I think the reason is because of tech, nowadays. Everybody does everything online, and on their iPhones, iPads, iPods, and computers. But art isn't useless. The device you're using to view this now? That's art, too. So is furniture, so are instruments, so is clothing. All of the world is art, just in different forms. We live on art! Well, that was cheesy. I really do mean it, though.
