  1. I'm doing pretty good. Not exactly a productive day. Although, I will be forcing myself to take care of some laundry later.
  2. "I Mary Poppins myself down into EMP hell and spent most of the fight blind."
  3. Better hope that it's not a twin of me. We'd only end up standing at the end of the hallways of the welcome lobby and greeting new folk in an eerie fashion. "Come and post with us, newcomer. Forever... and ever... and ever!"
  4. There are moments when playing a video game that you've been wanting to play for years that you randomly encounter the greatest piece of Shakespeare that almost makes you spit your tea out with laughter. Literally had to shield my mouth and try and get my laughter under control enough to swallow. :ButtercupLaugh:

This game has been everything that I have hoped and more. :eager:

  5. This is your birthday song!

    It isn't very long!

    ...

Anyways. Jubilant day of birth to you! :-P

      I love this, Treeglow! Ahahahaha

  6. Not going to lie, bestie. I was watching King of the Hill when I posted that.
  7. My hat has a habit of randomly distracting people from what they were intending on doing.
  8. Crazies? You've got the nutty, the silly, the wacky and the occasional insaney in the brainy. But I don't know if there are any crazies among us.
  9. You seem very-very familiar, but I can't quite put the tip of my hoof on it... But welcome to the forums, bestie!
  10. Now this has always been a pleasantly strange one for me. But the first person that came to my mind was Kagura from Azumanga Daioh. Ever since watching the anime back during my teens, there's always been this pull I felt towards her as a person. I mean, we're totally different in terms of interests. She's the athletic, sports loving type who could unkindly be referred to as a bit of a numbskull. Whereas, I've always been the indoors, creative type who spends far too much time in the company of my own brain and imagination. But lifestyles aside, she has always had that same sort of spirit that I felt I've always had. Somewhat competitive, wanting to do her best, overly positive and works hard when it comes to the things she is passionate about. Also has emotional moments as well as general dumb moments. As a partner or general team member, I've always pictured having someone like her by my side. Same sort of nature but with different skill sets. So if I'm stranded in a far off distant world or in the heart of deep space on a ship millions of light years from Earth. She'd definitely be my pick to have as someone by my side. As for non-fictional options. There really isn't anyone.
  11. I've still yet to reach my best. Onwards and upwards for the time being.
  12. Technically. But not in the traditional literature or officially published sense. I write and draw manga as a solo creator, opposed to working in a creative team. I'm sort of in the hybrid stage of doing it as a hobby and actually receiving money for my work. My intention is to go professional as soon as I realistically can. Right now, I've written a three chapter long story that I'm currently in the process of drawing out. There will be approxiamtely 180+ pages altogether once the project is completed. So only a small one to start with. The story is written from start to finish and I have all the pages drafted out. It's just literally doing the art side of things that remains, which means long hours at my desk. It'll be self published on a site that is run by Shueisha which allows manga creators from any background to share their works. They do a monthly ranking system there for published works and I'm sort of planning using it as a testing ground to see how well mine does. If it reaches the level of attention that I've set as a marker, then I'll take it as a sign that it will be time to submit one of my other works through more official channels for consideration. This will be the first manga of mine that I've gone public with. I've drawn loads in the past, but all that has pretty much been for the purpose of self study and refining the craft over the years until it I felt it reached a certain standard. Only people that have seen my work are my really close friends. A very good sign that you're making progress is when they throw money at you without you even asking them for any sort of donation or support. In general with story writing, I pretty much dabble in everything. I do actually write in the more traditional sense. But once again, not really in the public or officially published sense. So yeah. If you wanted to count the writing aspect of manga creation as having written a book, then yes. I suppose I have. Even if it sits as a pile of manuscript pages.

  14. About how many people that have come and gone in my life that I really never got to speak with. If you ever see someone around on the forums or in general that you've always wanted to speak with and get to know. You should totally do that. Like right now.
