That would be nice, but Hasbro would have to be acquired by Disney, which means a 50% chance of them filling MLP as a franchise with SJW-infested crap. They did it to Stars Wars, and if Captain Marvel rakes in a huge profit, they're gonna do it to the rest of the MCU. I'd keep MLP as far away from that as possible.

food What's your favorite soda flavor?
KillerKingBakudan replied to Sondash Studios's topic in General Discussion
I swore off sodas a long time ago. Unless they create one that's as healthy as spring water, I'm not picking up another bottle of that shit for as long as I live. BUT that's not to say I dislike soda-flavored foods, so...... I'd have to go with root beer. -

What's in your action figure collection?

At long last, I have a Doctor Doom! Albeit one from ToyBiz. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a Hasbro Doom, but I don't regret picking this up at the comic shop today. I wasn't expecting to see it in person, and when I did, I realized I've been missing out on such a good figure all this time. This is probably the best version of Doom they made circa 2002, and for a figure that old, $25 is a steal. I love how the articulated fingers make it easy to put that pistol in either hand. The Fantastic Four issue it comes with is a classic Doom story, and overall.... He's intimidating as fuck! -

Just got a Motoko Kusanagi from Figma. I was worried this one would be fragile given how short she is (about 5 1/2"), but I'm pleasantly surprised her joints are at least as sturdy as the ones on some of my Play Arts figures. And this is a reissue, so I'm glad I didn't have to pay $200+ to get her. That would have sucked! -
You borrow a book from the library at the school of friendship. When you return it, you're told by Starlight that you brought it in three days past the due date, and you owe a late fee. You don't feel like arguing with her, so you decide to just give her the bits she's asking for. It's only a small amount. A few weeks later, you go to Sugarcube Corner and order your favorite cake on the menu for a party you had planned. But when you give your bits to Pinkie, she doesn't give you the cake you asked for. You demand to know why she's ripping you off. After several minutes of arguing, Mrs. Cake comes out and says your payment is being redirected to the school of friendship by order of Princess Twilight. You have no clue why this is happening, of course. After threatening to sue both Pinkie and the Cakes, you go to Twilight's school and demand to know the meaning of this bullshit. Apparently, you're still being charged for the overdue library book. Yes, you paid the late fee. But there's also been some "interest" piling on top of it that's been getting exponentially bigger with each passing day. And until you give Twilight the full amount, which by now has gone beyond four digits, you won't be able to buy anything. Not in Ponyville, or in any other city in Equestria. You won't even be able to hire a lawyer to sue her ass off. Naturally, you've never been so pissed about anything in your life. You cuss out Twilight and scream loudly enough for her students to hear from the other side of the school hallway. And with that, she adds a hefty "inconvenience fee" to the bill. And she says if you keep at it, she'll incapacitate you with her magic, and then call for the royal guard to come and take you away. Before you storm out of the school, you tell her she's not going to get away with it because you're going to bring this to the EEA's attention, and the other princesses. You're confident that when you state your case, SHE'll be the one who's taken away. That is, until you head back to your house and find...... that there is no house. Applejack and Big Mac have just finished tearing it down. You want to confront them, but you're stopped by a mob of hungry animals under Fluttershy's orders. If you're not gonna cough up Twilight's money, they'll just seize everything you own. Even the shirt off your back, which Rarity magically rips off of you in an instant. Along with your pants. But because she's so generous, she offers to give you a nice jumpsuit with the word "Delinquent" printed all over it. Until your debt has been erased, that's all you'll get to wear in Equestria. You go to your friends and family for help. And just when you think the situation couldn't possibly get worse, you find that they've been targeted by the Mane Six as well. And more than likely over some other ridiculous fee you weren't told about. One of your friends had even tried to attack them, and in response, was knocked out in a Wonderbolt ambush led by Spitfire and Rainbow Dash. This friend of yours is now being held captive on a very small cloud hoisted 8,000 feet in the air. Starlight has also cast the walking-on-clouds spell on your friend, which is expected to last for the next twelve hours. At that point, your friend's a goner. Unless you go back to Twilight and pay up. You're slowly, but surely running out of options. What do you do?

gaming Have you ever rage quit a video game?
KillerKingBakudan replied to DivineDefender1000's topic in Media Discussion
I'd never RQ no matter how bad I lost. That hasn't stopped me from getting penalized for it though, because I'm playing on a shitty WIFI connection. -
You're a student at Twilight's school. There, you learn about friendship and make a lot of friends, particularly with the Young Six. And you get to know them so well that they regularly hang out with you in your dorm room. But then you begin to notice Smolder scratching herself. She's not going through that molding phase since she already has wings, and her scales aren't breaking out. And she also gets irritable every time you ask her about it. That's nothing too out of the ordinary, except she even threatens to char you to death if you don't piss off. In addition to this disturbing change in behavior, her friends have also observed her stealing and damaging private property. They've asked Starlight to help, yet for all that counseling experience, she's not even able to figure out what's wrong with her. Her refusal to accept guidance and her faltering attendance makes it seem like she's unfit for further studies, and Starlight's even contemplating a recommendation to Twilight to have her expelled from the school. She's just become too much of an overbearing asshole. At some point, Smolder goes missing before she could be sent home. She's gone for three days, and eventually, you find her lifeless on your bed with powder all over her face. On closer inspection, you confirm that she died from snorting heroin. You don't know where she got it, but with no evidence linking her addiction to any student or faculty member at the school, everyone's going to think it was your fault. And Ember would be more than happy to burn you alive as soon she hears you may be responsible. But that's IF she hasn't already jumped to conclusions and assumed the Mane Six had led her to this untimely death. You hear from several ponies claiming that they saw her leading an army of dragons toward Equestria, and they all look like they're ready to incinerate every fucking thing that's breathing in the land. The ponies could probably stop them with magic, but not before sustaining heavy casualties. There's no time to find the dealer responsible, but if you took the blame and surrendered yourself to the dragons, no one else would have to suffer. Do you do it? Or do you start packing and run?

Nah, I like it. It's the first bar I remember eating too.

Pancakes because they have an IHOP with lots of nice recipes that no waffle for me has come close to beating. The only things I really enjoy about waffles are eating them with chicken, or as ice cream cones. Pancakes are the preferred breakfast for ponies too.

What's one thing that always plays in your head when you sleep that makes you feel uncomfortable? Somehow, I'm always dreaming about dying in a car accident. Like rear ending somebody after sailing off a ramp. Or speeding at 100 mph on an overpass, smashing through a rail and plummeting 40 feet below. Or crashing into a number of things that would get my car to blow up. I'm a good driver with a clean record, and I'd never do anything this stupid. So I don't understand why I keep having these dreams. It's as if my brain's trying to tell me this might happen in the near future.

So Celestia decides to build a new Roman-style colosseum on the outskirts of Equestria. And in several chambers beneath the colosseum are monsters pulled from the Everfree forest. They're all tired and pissed off, and will attack any pony they see for food once released into the arena. The purpose to this is not unike the actual Roman colosseum built ages ago. Capital punishment for society's worst criminals, which also serves as entertainment for the sadistic masses. But as bad as these criminals are, there are still a lot of ponies who can't help but express shock and horror at seeing them brutalized. Many of them have stopped attending after one visit. This has been the subject of several protests as of late. Because they're disturbing Celestia's day-to-day operations, she issues a warning: Any pony who doesn't shut the fuck up will go to prison. And any pony who tries to rescue the criminals before they can be let loose in the arena will be apprehended, and thrown in there with them. In chains. Fluttershy insists that the monsters have been mistreated. They're actually good creatures that would never attack ponies so viciously without good cause, and are only doing it because no pony from the castle has been feeding them. And because the guards have seen her talking to them one night, Celestia has personally given her a more strict warning. If she does it again, she'll become their next meal. On the next day, Celestia gives you a job offer. She wants you to sell tickets to all your friends, and your friends' friends, and their friends and so on, so they can fill the coloseum and enjoy all the chaos. Refusal to do it will be regarded as a form of protest, and you can guess what will likely happen from there. What do you do?

And now I've got the full Vulture BAF set! Too bad they never gave him any weapons. It'd be nice to pose him with that big ass gun he used to... -
I wish it wasn't exclusive to the PS3, because I really miss playing this game. I think I can say with a straight face that Tokyo Jungle's one of the best titles I've ever played. Before this, I never used to care about racking up a high score in anything. Not even beat em ups. But this has such a unique concept to it. The idea that you're an animal who has to survive in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity's gone- save for one shitty office worker- just makes you want to see how long you can last. Even after the intended 100-year cut off point where the map's completely devoid of animals to kill for food, but instead swarming with those OP'ed Homo Erectus douchebags. And I'm proud to say that on my last playthrough, I managed to not only get my zebra to the end of the timeline (1000 years), but I got the highest possible score AND maxed out my stats. I love zebras to death now. This naturally gives me an even bigger appreciation for Zecora than most people. Lol. And while it was shortlived, seeing my name at the top of the leaderboard gave me a deep satisfaction I hadn't felt from beating any game in years. I still have no idea how the fuck people had accomplished this with some of the other animals. I always ended up dying as a carnivore due to the sparsity of food and annoying toxicity levels at the 100-year mark. And I'd never pick a tiger or a bear because I found they were too slow to complete some of the challenges on time. But the leaderboards continue to surprise me whenever I look at them. Strategies are being found to make all the animals work. Even in co-op games where it gets even more difficult from the necessity of sharing resources. Just thinking about it's making me want to watch some 100% playthroughs now. It's such a shame that Tokyo Jungle reportedly flopped. A sequel would have been awesome to have, though again, the fact it's a Sony property is the only thing that would have held it back. I don't want to spend money on a PS4 just for one game. If I hadn't bought my PC though, then I'd more than likely have been all over a Tokyo Jungle 2. I would have loved to see them add gorillas, and a bigger selection of dinosaurs. Anyone else get to experience playing this? Which animal did you main, and how far did you get?

My Amazing Yamaguchi Gwen just arrived! And she's too good for words. I don't know why some people like to trash Revoltech's stuff, because this is worth every cent. I've never had a figure with so much articulation before. She's got full rotation on everything. Now granted... ... but everything else about her is flawless. Full flexibility, three masked heads with comically cute expressions, a wide assortment of alternate hands and three web lines. She's got it all. Time to start selling my old Legends Gwen. -
gaming Who's looking forward to Streets of Rage 4?
KillerKingBakudan posted a topic in Media Discussion
Of all the things I saw online after coming home from a grueling day at work, I did NOT expect this. I can't believe Sega's finally pulled their heads out of their asses and acknowledged people want a new Streets of Rage. Ask any old-schooler, and they'll tell you this is one of the best beat-em-up series ever. It's literally been 24 years, and since then, we've had nothing but ports for the old Genesis trilogy, mostly SoR2. I'm beyond stoked to see this, of course. And not just because the combat is looking to be just as good as it always was, or the Western comic-style art; the market needs more 2D beat-em-ups. This is a genre that has been almost totally forgotten, and for reasons that were completely unjustified. Beat-em-ups are quick and addictive, simple to play, yet highly strategic and challenging to master. And they get even better with co-op. It's the perfect arcade experience that always keeps you coming back for more. Because GAMEPLAY is what matters most, not hours of pointless cinematic bullshit. If this is getting a Steam release, this will be a day one pre-order for me. What say you all? -
Your Top 10 Street Fighter characters
KillerKingBakudan replied to KillerKingBakudan's topic in Media Discussion
I really like characters that shit all over this notion of honor between warriors, and Sharon's another one that fits the bill. Why fight your opponents when you can pull out a gun and shoot them? Lol. There's more to her than that of course, but I'm loving her character model in FEXL. She looked hot enough in Street Fighter EX, but this takes her to another level. That dress is very reminiscent of Ada Wong in Resident Evil 4. Arika, please put this on Steam. -
