My mom likes the Apple Family in general. She finds the running gag with Big Mac's "Eeyup" hilarious too.

This episode was alright. I disliked the fact that the rest of the Mane 6 were so inconsiderate to Twilight's feelings in this episode. They somewhat made up for it in the end, but it was not explicitly addressed well. Nonetheless, the message was very good. Jealousy is a real thing in friendships, and it was good that they addressed it. I think the fact that this episode rubs many of us off in the wrong way means that the writers did a good job of making us empathize with Twilight and her struggle. Also, this episode further solidified the fact that though Twilight is the Princess of Friendship, she is definitely not perfect. When bronies first heard of Twilight becoming a princess, weren't at least a handful of them afraid that she'd become some sort of Mary Sue? Well, this episode definitely emphasizes the fact that this is not the case. A good friend of my on another forum mentioned how Discord had these same feelings of jealousy in "Make New Friends but Keep Discord". We've seen in episodes like "Three's A Crowd" that Discord likes to give Twilight twisted tests, so this is no different from that. The difference that make this episode seem "worse" is that Twilight had a worse struggle. Overall, I don't think that this episode was bad. It's not my favorite S5 episode so far, but that doesn't mean it's not good.

I don't know if it differs between platforms, but the number of parasprite swarms caps at 5 on the iOS version. Usually, the parasprites/changelings/vampire fruit bats regenerate every 24 hours or so, but sometimes they won't just because. So for me, this event was all based on whether or not the game was feeling nice to me. I never heard of those apps before. Are they on iOS as well?

So the parasprite competition. That was not cool. Only the cheaters really had a chance in that. Maybe this competition was made so that they could find all the cheaters. Who knows. Yeah, I haven't had any new quests there either. Maybe you need Cadance for the rest of the missions to appear or something? I dunno. They removed some of the older quests that were there before the last update because they were too difficult. (For example, you needed Twilight's Dad, who was worth a significant amount of gems before). So if they made a mistake while doing that, it'll be fixed in the next update.

I don't exactly hate Equestria Girls, but I don't really like it either. The only really awesome quality for me in this series is the music.

I don't think she was solely meant to be Twilight's mentor--just for anypony who was going on an adventure. So it's still possible for the CMCs (and anypony really) to get help from her whenever the next adventure-related episode comes around.

I think it was mentioned in this video, but Zecora was designed to be like a "mentor" for the adventure stories that were supposed to occur pretty often in MLP. But since a lot of episodes are more "slice of life" than "adventure", her character isn't really necessary. Though I do hope for her to come back. She's pretty awesome.

I'd probably be loud and obnoxious. Pretty mean-spirited too.

Twilight Sparkle was looking through online databases since they're chock full of information.

I think they're a good couple. From what we've seen of them so far, they have set a good example of a supportive and loving relationship.
