  1. I love moths, they're so pretty! And my favorite deity is a moth!
  2. I like Pinkie with Fluttershy's colors and Rainbow with AJ's colors.
  3. I hope we get shoo-be-dooed, I seriously love that song!
  4. The Lion King, definitely. No other animated film has captivated me like that one has. Some runners-up include Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, Princess Mononoke, and All Dogs go to Heaven.
  5. I miss her. It would be nice for her to finally get a little time in the spotlight.
  6. What a great episode! So nice to finally get some more characterization for Lapis, and that was quite a doozy of a backstory. It makes me wonder, why did the Crystal Gems never help her (before Steven did, of course)?
  7. 25 years and my life is still Trying to get up that great big hill Of hope For a destination
  8. I second Star vs probably being better than MLP, and I've yet to dig into Gravity Falls, but it probably is as well. I'm not trying to knock MLP, it's a great show, and sets a high bar for other shows to live up to. The fact that other shows exceed said bar is simply a testament to their greatness.
  9. I see a whole bunch of stupid babies in adult bodies, and James Rolfe isn't one of them.
  10. I'm a woman and I refuse to go see this. Not because of the gender of the leads, I don't give a fuck about that. But because it looks like a bad film, probably not even enjoyably bad. And the response to James' video just seals the deal for me. There was nothing sexist whatsoever in James' vid, and it's completely idiotic to act as though someone is sexist just because they don't want to see one movie that happens to star women. I'm a feminist for fuck's sake, and I don't want to see it.
  11. Really glad I stuck with French through high school and college. New Steven Universe episodes are planned to air in France before they air in the US, and assuming they won't be too difficult to find online, I'm just like "Aww yiss!"
  12. There is so much untapped potential. Tons of new places to explore, tons of characters who haven't gotten nearly enough development. The show does have plenty it could potentially build off of... However, part of me is doubtful that it will. We had the excuse to go to a ton of new places with the Cutie Map, and it only got used a few times. Who knows whether the movie will end it or not, but if it doesn't, they really need to do a lot more with their world to keep it fresh. I will say, though, that all signs point towards me loving the movie, so I would love if the show ended on such a high note, rather than becoming unbearably stale.
  13. Best: Invader Zim Avatar: the Last Airbender The Legend of Korra Rugrats First few seasons of Spongebob Hey Arnold All That Kenan and Kel Amanda Show Drake and Josh Worst: Sanjay and Craig Breadwinners Mr. Meaty Fanboy and Chum Chum Pig Goat Banana Cricket Nick Studio 10 FRED You know, it really sucks that all the shows on my worst list are modern shows. But they're so bad, they make Rocket Power look good. I've heard good things about Harvey Beaks and The Loud House, though, so hopefully things will look brighter in the future.
  14. Pirate ponies could possibly attract a male audience maybe?? Idk though, it should do its own thing and whoever wants to see it, will.
  15. That is very cute. Outfit has just a bit much going on, could stand to lose the belt and bowtie. Sometimes simplicity is nicer.
  16. In the eyes of Hasbro, this is more than just a movie. DVD and especially toy sales will factor in heavily. So even if it doesn't make much at the box office, if toys sell well enough, it's still a success. It really doesn't have to achieve much, so there's not much chance of it underperforming.
  17. Wiped out. I got plenty of sleep, but it doesn't seem to have helped much. These chemo pills hit hard sometimes. Still gonna go with my mom to the market in a few hours, though. Think I can handle that much.
  18. Just sittin here kinda dead because I woke up recently, after I got a little sleep-addicted. Sometimes I wake up and I just keep feeling like going back to sleep, like I've gotten over eight hours but I just end up wanting to sleep more and more and more xD
  19. Oh lordy, I'd write a book if I listed all my favorite cartoons besides MLP. I may have been born in 1990 but my favorites range from stuff made in the 30s to today. Popeye, Disney shorts, classics like the Flintstones, Tom and Jerry, etc. Then, you've got all those Nicktoons from 1991-2004 or so, Nick's golden age. There are only a few from that I dislike. And you've also got the golden age of Cartoon Network originals, your Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, etc. Then you've got other stuff like Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs and Garfield and Friends and the first seasons of Pokemon and Digimon. Then you've got Disney Channel cartoons, from Talespin to Kim Possible. I don't think I realized until now just how widespread my taste in cartoons is, lol. I will admit, while MLP is up there, it isn't my favorite cartoon. That honor goes to Steven Universe, and my previous favorite, Invader Zim, remains in a firm second place. I think I'd rank Avatar and Korra over MLP as well. Not that MLP is bad, it definitely isn't, just that there are some shows I think are better.
  20. I second darkwingmare. I love the gems, but I'm really starting to miss the sense of balance the show had between gem characters and human characters.
  21. Steven's a bit fat meanie! A big fat meanie zucchini! Let's chop it up! Chop-chop it up! And serve it with Liguine! Al dente! Al dente!

  22. First sea and pirate ponies, now Kristin Chenoweth is onboard? It's official, this movie wants me to love it <3
  23. I daresay this is one of the best episodes of the entire show, and easily the best Hearth's Warming episode. Part of the spirit of Christmas is all the songs, so this having been a musical is extremely fitting. My only complaint is I don't get why they decided to air this in May, especially with a mid-season hiatus coming up. Had they waited to air this one after the hiatus, it would have been far more appropriately-timed. Dunno why they couldn't have kept this ep back and finished up another one and aired it instead. But that's a fairly minor complaint, since when I feel like revisiting this show years down the line, I can watch this ep at the right time anyway.
