Well hello everyone! We of the Legacy of Harmony Project are looking for a few more people to help complete our team! Firstly though, I'll give a little explanation of what we are planning on/already doing. Legacy of Harmony is going to be a pen and paper table top role playing game that will allow players the ability to make their own original characters, or even use canon characters, and go on grand adventures! Friendship, magic, and (probably) some combat all involved! We are making a new system for the game to help streamline getting everyone from beginners to hardcore TTRPG players into the game and having fun as fast as possible. The system we are creating will be used for other games as well, we hope, but we are focusing on the MLP expansion/edition first because it's where all the magic started. We've been to Bronycon as panelists for over three years now and are starting to branch out to a few other conventions. Currently we are setting the last few bits of the system in place, working on lore, and world building the final draft alpha build. On to what we need! There'll be a form at the bottom you can copy and paste to fill out. Skills we are looking for: Artist(s) (We are looking to have several different art styles featured, so if you can do multiple styles even better!) Web Designer If you're interested but don't see anything with your skills, feel free to check back later! More might be added as we grow! Or feel free to fill out the form! Please remember that we are working hard on this and are in the early development stages. Before joining the team, or doing contract/commissions for us, there will be an interview or several interviews by myself and possibly other team members. PM me or leave any questions below. The form itself: (Some of the questions here can be considered private, so please copy this form and PM it with your answers to me) What skill do we need that you have? Do you have a portfolio/examples we can look at? What other skills do you have that you think that could be beneficial for the development of the game? Where do you live? Are you able to join us for panels at conventions? What would you like to get out of working with/for us? Would you prefer to do commission work or contract work or apply to be a permanent team member? As stated above, please copy and paste those questions in a PM to me and answer them to the best of your abilities! Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully I will talk to you soon! :scoots:

Thinking of getting a tattoo
Sanies replied to Luna_tic's topic in Trixie's Tricks (Other Resources)
As someone with several tattoos, I have a few recommendations if you don't mind hearing them That's a very detailed picture you've chosen, so to get the most out of it it's going to have to be pretty large. I'd recommend a back/chest/ or lower leg. UV ink is a good suggestion, but also a bit more expensive and the long term effects from it are just now getting looked into. I don't mean negative health effects or anything, but fading and other just look things. Also an important aspect to consider is the tattoo artist, you should research the ones in your town and find the most honestly priced and great at their job ones. Hope that helps!- 13 replies

While we've been around for a while, we have just started working on the base things we need... like a website, haha. We will have a facebook group page up soon, and a website in the short future. A little before next year's Bronycon is when our kickstarter/go campaign will start but we SHOULD have starter boxes for sale at the convention by then!

Oh, good questions! 1. Leatherman 2. CLS pack 3. Cooking pot I know the last is silly... but you can boil and clean water in it, cook in it, and use it for a variety of purposes. My Leatherman is the Surge model and has a everything from scissors to a saw blade. I still have my issued Combat Life Saver pack, so I'd bring that for medical purposes.

Thanks for checking out this post! I'm Sanies, and I'm a developer with the Legacy of Harmony project group. We are working on a table-top game for My Little Pony and we would like your feedback! If you have the time, and interest, we'd love to hear from you! So on to the questions! What races would you like to see? Would you prefer progession-style play(Making a character and leveling it up from 1-whatever), or one hitters(take a premade charactersheet/make a character, and just play one 3-4 hour session)? What are THREE elements from the show that MUST be in the game? (Examples: silliness, puns, canon characters) Would you rather have an original character, or play a canon character? How do you prefer your coffee? (We have an ongoing argument and I need to win) Optional questions: Have you played pen and paper RPGs before? If you were to choose a system, what was easiest to play if you have played TTRPGs? If you were interested in a Brony exclusive starter set, what would you like to see in it? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and even more if you don't mind responding to it! We plan on posting a lot of content here and working closely with anyone who would like to help our development process! We will be attending quite a few conventions that are close to the East Coast/Central US, if you'd like to play with us! If you have any questions, comments, or questions feel free to PM me or leave it here! Thanks again, Sanies

Pokemondays? What's that? Also, I know almost nothing of Pokemon other than the original 151, which I used to be able to quote in alphabetical order and pokedex id number in the school lunch room haha!

Game Development and Design Major
Sanies replied to Cherry_Bloom's topic in Trixie's Tricks (Other Resources)
Codecademy is a great free site to start learning coding, by the way! But there are many other parts of game design, I personally studied game development and prefer the structure/story building and world building, but I also do some 3D design work. What kinds of games do you want to design? Board games, video games, table top games? If it's video games, which seems to be what you're looking for, do you want in browser games or a download and play? Unity, as AppleCore suggested, is a good start for both of those. You can find plenty of youtube tutorials on it and it can be as simple or almost as complex as you want! Also, check humblebundle out every once in a while! I got a few game design engines for only $4 a couple month back! Hope this helps! -
My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Applejack How did you find MLP Forums?: I found it via Google! How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Well, the group of friends that brought me into our project always talked about it and kept telling me to watch specific episodes. I never really did. Then I went to Bronycon to GM for Legacy of Harmony and realized how behind and uninformed I was. I had to correct that, and here I am! I am one of the developers of the Stable-top Game Legacy of Harmony, a MLP inspired pen and paper table top game that has been at Bronycon for over three years now! We are in our "closed alpha" stages at the moment - working on creating our company, getting the legal stuff taken care of, and most importantly: finishing and producing the system! I'm going to be honest with all of you here, I was brought in for my experience as a Game Master with over a dozen different systems and my game design work. I don't know much about My Little Pony. But! I am changing that. I've been watching the show and now I am here to dive in and talk with all of you! Please don't be alarmed if I ask questions that seem amateurish or ignorant, I don't mean it! And lastly, feel free to message me any question, comment, or idea! -Sanies
