      It's not the 'design' — for most of that day, the page layout code (CSS) wasn't working so it was all in raw HTML — which did not work at all well! :o

      (Yes I did the delete cookies / sign out / sign in all that stuff, no effect.)

      @Windy Breeze The update is to allow new features to be used by the forum, such as management of the debate pit. There might be other bug fixes as well, but with a forum software as active as this one, there are more likely to be more issues converting all the odd special case stuff from previous years into the new forum.

      The forum will be update sometime today or tomorrow depending on your time zone.

    This morning, grinding coffee beans. Put the ground coffee into the whole beans tin instead of the ready ground tin. 20 minutes of my life gone trying to separate them again. Of course it doesn't help that both tins look exactly alike :angry: ... although the plastic bags used as liners are different ... :blush:

      I guess it depends on how big the holes are and how fine the grind. Some of my collanders would have holes large enough the beans would fall though, but the slotted spoon should work too.

      I guess the fact I keep my coffee in large foil bags rather than a tin helps me not make that mistake :)

      Well, not going to argue about that either - the courseness of the grind makes a lot of difference to the flavour of the brew, although its only one factor. One thing's for sure, you will be more careful next time :)

      Probably a few years old now, was not put together well in the first place TBH the upper rail has warped so is not holding the uprights anymore.

    Currently staying at the Cross Foxes, Brithdir nr Dolgellau for 2 nights, it's a fab place in the heart of Welsh Wales, but ...

    Eaten too much :(

      It's called the Temple of Victory and it's in Allerton Park, aka the grounds of Allerton Castle, "Gothic revival stately home with tours" idunno.gif.42b41e03ae613612684cf58eb610a94e.gif It's right by junction 47 of the A1(M) near Harrogate in Yorkshire and is visible from the road, and also from the parallel A168 (which is how I first saw it).Not sure what "victory" it commemorates tho. It stands on a 200 ft high hill.

      It is supposedly the origin of the nursery rhyme "The grand old of Duke of York, he had ten thousand men" etc., because of the scores of workers going up and down the hill during the building of it. The then Duke of York had just purchased the estate and so had it erected.

      Isn't it? Sadly doesn't exist anymore. :(  The entire shopping centre has been bulldozed, for a new shopping complex. To be fair local residents have been waiting for the new plan to get going for years.

    Had a panic last night, thought phone had died. Was working, picked it up to do something, totally unresponsive. Black screen, no sounds. No amount of button clicking could get a peep out of it. Ar5e.

    Put it on charger, didn't seem to do owt. Mega ar5e. Thought that's it battery's fooked.

    Tried it again early this morning and it managed to display a dim battery symbol with a red line at the bottom, i.e. "HELP TOTALLY FLAT CHARGE ME (YOU PLONKER)". (Well not totally, else couldn't even do that much.)

    So plugged in charger, three hours later, back up to 100% and phone working again. PHEW!!!  pheew.gif.ac332680e3374a0b329a8d33e330c0fd.gif

      I can relate... my phone has constant problems, though its current is irreversible. The LG keypad is unresponsive, so I can't text anymore on it and it constantly reminds me that the keypad is unresponsive. Then my vibration just dies, and my phone goes completely silent instead. Then my phone's mic goes out... at that point I tried to reset my phone but I can't enter my pin to reset it... nearly threw my phone at the asphalt. Now everything is working, except the keypad.

      Fortunately my problems aren't that bad! :o It's a nice phone, iPhone 6, cost a lot so want to keep it going as long as poss. Could get another but I'm thinking in terms of second hand one (cheaper) off eBay or similar.

      Kevin, nah, just didn't plug it in earlier when it needed to be plugged in! :D
