What are your favorite album(s) that are considered "classic"? for me it's Odessey and Oracle, I've never heard anyone say anything bad about this album, It's just pure beauty from start to finish, The second you hear the first few notes from the opening track you're hooked.

mega thread Song Stuck in your Head Right Now
bailey2 replied to Blue Moon's topic in Media Discussion
It's actually quite complicated on how it works, Back in the age of vinyl records if you covered a song, You didn't even give credit to the band, just the person who wrote it, I just picked up the closet vinyl record I have next to me to give an example, The album I picked up and it has a cover of "Season of the Witch" on it, It doesn't say (Cover by Vanilla Fudge) it just gives the writers credit, In this case it says (D. Leitch), You don't even have to give the full name, Just the first letter of their name and the surname of the person who wrote it. Now i'm gonna make things even more confusing (sorry ), If an artist has the right to cover a song and changes the lyrics, That particular version becomes partly there property, I'll give an example, "When The Levee Breaks" was recorded in 1929 and the writers credit belongs to Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie, However when Led Zeppelin expanded on the song and changed it around the writers credits became (Page, Plant, Jones, Bonham and Memphis Minnie). Music ownership is a very complicated thing and I hope I helped make some sense out of it. But I understand what you mean though, "Hi Ho Silver Lining" and "Make You Feel My Love" are two songs I enjoy, but not many people know the original artists. Take care. -
You aren't a bad person for your beliefs!

I agree! Life would be boring if everyone believed the same thing, It's interesting to hear viewpoints of people from all different walks of life. -
So most of us will collect something at some point in our lives but if you collect something for long enough, That tiny collection on your bedroom shelf will become a HUGE mess. We all have some idea of how we want our collections arranged (A-Z, Release date, Colour) and while it's a nostalgic task getting to look back at how far you've came since you first started collecting, It can also be a huge chore. So I have a few questions.. What do you collect? How big is your collection(s)? And how do you keep them organized? As for me, I collect vinyl records and have thousands, I also collect CDs, Retro games/consoles, Plushies and trading cards. Organizing most of my collections is a simple task, apart from the records they would take around a week since I keep them stored at two different locations. Here's a few blurry photos I took while arranging my CDs last year.

Wow o.o this is just going bizar

Alright, I think I know what might be the problem, Sertraline is well known for causing bizarre muscle spasms or "tics", This might apply to the heart as well, It made my friend jerk his arms around randomly and even caused him to let out little screeches like a cat, I might be wrong, but that's my best guess but i'm not a doctor, Only a doctor would know the cause. -

Hey buddy, You mentioned something about medicine? Could you tell us the name of the medicine you're taking? Because medicine can often cause heart palpitations (a deep heart beat that sends an electric shock type feeling through the body), Some medicines often used to treat anxiety can cause very dangerous side effects. -
Back in September I thought it was a good idea to do an absolutely terrible dye job, I'll share it picture, It doesn't look "that bad" in the photo but after showering or waking up in the mornings, It would be curly and I would look like Ronald McDonald. (luckily I was not stupid enough to take a photo of that.)

This song but the version by The Sunshine Company, Which isn't on YouTube. Also the song Walk Away Renee because I've been covering it a lot lately. Not what I'd usually listen to, but i'm in the mood for some classic pop songs. -

I love psychedelic rock! Psychedelic rock is not a rip off of The Beatles at all, The Kinks and Donovan were making Psychedelic songs long before Sgt. Pepper's release, Also the first use of the word "psychedelic" directly relating to music was the 13th Floor Elevators album "Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators" Here's one of my favorite Psychedelic rock rarities that no one ever speaks about unfortunately. Glad to hear someone else likes psychedelic music! These guys were one of the biggest hard rock supergroups of their time, with the legendary Steve Marriott on vocals/guitar, It's a shame you never heard about them in mainstream media. -
I'll share a few pictures. I have spent thousands on records since I was 15, I have all the original discographies of "classic" bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Kinks, The Who, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones ect. Then I also have really rare stuff that I never touch, like Skip Bifferty (pictured), Blossom Toes, The Open Mind, Velvet Opera, Arcadium and promotional records from The Zombies (I'm a big Zombies fan). Currently on my "wanted" list is a copy of The World Of Oz (Deram 1969)

3 days, That's when the hallucinations started effecting me, I remember seeing loads of circle shaped patterns when I closed my eyes, I also remember listening to the song "No Sleep Blues" repeatedly because it's about insomnia, How fitting.

Is anyone here a fan of Season 0 Yu-Gi-Oh, Not the series where they play card games repeatedly but the one before that where they play all different kind of challenges? Personally I found it great and have re-watched it twice so far.

Ogden's Nut Gone Flake - Not because I love the game, but because they've been one of my favorite bands for years, Good to listen to in the summer!

I am on the autistic spectrum and no-one ever notices until I tell them, People have told me "if you wouldn't have told me, I would never have guessed", I guess there's some sort of misconception that people with Autism are dumb but I attend meet-ups with the National Autistic Society every month and I highly doubt you'd be able to tell the autistic people from the non-autistic people, Some of the people with severe autism you can tell but they have hearts of gold and are really nice people but most of us you can't really tell. My ex-girlfriend even told me "I would never of guessed you had autism" and apart from my occasional spells of depression, Most people wouldn't be able to notice either. When I grow up I want to help people with autism because some of the best people I have ever met has been from the regular meet ups at the Nation Autistic Society.
