I started watching it in german, but restarted the series in english at ~ episode 10. At first I already was used to the german voices and it felt weird, but luckily I got used to the voice change (even though the german dub is still one of the better ones).

Fan Song: Probably "The Moon Rises" or "Lullaby for a Princess" Album Song: Either "Days gone by" or "Raise this barn (I Am Orange Remix)" Show song: I probably have listened to every single song equally often (about a trillion times sounds pretty accurate).

To be honest, I didn't like the first episodes until episode 16. If I didn't promise a friend to watch the whole first season, I would have probably dropped it after the first episode, but I get what you mean. Definitely one of my favorites, indeed.

If a friend came up to you and asked you to show him an episode of MLP, because he doesn't understand why you watch it, what would be the first episode that would come to your mind to show him? Mine would be "A Hearth's Warming Tail", since it does not spoiler too much (apart from twily being an alicorn in a castle, but I'm pretty sure they won't pay much attention to that detail), and it basically doesn't feature the "real" characters for the most part, or doesn't involve any important backstory. It has a good animation, and the songs are catchy, while the story is also quite solid. What would be your pick to show someone?

Well, MLP already was made in 1982. Other than that, Pokemon is an adventure anime, meaning you can just throw random new adventure plots at people, while you expect some development in MLP, since it is quite a slice of life cartoon (yes, even if there are ponies involved)

If I really had to choose my favorites of the show, I'd say: The Magic Inside, Smile Song, Every song in "A hearth's warming tail", Every song in "pinkie pride" This Day Aria, In Our Town (I have no idea why) If I had to choose from the EQG movies I'd say: EQG songs. Yes, I do love all of them equally. If I had to choose from an album (so, neither EQG or the main series), I'd say: Days Gone By Raise this Barn (I Am Orange Remix, on the DJ-Pon-3 album) It's a Pony Kind of Christmas Jolly ol' St. Nick (I love Spike's singing) Tricks up my sleeve (the full version on the soundtrack album of rainbow rocks)

Can't agree more. I want this show to continue forever.

From best to worst in my opinion: 5 - 6 - 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 I really loved the writing in season 5 for the most part, as well as many episodes (slice of life, crusaders of the lost mark and the mane attraction being my 3 favorites in this season) Season 6 was also great, but it didn't feel as great as season 5, even though it had some strong episodes as well, a hearth's warming tail and the saddle row review especially. Season 4 was good as well, but I did not like many of the episodes, but since it has pinkie pride and twilight's kingdom in there, I'll count it as "better than seasons 1-3". Season 2 would be on the same level as season 3, if it didn't have this great finale in my opinion, still one of my favorite episodes. Season 3 was okay, only the finale really got to me, and made me shed a tear or two. I'm not that proud of that. And I did not like the first season. It was alright, but definitely not even nearly as good as the other seasons.

In my opinion, AJ would be the only good parent: AJ for obvious reasons, as her honesty, her patience, her hard-working mentality and how she basically is already a mother of Applebloom. Fluttershy would be too kind, and this could go horribly wrong and give her child everything it asks for, making it think it can do whatever it wants... and if not, it would also get as nervous and shy as fluttershy, which would be pretty bad. The reason for Twilight as bad parent in my opinion would be her role as a princess. She would just have too much on her mind and would have nearly no time for her child. She also would have to give up her books to have at least some time for her kid. Rarity would just be way too busy with all of her work, and the shops he has opened already. Her job consists of designing and keeping her shops running, which takes way too much time Yeah, Pinkie Pie would probably just make too many parties and give her child too many candies instead of raising it and then add her weird family. Rainbow Dash doesn't have the patience and the skills for being a good parent in my opinion. We also saw the disaster with Tank...

Since "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" the worst pony for me will forever be Spoiled Rich, since Diamond Tiara is actually sweet, but I used to hate her, just because of Spoiled Rich.

Definitely unicorn power, it's basically a Pegasus with way more possibilities but without visible wings The studying would be hard though...

I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with cuteness, but it sure is something great. Who doesn't like the creepy smile they are slowly getting when seeing something cute?
