Hello, everypony! As many of you have probably noticed, the Gallery button at the top of the forums has been missing for the past few days. This is because the Gallery was taken down to either go through a revamp or simply be removed all together. In the end, the latter option was chosen, and as of this time, the Gallery is most likely not going to return. But fret not, everypony! We've got something better in its place! I am happy to announce the Official MLP Forums deviantArt group! Bringing you the best of both worlds, this group is officially sponsored and run by MLP Forums staff and won't divide attention to your art between the forums and the world of dA. The MLP Forums deviantArt group is only available to join if you are a member of the forums, so if you wish to join it, do not forget to state who you are from the forums on your Membership Application at dA! We also ask that you thoroughly read the rules for posting art there. They're not very surprising rules, and they're easy to follow, so it won't hurt to look them over. If you don't have a deviantArt account nor plan to make one and still wish to post art for the forum to see, we still have Octavia's Hall to serve that function just as well as it did before. If you wish to post your art up in Octavia's Hall and already have it posted onto deviantArt, then we have a bit of an exciting feature to show off! Introducing the dA BBCode! When you wish to show off art here on the forums that you've already uploaded onto deviantArt (whether it's in our group already or not), you can now use the dA BBCode! [da] ID Number of your Deviation [/da] For those who don't know, your deviation ID Number is at the end of the URL for any given deviation. You use the Report button on a post to send it directly to the attention of the moderators anonymously. Otherwise it breaks the rule of backseat moderating if that's all that your post was about. We do appreciate you being helpful, but we try to keep threads as on-topic as possible, and a post that isn't about the topic itself at all, even if meant well, isn't exactly on-topic, you know? Remember, everypony. The Report button is the key to helping the staff have an easier time and your fellow members have more fun in a better forum environment! If something's wrong, report it like Tich said!

This is actually true. If you're a hermit in a cave your chances of becoming a moderator increase by at least 15%. But, honestly, there is no 'way' to become a moderator on the forums. If a moderator is needed, then Feld0 will choose the person he feels is best for the job. Obviously you would have to be nice to become a mod, but you should be nice anyway.

I've noticed around the interwebs that several people were vectoring Fluttershy's 'Heroic/Triumphant' pose from Hurricane Fluttershy. After seeing a few of these, I decided to make my own, and then I thought to myself: She should be wearing a jacket like a true aviator! Say hello to Aviator Fluttershy! I plan to make a version with a helmet soon. :3

Badges aren't technically 'important', so I won't be putting together a chart on when you get them and what they all are, because I feel that it kind of defeats part of their purpose if you know what all of them are and when you'll get them just from a list.

Hello, everypony! Nico here, to announce the release of MLP Forum's official 'Rank Badges'! If you'll take notice of the left side of posts, there are now these colorful little pictures underneath everypony's avatar displaying your current 'rank' on the forums! Ranging from Blank Flank medals to Ponies themselves, there are many badges for you to discover with your time here on MLP Forums, and we hope that it'll be exciting for everyone to see their rank slowly evolve over time. I won't be listing all of the ranks here on the thread, as I feel it's just another great sense of discovery to figure out the hierarchy of them on your own. As for these badges being created, the actual badge titles were thought up by Feld0, with it being my duty to design each of them. Special thanks to Grendo, as well, for having contributed a particular badge based on one of Fluttershy's woodland friends, the Squirrel. I do my best to save Feld0's server space when I can, so I only attach or upload gallery images of pictures that are needed to be high quality. Since these are just silly and for fun, I think IMGUR's compression will be okay. Thanks, I think she rather enjoyed herself, too! Not to mention that just her being there appears to have frozen Arylett in time!

Wow, has it been a long time since I've made a thread in Octavia's Hall or what? *Waits for a moment* Okay, so it's been a long time since I've made a thread at all. But guess what? Nico's here to throw some questionable quality "Ponies I(n) R(eal) L(ife)" pictures at you! This will be my go-to thread for posting any Ponies in Reality images for the foreseeable future. Please excuse the image quality, but IMGUR just loves to take my images and compress them into medium quality JPEG's. To start things off, here we have Pinkie Pie helping Arylett blow out her candle on her birthday cake! And here we have another version where Pinkie is simply having fun in the background! Please let me know what you think! I'd love to hear opinions on my work, though keep in mind that, at the moment, these are pretty quick jobs and could easily be improved with a little time and care, so try not to be too harsh. Okie dokie, so I went ahead and dug out my Lyra Photobomb pics from the old Cloudsdale thread, too.

I don't want to take credit where it isn't due, Kyronea. The background is just a modified version of the daytime image created by Kurtiss/Grendo and designed by Feld0, so it is far from all my doing. Thank you for the compliment either way, It's good to know that so many ponies are enjoying the night theme!

The problem is back for me, now, too. Hmmm... This puts a kink in a pretty good plan for a nifty background. I'll look into it further, but I can't guarantee much. Edit: Okay, from what I can tell it's not an issue that can be fixed on my end, as I've done pretty much all I can do as far as tuning up my browser a bit. I'm supposing Feld0 will have to look into why this is happening, sadly.

I got this same problem, and it was fixed by simply clearing my cache. Try that and then see if it works.
