This project has been a very important and personal undertaking for me. Amnesia: The Dark Descent and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic were released a month apart, back in 2010. What both of these franchises have meant to me is beyond words. 

Suffice it to say, there have been a great many things related to both of these amazing universes which I've wanted to express for as long as 15 years. I am so happy and satisfied to have finally seen this through to completion. I hope everypony finds something compelling or stimulating in it as well. Enjoy, and keep your eyes open for those Gatherers!

Come On Girls, We're Going To Castle Brennenberg

We're committed. I've downloaded and installed Frictional Games' Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and I'm setting off on a full play though of it. This time I've got the ponies right along with me. I will also be pressing the screen shot button constantly. 

Overall, my artmaking is going to continue growing organically from where it has been, and from where it is at right now. The pieces you see more of now, expect to see more work very much like those going forward. Yes, I often emphasize MLP's strong mythical roots. Some of my pieces are humorous, a few are entirely inane. So it is, and so it shall continue to be. Most of the time my art risks offending nopony. So far, there have been a whole two [2] darker strains. There's always the other side of life. In point of fact, MLP has never ignored that, so why should I?

I was able to engage with the DOOMGUY / Pinkie Pie crossover ship quite easily, and I did exactly what I had wanted to do with it in short order. In the case of that project, I had already assembled a full library of resources. I had everything I needed, I just needed to get it done. I made the images that I wanted to make, and my fan fiction tells the story that I wanted to tell. I am actually very happy to leave the DOOMGUY Pinkie Pie crossover ship exactly where it is. I feel I have made precisely the contribution I wanted to make. It was never supposed to be taken seriously by anypony. I hope it amused or delighted even a couple ponies, but even if it didn't it, making it was still worth it to me. I made that body of work for myself first, and everypony else second. The DOOMGUY Pinkie Pie crossover ship has always been niche, vague and disorganized. Little more than a microgenre of memes. I like to think that I got everything under one roof and put my own personal spin on it.

The MLP / Amnesia: The Dark Descent crossover is much, much larger. There have been many fan fics, several mods for the game, and I'm hardly the only pony who's made fan art about it. This crossover is also more open ended. I already have made several pieces in relationship to it, which are now grouped within their own folder in my gallery over on DeviantArt. I have been feeling my way into this one. Taking my time, figuring out what my approach to it is going to be, and how to port my creative process to this specific crossover. Mainly, I wanted to get through DOOMGUY and Pinkie Pie first, cause I knew that that was going to be a finite, closed body of work. Maybe the crossover with Amnesia will go the same way, or maybe we'll eventually see Starlight Glimmer trying to slap some sense into Tasi Trianon at some point. I do not know just yet. 

The point is, I am starting out on this project in earnest now. The rate at which I am uploading pieces not related to this crossover may slow down just a tiny bit temporarily, but probably not. I already have a fresh Gen 5 piece I am about to start work on. Expect to see some content related to the two FIM specials, and then a not insignificant number of pieces dealing with the Gen 4 film. And then, as I have said, I will be starting all over again with the first season of FIM, and I am gonna go till about the middle of the 7th season. That was the point at which my artistic process really came together. But expect to see an entire galaxy of new pieces, relating to the earlier seasons of FIM in the days ahead. There may be a slight delay from the time of this writing before the first Amnesia related pieces start to appear. 

That depends on how quickly inspiration strikes me, and how strongly those strikes are. Sometimes, I get an idea, and I've just got to get it out of my head. With DOOMGUY and Pinkie Pie, I forbade myself to even start thinking in terms of specific pieces until I knew I had a big library of resources to get them made. We'll just have to see how this plays out.

TL-DR: I have a lot of exciting new pieces coming very soon, and there's going to be a great deal of variety. Stay Tuned!
