I'd choose an i3 window manager sticked to some lightweight distro, with lot of Vim-like software supporting it. 
Then again, that could be considered a fetish by itself.


But all in all, I kinda feel like modern technology is overpowered for the vast majority of people. I am still using a 5 year old computer, after all, and it works just fine, and I don't have low requirements, quite the contrary. Sure, I needed to update the HDD to 5TB and the RAM to 16gb, but other than that it's old.
 

Hm. I am still using my eee PC 1000H and once I switched to Lubuntu with i3, it runs decently... Not something I would recommend to erryponeh, but hey.

What do you mean by mechanical? That they have individual buttons as opposed to that rubber thingy? :3 I love those, they are a source of infinite number of buttons that are fairly easy to desolder.

I've been thinking about getting an ssd, but their lifespan is still limited in terms of available writes. In my eyes, this makes such investment hardly justifiable. But I got myself 16 gbs of ram :3

Well, my solution is to bomb Africa with missiles, so that it changes into bunch of islands with no deserts at all. Thus, allowing sea to flow freely around, eventually evaporating by the heat and falling down as rain. It COULD solve the thrist issue. :3 I came up with that when sleeping. :3

Check the task manager. Chances are, some process bugged out, during... I don't know, faulty update or something and is using 100% CPU. :3

I am 90% positive the icon resembles camcorder and therefore it's some sort of video capture software.

My point is, the communities around old yet great stuff still exist, even after soooo many years! Good stuff is still popular. Ponies will surely become culture treasure (or how to say it). Love and tolerance will find it's way...

I say 20 years at least.

About becoming homeless... Keep it for 5 years. I don't drink. I don't smoke. In 5 years, I'll most likely have resources (such as cash ) to keep you on foot. Why would I give away my money to a random stranger? Well, better then to smoke and drink...
