More seriously though, it would seem a fair bet that pegasi can use the same wing magic that lets two small mares hover with an entire, fully loaded moving van, to protect themselves from the otherwise inevitable damage; any random humans that tried the same would be paste in fairly short order though, unless there were magic forces protecting them too.

Methinks she actually "boometh" at 2,5M, maximorum 3M, because at 4-5M she would need (semi)solid body armour and closed cycle rebreather.
