    Every Little Thing She Does - There's a difference between malicious intent and desperation. Many people label Starlight's actions in this episode as the former when it's actually the latter (in this case, desperation for Twilight's approval, kind of like Starlight's "Lesson Zero").

    Like: To Where And Back Again; The "subplot" of Starlight feeling better about interacting with the ponies at her former village could've been expanded upon. Dislike: Honest Apple; Even though it was a bit out of place, Rarity KILLED IT with that guitar solo.

Twilight Sparkle: No, I'm not! They're just so... [shudders] cheesy. "You know you're doing your Pinkie Pie voice, right?" "Classroom portion?" "Fine, I'm guilty! I wear false eyelashes! Oh, and I took a bite of the cake."

    I watched all of G3 (plus G3.5) and G1 back to back last December. Does My Little Pony Tales count as G1 or is it its own generation?

    Most of the things people hate about Season 9 (Grogar twist, the villain trio’s punishment, Celestia and Luna retiring), I don’t care/am neutral about. Rarijack and Fluttercord are overrated. Some people: Take MLP too seriously Have too high standards/expectations for the series Need to let go when it comes to their dislike of certain episodes or characters Flurry Heart being born an alicorn doesn’t bother me (this controversy’s probably old news)

    In A Canterlot Wedding, only Applejack apologized for abandoning Twilight. Not the rest of the Mane 6, not Spike, not Princess Celestia, not even Shining Armor. Just Applejack. We also never got a proper make-up moment between Twilight and her friends in the 2017 Movie.

    In addition to My Little Pony, I am also into Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Transformers, and Kirby I am referred to as Megalobronia on this site, FIMFiction, and Derpibooru; elsewhere, I go by Gametendo64 or NintendoGamerXD I've actually been a My Little Pony Fan for years now, I just never joined this site until now. Speaking of which, I actually joined February 11, but if I had known about this forum then, I would've posted here when I joined.

    This one fanfic I read once gave the idea of Flurry following in her aunt's footsteps and forging bonds not only between the three pony races, but also with the many non-pony races (changelings, dragons, yaks, etc.)*, labeling her as "the Princess of Balance". *Which is essentially what Twilight accomplishes in Seasons 8 and 9; however, the fanfic in question was created late 2017, before Season 8 aired

    I can think of a couple reasons. I very rarely see anyone (besides me) state Aurora as their favorite She has very few speaking lines and a good chunk of her screentime is spent sleeping. She hardly does anything noteworthy (according to some people) Among other reasons

    I get sad for a different reason than everyone else in this thread. I'm like, "This franchise used to be so wholesome. Why does such a toxic fandom have to surround it?"
