  1. In that case, LoE introduced their weapons of choice already. Swi-Twi: telekinesis Rarity: gems (outrageous) Applejack: brute force Dashie: super speed Pinke: explosive confetti Fluttershy and Sunset umm...cheering on the sidelines?
  2. As has been said, I have my shoes on when I need to quicky grab something or have to leave soon. I never go upstairs with them on though, unless I'm in a hurry and forgot something (like say my car keys...no I'm not speaking from experience, honest). Otherwise, it's either socks or barefooted, whichever I'm most comfortable with at the moment - for instance if it's cold or dirty, socks.
  3. Wait, Fluttershy's weapon would be a healer?! *madly swings the healer around like a mace as they scream* Twilight: rod/staff/book Dashie: daggers/fists Applejack: gun/hammer/whip (because lasso) Rarity: rapier/bow Fluttershy: polearm/sling/bow Pinkie: confetti!! Nah, more like the Joker, with lots of gadgets and tricks so...a trick box? Sunset: sword and shield (finally! one on whom they actually fit)
  4. I see, well it's your choice after all. I for one would have brohooved just the same even had it been called sis-hoof or sib(ling)-hoof or whatever. They're merely words, they have little meaning by themselves. It's how people use them that give them meaning, which is why words can change meaning over time. Although I do agree gender-neutral terms should be gender-neutral. Remains of a male-dominatd society. I just find it a bit sad that you won't brohoof anyone because of it. Heck males use female ponies emotes to express themselves. But hey, I won't sue you for it. If those are your values, I'll respect them. Hoofbump! /)
  5. Oh Discordian reminded me, I also brohoof when there is nothing for me to add, rather than make a post "I agree with all that was said" or when a point is conceded. I try to always brohoof for a reason so as to have them as meaningful as possible.
  6. Steve, you have the same problem I had once. Your two images are the same. The issue likely comes from the name of your two images - they're the same name. So you need to zoom in on the image first (since I suspect you took them from derpibooru )
  7. True enough, I completely forgot to answer the question. Quite regularly in fact. Almost every post in fanclubs, posts I agree with or want to give a nod to, posts that made me laugh. If I don't fully agree with the post, it's rare that I brohoof it. So take it as a "Ninjaed seal of approval" if you get one.
  8. Brohoofs aren't exclusive to males, you know that? Heck, the very term "bronies" itself isn't exclusive to males!
  9. It was only at the very end, after she had lost their trust, her village, their cutie marks and finally, after all this chase, the Mane 6's cutie marks. She could have hurt them every time before that, but always chose to alter the environment instead. It's only when her anger level went over 9000 that she finally retaliated against them. Oh, not to mention she could have easily hurt them when they were trying to break the glass wall of the cutie mark vault or even before that, when she darted into her own house. Anyway, compare this: with how she blew up the bridge. When she did the latter, that was not hesitating. Here, she was clearly crossing her own lines but was too angry to care. And the spell she cast actually doesn't seem like it's a regular lazor beam. It seems like she was trying to get their cutie marks back again in lieu of the Mane 6's, because that's the one spell she studied for years, not the lazor beam nor the shield. Now I will agree they coud have done a better job at showing it, as well as a better job with the apology trip. Imo, the apology should have occurred before the song, both would have had that much more impact.
  10. I like to believe Chrysalis does love her subjects. In fact, it's more or less proven - just like how Starlight believe in a flawed ideology, yet did love her fellow ponies. Both were eventually proven wrong in their ways and neither quite liked it either. So it'd be a bit "odd" in that order of things. It was more or less about to happen with everypony joining in the fun, except Starlight offered redemption so...so much for that. :-P For Discord, imo he showed up knowing that Twilight and the other princesses had been captured, having overheard them talking. He then just goes to troll as usual, trying to annoy them - until he hears Fluttershy. He wasn't expecting her to be captured as well and that got to him. That or Fluttercord is canon. Sorry Tree Hugger.
  11. I didn't even know the word until it appeared in this very thread. I didn't look for it because I kinda understood after a few posts. So yeah, it's not that in your face at all.
  12. Taking Starlight's example, her ideology is a bad example since she truly believed in it and only kept her own to take cutie marks from others. A better example would be when she tells Twilight she doesn't know anything about her, when Starlight herself doesn't know a thing about Twilight. Now that is being an hypocrite.
  13. There's only one thing to say, really. "Please find a way for me to come over there in Equestria!"
  14. Agreed, not as a lesson. Maybe Twilight will try and keep the lessons going (knowing her, it's probable) and Starlight might not like it, maybe even growing over-confident after the S6 finale. The idea of exploring Spike and Starlight's friendship is nice though, Sunburst and Trixie could lead to some pretty awkward situations as well.
  15. In fact, I always thought of her new mane as Rarity's work. Like, "this mane simply won't do" and hops onto the job with obvious glee as she gets to play with another pony's mane again.
  16. YMMV. Maybe to you but others have found season 6 better than the 5, and the 5 better than the 4. The question is whether there are more like you or more of the opposite mind. Given Hasbro's ever increasing figures, I'd tend to lean toward the latter.
  17. Aww and here I thought you'd be happy Rarity got her first fan.
  18. Ahh, now I can see some figures that show me there is significantly higher discrimination against LGBT than the average person! Thanks. So now I think I can say that I agreed all along to the discrimination issues against LGBT. They indeed are facing it in higher numbers, and not just in your country. In mine as well, in others as well, it's not a local problem like you seem to think. The same thing goes for black people in white-dominated countries, and the same thing goes for white people in black-dominated communities. Bronies have faced issues, Muslims have faced those as well, Jews as well, fat people as well (omg I said fat!!), many communities have. The problem I have with sharpshooting the LGBT issue is that it doesn't address any other form of discrimination. It won't stop the discrimination against bronies for example. So should the bronies start to have their own parade Then another community does the same, and another one? Until we have many laws specific to each of those communities but enforcing the exact same rights? No. Equal rights means what it means. There shouldn't be any kind of discrimination at all. The only cases where there should be specific laws is when there are specific problems, such as gay couples being unable to have children of their own. To deal with the discrimination issue, one should deal with it not on a community by community basis, but by addressing all of them in one fell swoop. Anyway, your points lacked the evidence to support them, giving many links I'm sure you hadn't even checked. 38 through 58, you just copied/pasted. Overflooding with information does not a point make. That is why I asked you to give a link that could substantiate your claims that the discrimination was heavier, so that your point could be made crystal clear to all. As for being disrespectful, I may have been and I apologise. You were losing your patience with others and it showed, so I unintentionally phrased a thing or two more offensively that I meant. I'll just note you have been quite disrespectful yourself in your last reply. Since I do not want this to escalate in a hate war over a misunderstanding, let's cut it here and now, shall we? No need to be uncivil.
  19. *sigh* Please do not move the goal posts, that is dishonest to do so. I have asked for rates to prove your point giving silly examples that went through my head at the moment. You're picking one single detail and replying only about this single detail. Logical fallacies... Now if you could reply to me and actually provide me with the figures I have been asking for in my posts? Please?
  20. More than 7 seasons. They make money off of it, it makes for good publicity, they're apparently trying to expand its universe/audience and contrarily to what some are saying, there is so much more to tell a single season alone will be nowhere near enough to do it. Especially now that the changelings have evolved and Starlight happened. Add to this the other races, unexplored lore, loose ties and whatnot and you'll get why I'm saying one season just won't cut it. I'm trusting the MLP staff to keep on delivering quality for several years to come at the very least.
  21. With the way Beatrice talked, I'd thought them to have had an history of making facts up to support their bias. Quite true most aren't impartial, but with what people reported in the links emerald provided, they're very clearly and intentionally distorting the truth to manipulate the opinion, such as digging up as much dirt on Trump as they can while not doing the same for Clinton. I hope for them and their readers this isn't true, but I'm afraid of knowing the answer... Anyway, thanks for your answers.
  22. I don't know huffpo (huffingtopost I assume). Are they really not credible? What makes them not?
