There are several songs that tie as my favorite song. There's First Flight and City in the Sky by Evening Star, As High as She Wishes by Neighsayer, and Aurora of Snowdrop of InklingBear. However, my favorite out of these to listen to on repeat is As High as She Wishes, so I guess I'll say that.

Uhhh. I haven't really listened to any original in-show songs hard or mediocore since S2. It's not that I haven't liked any since then, it's just that I figured why turn a masterpiece to boring and stale from overhearing when you can listen and shuffle the heck out of the countless remixes and keep the appreciation of the original work intact when hearing it? It's always more enjoyable hearing something for the first time, or near the first time, then after having heard it 100 times.

 

As for what fan music I've been listening to recently, it's been really up in the air and I've had my whole collection of MLP songs since now to 2011 on shuffle the last few weeks, though my ears have been a bit turned to Foozogz this week in particular.

Pretty much every song from A Hearth's Warming Tail, as well as Shine Like Rainbows and Welcome to the Show.  Though now that I think about it, the songs from Seasons 1 and 2 have been around for much longer, so I've probably heard them many more times simply from watching the episodes so much.
