    We have a moderate list of Ponies who can give dash a run for her money. Twilight can be beaten by normal-ish unis According to Journal of the two sisters Luna has similar powers to Flutters, and I'd bet there are lots of similar powers out there. I'd guess that other ponies can break the 4th wall, clearly cheese has prophetic powers, and lots of ponies are really smart. [is the 4th wall where they keep all their stuff?] In a world where almost everybody is nearly cookie cutter pretty [basic pony mold = pretty] or handsome, why should we be surprised that many of them are exceptionally powered also? The one advantage the Mane 6 clearly has is the One Ring elements of harmony.

    Quick everypony let's over-analyze the new character! She doesn't look like a bat. She appears to be a she. Not a unicorn, might she be sugar belle with straightened hair? mmm, no. how about night glider with wings obfuscated? Hair's too long. How about an old friend of ours who just wasn't Flutter's friend until now. I dunno. Your turn to over-analyze!

    Why won't it work? I generally think that Sunny should take over as magic of the Mane 6 and teach Twilight about friendship as a big twist on the relationship between the two (point five) of them.

    I agree. Though I disagree with your spoiler premise. It would be cool but there would be less impact; I'm thinking one of the season opener ponies.

    Friendly sarcasm alert; So, according to the OP, the message of the episode is !%$!^ patience, get good contacts. I guess that IS an important lesson, but I doubt it would be well recieved.

    From EQD Make New Friends But Keep Discord Air Date: May 16, 2015) Synopsis: After finding out that Fluttershy is taking a new friend to the Grand Galloping Gala instead of him, Discord goes to extreme lengths to show that it doesn't bother him. Thanks to Masem and Impus for the heads up! Seeing Discord jealous over Flutter's friendship already has me going "awwwww": on his behalf.

    When it comes to the Pinkamena posts here I generally feel Replace "Stupid" with "attracted to an aspect of Pinkie fan canon that I dislike and generally ignore in the hopes that it will go away."

    I did say I was mostly being silly. It's just that with them around so often, I thought they'd put welcoming accents where they would be. It's odd that RD and FS put their items where they were and then silliness!

    When I heard about the ponies leaving their mark on the castle at the end, my first thought was that they also wanted to feel at home in the castle, so they picked places that felt comfy for them Rarity, in the dining room, an elegant place. AJ, the kitchen, where she can make apple delights. Pinkie Pie, the whole castle (personal space, what's that?) RD: the Library [well there goes that theory] and Fluttershy: Twilight's room. [Totally blown] But then I thought, what if it wasn't blown. RD: nerd at heart Fluttershy: SHIP IT The only problem is the names Flutter-sparkle and TwilightShy are terrible. What do you think? (yes I'm mostly being silly)

    One could argue that these aren't individual, but team efforts, therefore team sparkle wins (the problems ARE resolved.) Therefore through friendship and her resolve, all her problems she will solve. (Even in Lesson Zero, Sun-butt didn't give her a failing grade.)

    Ok. To talk about my most painful moment I need to start with my second most painful moment (just to set up the pain scale) Pancreatitus, when my pancreas decided that it wanted to grow to the size of a watermelon and didn't consult the rest of my body. I was in so much pain I couldn't read kids books like Dr. Seuss because I couldn't focus on the words well enough. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks less 12 hours. And that was my SECOND most painful. You needed to know that because my most painful time was when I had a organ spasm after a surgical brace was removed. It felt as painful as pancreatitus in burning sensation, in stabbing sensation, AND in pounding sensation. The spasm lasted for like one second, but if it had lasted for half a second later I would have fainted. As is I couldn't even scream from the pain and was brought down to my knees. Only pure force of will kept me from lying on the bathroom floor. Good times

    Like Luffy; I think it's more along the lines of Pinkie is the least socially observant of the ponies. Pinkie thought process: Everypony was talking about memorable things. What can I think of that was memorable Golden Oak [blanking blanking what did I last do with the Library, oh yeah right, watch it be blown up!] "BLURT FIRST thing that comes to mind"

    Solid episode, but I wanted to bawl over the treehouse. It felt that Twily & Spike's emotions were rushed too much for my tastes. The plot seemed a bit forced. "You girls know so much about me" -- which the natural response is; Yeah whatever Twilight, I'm saying who cares what you think of as comfortable and we'll make ourselves comfortable. Ignoring those two points I have only one more [two-part] complaint. The Tree Chandelier was . . . nice. I can understand how Twily could like it, but it seemed kinda lacking to me. The whole place felt mostly empty but they had the chandelier. No mention of books as decorations whatsoever, which would have been natural for Twily. As I started saying it WAS solid. The song was a fine way to deal with a montage, the 5 were to character, and Spike really shined for once. In some ways it's one of the best Spike episodes, really showing his sacrificing for Twilight without making him seem flanderized or incompetent. The funny parts were laugh out loud and there was some real pathos, and I just have to go back to watching other episodes if I want to bawl rather than merely tear up.

    I think it's as stylistic as all the near shimmer shipping the video displays. [holding hands, dancing etc., {though sitting on Twily's piano like that was just begging the fandom to ship her.) Edit: just like the other video with shimmer shipping, it's stylistic and not to be taken as canon.

    I have to ask what everypony is thinking, "Does that mean that Half-Life 3 is confirmed?"

    I think that would be a "too pat" way to end DT as an antagonist. Maybe as a first baby step, but not as a total reform.

    Definately Ponyang (pyongyang) am I the first to name the settlement that? It explains Pinkie's thoughts about how she could use her talent if it isn't for parties [Pinkie's Pride]. He COULD have made a balloon heart (or whatever) and balloon supports

    The introductory part to the meal can take up to 4 hours without being drug out on purpose. Something one not familiar with the Passover Seder is that they're about 5-10 minutes into the introductory part. 2 hours wait is quite likely. Comedy dictates that she leaves after Maror. (which is the bitter herbs [often thinly sliced horseradish), mere moments before the meal.

    Yeah, that type of "one who can't ask" is not often addressed in the Seder.
