  14. I got a high tolerance for alcohol, and my favorite flavor is bitter, but I don't usually drink more than a beer or two with friends. Sometimes when i go to events i drink champagne, whiskey or vodka but i do these things rarely. Sometimes i also share a beer with some workmates (because work can be soo boring!), but that's about it.
  15. I'm pretty certain i'm just regurgitating what everyone else here have posted. I'm a brony (who would have guessed?) and as such i enjoy the show and it's theme. But just as easily, i enjoy pieces of graphic, adult entertainment (Violence, Gore, Blood, dark humor...). I played all sorts of violent games and franchises, Fallout (the series being a personal favorite of mine), Kingpin: Life of Crime, VTM: Bloodlines, GTA, Call of Duty, Unreal Tournament... the list goes on and on. Iv'e never had a problem seeing high levels of violence. I started playing some of these and more when i was 6. I suppose that means i got poor parenting, but whatever. I never had problems seeing death, violence and gore on screen. I don't think a lot of others really have a problem with these kinds of games. It's a question of taste, really.
  16. Hey! Welcome aboard. Allow me to cordially welcome you to the forums - it's a really fun and friendly little corner of the internet If you've any questions or would simply like to have a chat, just send a message!
  17. There's a forum for that i believe, under life advice, in the Beyond Equestria sections. Good luck with whatever weighs on you!
  18. Hey there! Welcome to the forums. We're so glad to have a new member here! If what you're looking for is meeting people and making friends, look no further. The community is really friendly, so you came to the right place I wouldn't mind being friends with you - if you wish to talk, or just have a question or two - feel free to ask!
  19. I'd absolutely love to see a full-length movie. Similarly to season openings and finales, i would imagine a movie (which would probably be longer) will allow for a lot of extrapolation and story development - and by that i mean in Equestria, with ponies (the setting that everyone loved, anyway).
  20. ^ This. I tend to walk around my room when i'm talking on the phone, hugging the walls is part of my own pattern. When i'm outside, using my cellphone, i will usually unknowingly migrate towards the nearest wall and start walking along it. I don't know why i do it, i just do.
  21. Believe me, i understand what you're saying. What you present is something iv'e pondered for a while - and i keep pondering to this day. While i wish to believe there should be a destiny, how can we actually prove something like that? Or better yet, why should there even be some sort a divine plan? Don't get me wrong here, but i never had problem with thinking of myself and others as organic, meaty constructs (albeit advanced ones) - your life should be defined by what you make of yours. I intend to live my life to it's fullest, leaving whatever legacy i can behind, and after the time my life's expectancy, i could be defined by what i left behind. As for morals... these could be considered the work of natural selection. As the general population of humans (meaning sans various individuals, psychopaths, terrorists, etc.), we keep to a certain behavior because it benefits our survival as a species. I feel that the desires for redemption, afterlife or the survival of your spirit - are things born of humanity's arrogance and fear.
  22. It would feel like a whole different show because of how rushed each episode would feel. The pacing would be completely off.
  23. I grew up in a Jewish family, my family is theistic - keeping with the traditions. As a child, i always found the biblical stories far-fetched and irrational. A lot of things looked less and less logical to me over time, and when i pressed the issues with friends who held to their faith and family, i never got a convincing answer. I can't believe in something which can't be explained - soul, afterlife, even the concept of god. I went to a theistic seminar once started up by an organization meant to debate and spread their belief to skeptics. It was a three day seminar which attempted to tackle many subjects which people like me have troubles with. Once again, i remained unconvinced. I don't hate the old traditions or the believers, though. For a lack of a better term, i 'believe' in science (even that isn't exactly a proper definition).
