granny Smith. :I I just find her irritating. Even in the episode dedicated to her, sure the ending was redemptive, but the entire episode was just... obnoxious. Season 2 seems to be over-doing everyone's personality traits, and it doesn't work well for someone as irritating as that. Those are just my two bits, though.

Metal Gear Sparkle 3: Spike Eater Make it happen.

That made so much sense that my brain hurts now from accepting it. Still not sure why she's dressed like one of the SNAAAAAAKEs though... Not that anything's wrong with that.

Aha, yes! It's exactly that one!

My parents know. I started watching the show with my younger brothers and sisters (ages 9 (boy), 9 (girl) and 7 (boy), and naturally they wanted to constantly talk about it. After my little brother went on about the show a bit, my dad was like "Come on, seriously?" as if he were angry... so I said "What are you doing? You're trying to make them feel bad for liking something?" and he's been silent about it since. My mom and step-mom on the other hand, they're totally fine with it. My step-mom made me a Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash lampshade for Christmas, and my mom got me a Blossomforth figure because it came with a hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog being another major hobby of mine.)

She'll always be Derpy to me, and as long as I have the Friendship Express DVD (and hopefully soon, that Derpy figure from Taobao), they can't change that, aha. On (the original) topic, I liked the older, goofier sounding Derpy. The newer one sounds generic-bubbly. Like a lame Pinkie Pie. Those are just my two bits.

Twilight broke Doc's rule about time travel... Aside from that, Twilight's been pretty tame lately, less Lesson Zero and more Season One Twilight... why wouldn't she just /listen/ to Future Tuesday Twilight? With what Twilight's been freaking out about lately (TARDY!), the sentence was probably "Whatever you do, don't worry about it."

I'm sure it's been said countless times, but I still find it hilarious that Fluttershy has wings, yet decides to not use them and instead bucks two carts of garbage on two Earth ponies just for blocking the path.

I have to admit, when Fluttershy said "no pony gives a flying f..", I was drawing, and I had to physically stop, look up at the screen, and wait for what she was going to say. "Flying feather" might be one of my favorite lines this season.
