  1. i noticed that too, and it's funny, i was just complaining recently that i felt like Twilight was starting to fall flat as a boring princess character, so i like how they managed to find something unnerving enough to unsettle her. i fortunately had mixed feelings about this episode, it almost felt like satire... in terms of a cohesive story, it can't be taken seriously at all, yet we have the threat of war upon us. there is war, but there is a lack of logic in the plot. this episode felt condensed and felt like it was trying to force comedy, while sacrificing the quality of drama in the process. while some of the bits were amusing, i felt disappointed that Pinkie's adventure became unrealistic, probably due to the realization the write staff could not fit a real adventure within the allotted time. though, i've seen vaguely similar situations in old school cartoons, gags that imply months or years of traveling or experiences went by, only within a matter of minutes to days, a very cheeky thing that distracts from anything serious. i'm all for joke and comic relief, but it bothers me when you have to sacrifice both map logic and time logic to make a joke. Appleloosa is south of Ponyville, Manehatten is northeast, Crystal Empire is straight north. also, has anyone ever questioned why the train system only had ponies pulling it for one episode in the entire series, but since Over A Barrel, train engines work normally? i feel like if this episode had more time, some of these world breaking jokes might have been left out, but knowing it's a Pinkie focused episode, i feel like the writers lazily are falling back on "Pinkie logic", so the deus ex machina, disregard of time and map locations, are all automatically pardoned for the sake of "Pinkie logic". i hate to say, i don't think this episode was funny enough to sacrifice the story's quality, and all for cheap gags and a moral that is merely "don't try to impress others by copying what they like, impress them with your own style". i don't know what i was expecting from a Pinkie Pie episode, but this is my least favorite Pinkie episode ever, it's only slightly more interesting than Appleloosa's Most Wanted, and due to it being so ridiculous on purpose, i can't be as upset with it as i was with Tanks For The Memories, but this is officially my third least favorite episode in season 5, i think the directors should go back to not writing episodes, and let the good writers write episodes from now on.
  2. that terrifying moment that Willing Suspension Of Disbelief is broken by unmistakable plot holes so deep that you can't continue walking through the story until you get out of it

  3. wow, a lot of comments to go through xD as for now, i have some thoughts pertaining to RD... she is only barely my favorite pony, i am between Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, pretty close to competing for number one, they all stand out in such a different way, so when i decided RD was my favorite, just based off the show alone wasn't enough, so over time as i started to like RD's character and saw all the epic things she could do, i started relating her character to other things that i think are awesome i think of RD like i think of power metal, now this is a little bit of a stretch, i admit, but there is a energy of RD that makes me think of the energy in most power metal songs, and even some lyrics vaguely make me think of RD, whether a song about flying, or a song about brotherhood and unity, or just songs about glory, makes me think of how awesome and epic RD is, to how awesome and epic power metal can be. my favorite songs that i like to tie to RD are Hunting High & Low by Stratovarius, Fury Of The Storm by Dragonforce, Fly by Blind Guardian, At The End Of The Rainbow by Hammerfall, and i would say No Bullets Fly by Sabaton, and though granted it is a very specific song about how the WWII German ace fighter plane pilot Franz Stigler was ordered to shoot down a heavily damaged American bomber plane, but instead for the sake of compassion and humane reasons, escorted the bomber back to safety and later in life became friends with the pilot of the American bomber plane aside from music, i also get a kick out of The Dreamer legendary shortbow in Guildwars 2, instead of arrows, it shoots like white unicorns that have the Arenanet logo as a cutie mark, but have rainbow colored mane and a rainbow trail as they fly out of the bow, i think someone at Arenanet must be a Brony, and it would make sense, GW2 didn't launch until late 2012, hehe at this point i wish the white unicorn could just be Rainbow Dash, but probably for obvious copyright reasons they are not allowed to do that, at least not without both spending a lot of money, and also fending off the anti-bronies who would take notice. also, i notice people like to debate RD's sexuality, but all we can ever have is speculation, she has never shown any romantic thought or interest about anypony, ever, so unlike Spike who is obviously crushing on Rarity, and Rarity who does think about handsome stallions, there is no other character that really expresses romantic interests, so speculation is all you have. granted, RD is a tomboy and has a rainbow theme, this is just as much a coincidence as Ronnie James Dio wearing leather and singing about Rainbows, but he was 100% straight. if RD ever starts to give indication of her sexuality in the show (which will most likely never happen), it's most likely going to go in a safe conservative "straight" direction (unless somehow Bryan Konietzko and/or Mike DiMartino join the MLP writer team, hehe). i'm personally fine them leaving RD as-is and just leave everything else for fanfics. the only thing i want out of the show (though equally as unrealistic as hoping for shipping) is metal. i want metal. i don't care what kind of metal, well, actually, i do care, lol, um, i want power metal ideally, but i am cool with any one of these subgenres: metalcore (sue me), deathcore (sue me twice), djent (sue me and stab me i don't care), melodic death metal, folk metal, technical death metal, progressive metal, 70s heavy metal, 80s heavy metal, groove metal, or symphonic metal that is not clearly defined as either power metal or prog metal. now noticed i left out glam and hair metal, this is because i consider those being borderline to just hard rock, and we already got a taste for that style already in The Show Stoppers. on top of all that, i want Ashleigh Belle to be the singer (and yes, i realize with some of the genres listed, that may not fly, lol) because i want RD to be the center of a metal song, she is metal, she is power metal (which is my ideal choice, aside from symphonic power metal/Symphonic prog metal), but even some old school heavy metal can do, but i would prefer like Dio or Iron Maiden style if it has to be old school, not that i have an issue with Rush, Led Zeppelin, or Black Sabbath, persay, but Rush is more prog rock than metal, Zeppelin is more down the lines of rock n roll than metal, and Sabbath are give and take borderline both early metal and hard rock. i think something down the lines of Dio, Metallica, Judas Priest, or Maiden would be the most pleasing if a heavy metal style was chosen. being a huge music nerd/geek before i became a brony, and subgenres of metal and -core being my main genres i flock to, i hope some of you can sympathize with me when Rainbow Rocks went the entire movie making RD look like a badass, and Sunset getting a Flying V guitar at the end, and not a single hint of metal... oh, we got a couple characters who either looked hardcore punk, or thrash metal, we got badass looking guitars, but no metal, nope, nope, nope, and considering my conception of RD, i was really hoping for at least one bone, just one itty bitty glimpse of metal in MLP, but no, i was denied, for the sake of the lowest common denominator, as if kids of any age would be scared or disgusted by double bass and distorted guitars. RD is so metal, she is too metal, and this isn't just about me wanting her band in EqG to be metal, i am totally cool with artists being eclectic, i encourage it, and though Dragonforce is a terrible example, they are a guilty pleasure, but still, bands like Blind Guardian who made baroque and piano ballads, while still having driving, strong, powerful metal melodies, to bands like Pierce the Veil, ranging from melodic metalcore, post-hardcore, to basically alt rock and pop rock, one song of which with auto-tune (lol, The Painter <3 hehe). so i will say that obviously Rainbow Rocks was more diverse than the first movie, but it could have gone further! the style of RD and her guitar totally left this possibility open, and it's not like i am asking Ashleigh Bell to scream into a microphone, you do not always have to have excess in the world of power metal. as long as you have melodic, but distorted, power chord progressions, complex and or fast drums, and guitar and or keyboard soloes, with or without keyboard symphonics, you have a power metal song, tada! if you listened to Roy Khan's voice from Kamelot, a prog/power metal band that utilizes keyboards for piano and symphonics, you will notice his voice is not very "metal", he has a soft, yet somewhat driving voice, that has a bit of operatic vibrato, and by himself is not a very intense singer, but the music behind him in a lot of songs is what creates the "power metal" edge. to be honest, even if "power metal" is not completely achieved, i would be happy enough without the double bass, if there is at least a "symphonic metal" approach, which the show has had the basic elements to achieve this in both the EqG and mane show! but instead of having more prominent drums and guitar, it's just the "symphonic" element present, you can keep the keyboards and vocals the way they are, i just want to hear the pound of real life drums and strong distorted guitars. i realize my cries are in vain and will be crushed aside as i am a severe minority in my feelings, but i love RD, and i long to express myself through power metal in her honor, which is is why even if the show refuses my indulgence, i shall indulge myself, for i have written lyrics for a RD power metal song, and i am struggling to write guitar now for the song too, hehe xD i am not the best guitarist btw, but i shall try to get this song made someday i hope <3 maybe most-epic so far, but then again, i haven't decided if i plan to make a RD PMV myself yet, since no other power metal brony seems to have yet. it would so much work, i would need every last clip of RD being awesome, and that would require so much file hoarding ~sigh~ but yeah, i dig The Offspring, but this tempo/pitch shift was kinda offputting i think xD now, i don't want to get too excited, but if i did do a RD PMV, it has to be either Hunting High & Low by Stratovarious, or Fury Of The Storm by Dragonforce \m/, ,\m/ i don't know how you feel about that, but i think the word "epic" would definitely apply to either of those songs, though one of them are clearly longer and faster. "I feel the wind in my hair and it's whispering, telling me things of the storm that is gathering near full of power, I'm spreading my wings now I'm leaving my worries behind feel the freedom of body and mind I have started my journey I'm drifting away with the wind, I go... I am hunting high and low diving from the sky above looking for more and more, once again I'm hunting high and low sometimes I may win, sometimes I'll lose It's just a game that I play" - Stratovarius - Hunting High & Low "one wings of glory, we will carry on! far across forgotten lands, toward the distant sun! and in the darkness, shining far beyond the starlight lightning is striking from the dark dawning shadows! and in the kingdom of the everlasting sun when the glory of the master's time has come! into the fires of forever, we will fly through the heavens with the power of the universe, we'll stand strong together! through the forced of power, we will soon reach the hour for victory we ride, fury of the storm!" - Dragonforce - Fury Of The Storm those songs get me so pumped up especially the DF song, hehe <3
  4. don't know if anyone went beyond the electronic genres yet, i have yet to sift through all 23 pages, but i figure i should represent the metal community with some Ponyforce and Equestrian Lord \m/,

ahahaha... ahaha... omg, that ship is a thing? xD i don't even... man, wow.. just wow...

no, i mean like Jerry Peet and Joshscorcher tearing Double Rainboom down like it's complete trash, and people hating on Fall Of The Crystal Empire like it had no merit.

  6. i haven't seen much of in depth reviews of EqG until today when i saw Silver Quill's review... he pointed out things that i either took with a grain of salt, or plot holes that i blissfully ignored completely, but because of this, i've become shaken and now have a better understanding why other people hated this movie though i feel it notched the first movie down for me, i can't deny that i still enjoyed the movie for what it is, but now i also feel like it could have been done way better, with more plot elaboration, plot progression, and setup. considering Meghan McCarthy wrote this movie, i would have thought she was better at covering her bases than this, and i was blind to it the first time around, but maybe Meghan isn't the perfect writer i thought she was. either way, i don't hate the movie, despite all the things i recently realized, but it does put me into mixed feelings territory
  7. okays ~hugs~ even though i'm broke, i hope that others will buy and love your plushies <3
  8. i'm the only brony who liked Too Many Pinkie Pies (at least the only MLP analyst) :okiedokielokie: maybe i'm ahead of myself, but i recall a couple of my favorite reviewers disliking this episode, but i liked this episode, and i love how they determined who the real Slim Shady, i mean... the real Pinky Pie was
  9. oh wow, i feel so stupid xD by the way, i love the Pinkity picture, it super cute
  10. i know that half of everyone probably posted the hell out of the mustache gag, but it's one of my favorite scenes
  11. is that a store bought plush? looks like Japanese characters of some sort, is that made in Japan? looks pretty accurate, not bad if that was made for stores
  12. i'm sorry i didn't realize the overhead could be so extreme, though i suppose some people who maybe take shortcuts or maybe have better luck don't mind charging less, after hearing your story, i feel kinda bad for complaining. but from my side of things, i felt like it was an ultimatum, it's like "buy Hasbro's stupid halfassed plushie for 25 dollars, or save up a month of work checks to get a fanmade plushie". i am somewhat sympathetic though, i realize there is a similar thing with Katanas, you can get cheap katanas for 100 dollars, but if you want fancy, hand made, 2,000 folded katanas, those go for thousands+, even tens of thousands depending on how intricate they are. so i am very sorry, and i am a sad face to know how you struggle but i think if i was better off in life and didn't live check to check, i wouldn't mind spending that kind of money on a plushie, though i probably would want an autographed photo of the plushie artist holding the plushie if i was paying 100+ for one hehe! but anyways, my issue is resolved, i don't know how 4ed makes decent looking plushies for that low of price, but i don't dare to ask, for fear of jinxing myself. i have to confess something, and granted, i was emotional last night because one of my online friends blocked me for no given reason other than "social suicide", he wouldn't elaborate, but then i looked up plushies, without knowing about 4ed, and i was just pining over these fan mades, they looked so good and soooo out of my capable purchasing power... then i looked at Hasbro's plushies... then i cried... and cried... and cried until i fell asleep and took a nap... i felt so "cornered", like a part of me really wanted something, but knew i could never afford it, at least not in my current living situation. i still haven't gotten my plushie yet, but i'll be the judge of the quality, probably not as perfect as some fan mades, but from the pics, it looks better than what Hasbro can pull off. as for you and all the fan plushie makers, i'm sorry that i am pathetic and poor, if i ever get on my two feet into a career someday, if that ever happens, i will invest into a fan made plushie, but for now this is just wishful thinking. again, i'm sorry that i was complaining previously, i am sad and pathetic, but don't let me bring you down, follow your dreams of making cool plushies, and i hope that you can find buyers someday soon ~hug~

  14. i also bought a RD, i am so happy considering that fans charge so much, but i can somewhat understand, considering all the work and time that goes into it, i don't think 50 or 60 dollars is extreme, but i'll granted, without a steady job i wouldn't even pay that much, lol.. since i have some money saved up from my sporadic job i barely make 200 dollars a month with, i decided to jump on this 4de site to get a RD. i kinda want a Twilight Sparkle too, but i don't want to go crazy with my money right away. i also might want a Fluttershy... ooo, dammit, i think i became a Brony, i tried so hard to deny it, but i think i am official a Brony now reading fanfics, buying t-shirts, watching episode reviews, on this forum more than i am on facebook, i think i can't deny my Bronisms any longer, i have been lying to myself, i said "well, it's only watching the show", "well, it's only watching reviews", "well, it's only buying 2 t-shirts", "well, it's only watching half of every fanmade videos that exists", "well, it's only reading a few fanfictions", "well, it's only a forum to go talk to bronies", "i swear, it's impossible, i can't be a brony!" and now, some memes!
  15. this is pretty cool though i don't know if i am good enough to participate, i have not mastered the art of Pink, but i suppose i can try to at least pop in, say hello, and then i'll wear this mustache
  16. oh my god... this is amazing... i almost can't believe it i have to jump on this! thanks so much for forwarding me to this site
  17. i'm really sad about this, i actually cried after finding someone on DA who made some of the coolest plushies i've ever seen, but is charging like 200-2,000 dollars for them... (i mean, the 2,000 dollar one was a lifesized Rainbow Dash, so that is somewhat understandable, but wow, 2 grand, that is more than what my computer and iphone is worth combined!). i am sooooo envious of these people with Rainbow Dash being my favorite pony, i think i am screwed, because after realizing the costs are determined by materials, and the explanations given, i am basically looking at a high price no matter what i do... now i hate myself for loving RD so much... and like, i like Twilight Sparkle a lot too, but she is a "safe" character at this point, she isn't quite a Mary Sue, but she doesn't get the same dramatic reaction as RD does, like, RD stands out, sometimes in a bad way, but because she can be such an arrogant fool, and sometimes does not-so-good things to her friends, yet still having some visible conscious of right and wrong, i find her to be a fun and epic sort of hero, or borderline anti-hero in some cases, but still mostly hero. not to mention she looks awesome, and does awesome stuff, she is 20% cooler than any other pony, and i've seen the Hasbro plushies... does Hasbro make things half-assed on purpose to make us want to hate them? they can make it up to us by making D&D 6th Edition: My Little Pony: Adventures In Equestria, now that sounds like a brillian idea, they could even call it Dungeons & Ponies, you know, since Hasbro bought out Wizardsofthecoast, might as well milk every idea they can get. who knows, maybe that will finally outshine Pathfinder well anyways... i'm gonna go cry in a corner some more about how poor i am and how i need to get a new job so i can bleed money to have a RD doll someday that doesn't suck #BlameHasbro
  18. i like it when Fluttershy says "yay!", it's so cute
  19. well, not exactly what i was looking for an answer, but good enough
  20. dear rarity, your dresses are amazing, my question for rarity is "what season is your favorite season for fashion?"
  21. i will agree that i loved this movie, but do not get me wrong, i didn't think the first EqG was bad either, in fact, compared to some canon episodes of the mane show, i liked the EqG movie by a lot in comparison. aside from a sort of flat and predictable antagonist, i didn't have that much issue with the plot or setup, and though i wasn't fond of the songs, it was still more bearable than the S3 finale, Magical Mystery Cure ~thanks M.A. Larson~ grrrr! i don't know, i obviously liked the sequel more, and there are certainly obvious reasons, but i can't help but to defend the first movie, and i wouldn't have watched Rainbow Rocks without seeing the first movie anyway. i'm of few people who apparently doesn't hate Flash Sentry, and i would totally ship them (why not? i mean, i'd rather be with Twilight Sparkle myself, but realistically that isn't going to happen, lol). hmmm, well, i don't know off hand what other issues aside from Sunset Shimmer's villain persona, that people had with the first movie, and i personally had no more issue with the music than with half of any other canon song (i honestly just don't care, i listen to metal and hardcore, almost all of MLP's music is like background noise to me, i don't like sing songs and i generally hate musicals, unless it's DETHKLOK, then it's okay, lol). but mainly, i just like EqG altogether, and though i liked Rainbow Rocks a lot more, it's not like "that much more", it more like about 20% cooler for me xD i know, obvious meme is obvious, but i can at least back up saying "20%) because i gave the first movie 4/5 on Netflix, and RR a 5/5, so i did literally rate RR 20% higher than the first EqG, hehe and also, though i've said this before, i wish there was at least one metal song, i mean, it's only fair, it's like going to a bar, i'll tolerate your Kanye West, tolerate your Ke$ha, tolerate your [insert any country star name here who isn't Johnny Cash], tolerate new school Green Day, tolerate Linkin Park's 1,000 Suns album, but then, BUT THEN.. after i hear all your country, pop rap, pop rock, and LP's worst album, i want to hear some Dragonforce, BABYMETAL, Blind Guardian, Sabaton, and whatever else i can find on your jukebox! xD i digress, i realize this is Habro studios working on a kids movie, and kids movies can't have metal music, because the obviously SATAN excuse. and it's not like all metal lyrics have to be brutal or mature, Dragonforce though overdramatic, cheesy, and sometimes reference Hell as a place, or use the word "Damned" but in it's literally context, is about as brutal as your average Disney Movie.. which i guess is still more brutal than MLP, now that i think about it... even so, you can make anything into metal, it doesn't even have to be overtly aggressive to pass for symphonic and or power metal, i could totally make a youth-accessible power metal song, just take Dragonforce, remove any trace of over-dramaticism and wars, and remove any possible instance of "Hell" or "Damned", boom, kid friendly power metal song, now the parents just have to worry about sitting through a 3 minute dueling guitar solo, lol... i'm kidding, i'm saying "like Dragonforce", because i can't expect normal people to sit through an actual 7-10 minute DF song without driving them insane with 4-5 minutes of blast beats and 3 minute solos, but hey, don't forget that they have a 3 minute song called Strike Of The Ninja (i know, shortest DF song ever!). whatever it make be like though, i think it should be a Rainbow Dash song, everything about RD makes me think of power metal, her confidence, her loyalty, her willingness to go and slay dragons (hence, Dragonshy), RD is soooo power metal, you have no idea! i realize i'm basically flailing in the wind with this idea, but i still stand by it wholeheartedly, i seriously 100% believe you can pull off a somewhat accessible power metal song, just make it short and sweet, limit the blast beats a tad, and keep the solo reasonably length, along with perfectly understood female vocals, boom, easy as pie <3
  22. oh okays, i guess i remained ignorant to this info, since my first impression was just the Cupcakes fanfic, so i tried avoiding anything else with the Pinkamena tag. i'm sorry that i was a fool thank you for bringing this up. is there any decent fanfic you can suggest of Pinkamena?
  23. i really liked it, so much that i think this is probably my favorite project in this whole franchise now... but.. i have such a varied opinion about this movie compared to so many, i feel awkward that i can't completely relate, and as much as i would feel like debunking any issues with the plot, i honestly don't think any of it was that big of deal (and besides, at least M.A. Larson and Cindy Morrow had nothing to do with this movie, then you would reeeeaaaally see problems). so sure, wasn't a perfect movie, but like the first EqG, it had a lot of entertaining moments, and i think this movie topped it in quality of writing, even if there are a couple minor details, that i don't really think are major enough to cry over. also, am i the only one who liked the rocks songs? i skimmed the comments, and everyone loves The Siren's Song (ha, esoteric pun that no one is going to get because i'm the only one who listens to metalcore here), but then everyone dislikes the other songs in the movie, i feel... alone in fact, a lot of those rock songs were pop rock, now if i had written the songs, hehe, heh, muaha, meuuahahaha, MAEUEHAHAAHAHAHA! they would have been metal as f~yay~ck! but oh well, i still dig the setup for what it was, but it was such a tease seeing a flying V guitar at the end, and RD looks so metal, ugh! the ending song could have been metal, it's the credits, no one would have cared! except for me :'( i would have loved a metal end credits song <3 in fact, ever since i learned about PonyForce on youtube, i thought to myself "what instruments would the mane six play as a power metal group, like DragonForce?"... i came to some similar conclusions, RD has to be both singer and lead guitar, because she is awesome, also because i've heard her singing voice, and compared to every other pony, i believe she is the only one who could get close to singing in a power metal oriented voice, like something between DragonForce, Nightwish, and Leave's Eyes. also, RD's guitar has got to be either a King V, or Randy Roads V guitar, with ebony fretboard, dark blue sunburst body and similar head, with 7 rainbow colored triangle inlays at each major fret, but then a fancier inlay of her cutie mark that goes vertical with the fretboard around the 15th to 19th fret, and also her cutie mark, if a King V, will have a cloud partially in the bridge, with two of her styled lightning bolts aiming to the sharp points of the guitar. though, actually i found a picture i like also, i would settle for RD's guitar being a Flying V that is styled like this... but yeah, anyways, RD guitarist and singer, check, but power metal is actually really hard to sing and play at the same time, so RD realistically should only play guitar solos, but don't worry, i have my bases figured out for the other positions Rarity is keyboardist, this makes sense just because keyboards are more of a sensitive role in power metal, playing piano interludes, and applying symphonic melodies over the rhythm, this seem to best suit Rarity. she can keep using the keytar (i mean, Vadim from Dragonforce uses one sometimes too), it can be pearly colored with her gem marks over it and stuff, pretty much like the movie already, but i want it to be a bit more flashy, maybe have a couple purple streaks on it. Fluttershy is bassist, because you can't play a tambourine in power metal, but don't worry, bass is still a pretty humble position, the bassist of Mindless Self Indulgence, Lyn Z, has terrible crippling stage fright, but she deals with it by not making eye contact with the audience, and has no singing roles. i felt like this related to Fluttershy a lot, so i made that connection also, i feel like the bass guitar shouldn't be too flashy, for fear to attract too much attention, so something Fender P-Bass with yellow paint job, maple fretboard with small butterfly inlays, and if i may be bold to say a pink butterfly headstock that is symmetrically designed well enough to have the tuning nuts 1, 2, and 1, 2 on each side of the head. and you know what, moar butterflies, like 3 painted on the bass body near a corner. Applejack is drummer, and as much as i dig the semi-acoustic bass guitar she had in the movie, i felt like drums was also something she would be good at, you know, considering she has the stamina to kick trees without little to no sleep, and that is a trait for a drummer, stamina, especially in power metal, because you have to use both feet to kick the drums for "blast beats" and double bass, a lot, especially if we're talking about "Dragonforce" kind of power metal, where every song except for ballads have double bass and blast beats, lol. as for drum design, well, i was thinking "barrels" for the drums, with apple symbols? i mean, what else? xD i originally had planned Pinkie Pie to be rhythm guitars, but after seeing the movie, i changed my mind to Sunset Shimmer, for obvious reasons. instead of an ugly green Flying V, Sunset should have a yellow to red sunburst Gibson SG guitar, as for head and inlays, um, idk, i haven't thought about it much, but how about, red, orange, yellow circle inlays, and then have Sunset's cutie mark on the headstock. so with this lineup RD: lead singer, lead guitar Sunset: rhythm guitar, backing vocals Rarity: keyboards, backing vocals, outfits Applejack: drums, percussion Fluttershy: bass... just bass Pinkie Pie: lighting, props, backstage food Twilight: band management, mixer/sound technician/soundchecker and that would be my perfect setup for a power metal spinoff, and i already wrote lyrics for the first song i had in mind, but i have honestly got severely sidetracked at this point, hehe, oh boy... i don't want to delete all this either, so i will just digress. i loved this Rainbow Rocks movie, and though i would have loved it more if it had metal music, at least a little, i still find this to be one of my favorite kids cartoon movie of all time, yes, i went there (sorry Miyazaki, Princess Mononoke can't compete with this one)
  24. finally watched Rainbow Rocks :-) can't think of a single complaint (though, i wanted metal songs, not a complaint, just a preference, lol)

omg yes! :D i was surprised that Natasha Levinger wrote that episode, considering how dull the Breezie episode was that she wrote. to be honest, i thought Dave Polski was one of the more comedy oriented writers, and yet Apploosa's Most Wanted fell flat for comedy, it would have been more believable if Natasha wrote that one, and then Dave being credited for Make Friends/Keep Discord. ~shrugs~
