  1. Talking about Pinkie Pie's space sequence. I think it looks much more appealing for EQG than the "copy and paste the colors" format does, despite the increased simplicity.
  2. Confirmed by the MLP Movie Facebook page. Probably means in early June, just in time for Captain Underpants, Cars 3, and later Despicable Me 3.
  3. There are a total of 7 according to Daniel Ingram, so based off prior knowledge and what makes sense, here's what I think will be in the film: -A Twilight and Spike duet (already confirmed) -A Skystar song that is upbeat (listen to Wicked's "Popular" and you'll know what I'm talking about). Probably lines from Nova too. -A serious Tempest Shadow song dealing with her past (Emily Blunt-duh). -A humurous Capper song (based off his character and Taye Diggs' singing ability) -A Sia montage song -A Mane 6 song, possibly with new characters as support -A villain song but here's the thing: Liev Schrieber is not known for his singing. This is a wild card TBH.
  4. FIM already did peer pressure with Ponyville Confidential and drugs with Bridle Gossip.
  5. If they can make it into something like Steven Universe or SVTFOE (where it has lore and isn't just poppy drivel) then it could definitely work.
  6. The episode was mediocre. I liked some of the jokes and the Disney/Justin Bieber parodies, but the whole prospect of Big Mac having his "first crush" and needing fucking 10 year olds to help him is downright cringy. Also the song sequence was a classic example of filler, something that MLP rarely resorts to. 5/10
  7. It's weird and will make parents call the police. No costumes at all. Actually it will because parents will warn that there are a bunch of creepy people (not my words) at the theater.
  8. He was supposed to voice a character this season. Starting to think that was a false rumor.
  9. If you wear cosplay to the movie you're singlehandedly causing this movie to fail. DRESS NORMALLY.
  10. Bronies are not the main part of it. They need to get families in too. Kids films are automatic cash cows if the marketing is right.
  11. Not to mention the word of mouth it could recieve, especially for being a musical.
  12. He's whining that nobody likes MLP anymore and everything is cringe and more fear mongering crap like that, not that it's not as big as before.
  13. Literally none of what you said is true. Yeah some left but "a lot" is a hailrious claim that has no backup.
  14. Do you have backup to this claim? Because I have evidence against this.
  15. Honestly the "stigma" only exists if you're all decked out in pony gear and have a fedora. Otherwise theaters and parents are not gonna care if you see the film.
  16. It's not at its peak but it seems like FIM is gaining popularity back this year, especially compared to season 6. #MLPSeason7 is actually trending on Twitter and Facebook on a weekly basis which I don't think it did last year.
  17. Movie magic, mirror magic, and music magic are what they are called I believe.
  18. I think this should be posted in another section, as this isn't movie-related. cane
  19. Blade Runner is not competing against MLP. Two completely different types of films.
  20. Also there are no kids movies from October 6 until mid-November, so it should have very good legs.
  21. I keep hearing about that it's going to be a flop and all, but I don't see how that notion adds up if Hasbro makes this film correctly. Now will it be a billion dollar blockbuster? Haha no. You have to be Disney in order for that to happen. But nostalgia sells, especially in the form of animation/family movies. Even if the fandom is not what it once was, an actual My Little PONY (emphasis on "pony", as in "not humans" and "enough time for proper storytelling") Movie will get the attention of those who want to see MLP back at its roots, in addition to the large audience it already has. Not to mention that parents will take kids to take any animated film and MLP is the only one in almost two months. I mean the freaking Smurfs making $500 million in 2011 and Trolls making almost $400 million has to count for something, right? Also as for the backlash I don't think the same 25-30 trolls commenting "cancer" and "autism" and "f*ck Bronies" on YouTube counts as real hate, as most of them are from 12-15 year olds who have nothing better to do. So really I see $200 million worldwide at the worst (if the film gets terrible reviews and botches the marketing) and $500-575 million at the best (if everything goes according to plan). Just my $.02.
  22. Maybe Bay accidentally explodes the set of the Daring Do movie?
  23. ^Or it could exceed people's expectations. Has anyone thought of that?
