Here's my latest; This is actually very much like Octy and DJ PON3's roles in the show. Dj PON3 gets more views (and no lines), but not enough for fans and Octy gets just enough of a line to make her fans drool for more.

Oh, I know she'll get over it. And I want her to. But, and this is important (to the mood of the whole of the show), the writers can linger on it for a few moments (or way too long [but I doubt that's going to happen]), or they can rush the emotions. I'm just a bit concerned that they'll rush it because they have to go from 1 intro 2 plot intro (which may be the same as 1, but not always) 3 Showing us Twilight's perspective 4 Twily's friends figure out what the plot is. 5 Attempts to change Twilight's perspective [probably comedic at times] 6 success [may be the same as 5 if there are no failed attempts] All in 22 minutes and meshed around commercial breaks. Oh, and don't forget that Hasbro might add point number 7, product placement which barely fits into the story [ala Mane 6 Breezies]. I may have forgotten a point or they may throw something else in that is useful to the story -- I don't know. At best, that's 3 minutes 40 seconds for each point. And given that the show is highly comedic in focus. that leaves little time to mourn for Twilight's emotional loss. For those of you who felt MMC was rushed, they may rush this one also. Though thinking of MMC I predict a song for mood's sake I believe with moderate confidence that the writers can do it [Though if Hasbro puts in number 7 then I'm much less confident].

My hope for this episode is to bawl like a baby over the loss of the tree! I do harbor a tiny tinge of fear that it's gonna be too much like "eh, get over yourself."

I'm still working on blending, but I think it's working better now. I made this for ATG skipping a meal as on Yom Kippur one fasts.

She's abandoning her friends to Discord. She doesn't think through that not it implies there is an it. She's not even dealing with "it." Whatever "it" is. She has promised not to let anything interfere with Twily and Candace. Discord showing up and wanting care. That's an "it" to stay around for -- just in case he has a trick up his sleeve.. Or her studying for her test is also pretty mature. For a 4 year old. Most 6 year olds will buckle up and focus more than RD did. I love her, but it's for the growth that I have seen and will continue to see.

I think it was a bit of both. He doesn't know how to show his feelings so acts needle like.

'Twas a ploy to see if Twily cared about him. I think he does care, or he wouldn't have been sentimental about accessorizing and Rarity. Just that he's not used to caring and he doesn't care that much.

That's interesting, because I was thinking that I'm glad that he didn't seem to be some immanent-life-threat plotline (because I don't think I'll be feeling it [again]), but another fun slice of life type episode (I'm pretty sure from the clip that I'm currently feeling it!).

My first inclination is to say that's not true, but lets look at the positive side of maturity of these characters. Having their own job. *ding*x6 More or less having their own business *ding*x6 (if head of friendship operations counts) being responsible for somebody who needs them. *ding*x6 (pets) Being there for others. *ding*x6 ohhhkaaay how about consistently being there for others *crickets* as consistently as can expected from reasonably flawed characters? Hmmm.... Twily has her freakouts but *ding* AJ her pride/overprotectiveness but *ding* Fluttershy her fears but *ding* Pinkie has her Pinkieness, but *ding* Rarity has her self-centered view [not that she's selfish, but she has a view that is centered around her needs in a way that makes it hard for her to see others needs] So, when she sees something *ding* Rainbow Dash . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=rihYCrK0c4c#t=137 I feel needs work. But she's improving.
