Funny... Gamestop (the biggest reason for used sales popularity) might ironically be the worst thing that happened to gaming and the whole reason for Online Passes and the push to PC and digital distribution!

So becoming a PC Indie gaming hipster might pay off in the long run.

I already hate the mainstream titles like CoD, Indie games are cheap but creative and fun, PC Indie games don't have used sales so they aren't plagued by the same issues, devs have much better ethics, and they can be hella successful like Minecraft.

Maybe... minus the silly glasses and scarfs, Hipsters are really onto something! D:

And for a last point on the film. The whole "young adult" part isn't that bad and is tastefully done imo... except the movie gives me the impression that the next two movies are going to be "young adult" crazy! So bare in mind that the sequels... may suck a bit. Especially since I've heard Mockingjay the 3rd book is pretty insulting!

Well besides some strange joy I feel in my little sis crying it just points out how emotional the film can be on someone. A film that gives off a genuine emotional reaction is doing its job right because that's what art is supposed to do!

I suppose. Though no matter how much I was caught up in the fandom, I always had that little voice in my head that was always too cynical to believe in such a thing. And now I'm thinking that it just may be right.

We all are in a sense.

The concept is a bit flawed though. Working the anti-cynicism of the Ponies of MLP into human nature is just silly. And hate is a natural human emotion. And just like love, hate too can be a very powerful emotion that can drive people to do things. Trying to eliminate hate is just stupid, limiting it is fine, but you cannot kill it.

I don't hear much about JRPGs in my hometown since it seems no body is into them aside from FF.

But I am now going to look up a bunch of older and some newer JRPGs since I am in the mood.

Nintendo should focus more on Purchasing IPs. Buying Banjo Kazooie from Microsoft would be the best bet here seeing that Microsoft has little use for the IP (unless Banjo Kinect Sports is really needed). Nintendo could also pick up the other IPs such as Conker (they want a more "hardcore" focus for the WiiU so how about a game for us Adults), Killer Instinct, Perfect Dark, and hell why not Viva Pinata.

@Tyger I say they are about equal! Though lately I've been enjoying Adventure Time a little more (probably because we're between seasons in MLP and I've seen every episode)

I watched the entire 1st Season of Adventure Time! yesterday and loved it!

@Wildcard I didn't even consider Anime. I'm not a huge anime fan, but I love a few shows like Full Metal Alchemist.

@Colon: I have to admit that I am not that much a fan of cartoons and mlp is the only one I've really watched. That makes it more amazing in my eyes, that even guys who don't like cartoons that much can love friendship is magic

...personally. Doom 4 might suck or be enjoyable, but it will never compare to the original trilogy. if it's as or more enjoyable as Doom 3 though i think it's gonna be fine though.

If you want to know more on Wolfenstien and why I didn't like it just think Call of Duty. It is hardly even the original at all!

I haven't played any of the above Raven titles though.

I thought DOOM 3 was trying to hard to be other games namely Systemshock. It also tried too hard to be quote unquote "horror" which I don't feel was really in the spirit of the first two.

I can't judge DOOM 4 yet seeing little to know info other than that the project is not dead.

Also my issue with RAGE was that, on its own it may have been a good game, just after spending hours in Fallout 3 and NV in Post-Apocalyptic setting, I cannot seem to play Post-Apocalyptic games anymore.

As for the bit of gameplay I did play it was... pretty generic.

That's pretty long! My best was 4 but that was because the rest of my family was on vacation and I chose to stay home for the week. An entire week of being home alone with no one to bother me was nice so I had to milk every second of it! I crashed at 4 on the floor!

But I have extreme problems with sleeping, so sometimes I can't sleep for days. It's really annoying and affects everything I do in school. But that's because of my depression -.-

I never said anything about the artist's fanbase. I said something about the public. Why would someone be so shamelessly frivolous as to buy a song off of a sketchy site without first searching for either the artist or the song itself? By falling into the consumerism trap and purchasing this evidently plagiarized material, they keep LegalSounds up and running by providing revenue to a scam.

You can look up the site yourself. They do sorta make it look legit, but still that name SCREAMS trouble!

It seems like the artist mentioned above has some very popular ties on Bandcamp who will most likely protest for the site to be shut down.
