  1. @@Discordian, Huh, didn't know that. Better start saving up my money, but there are already like 5-7 games that I still want to buy this year so I might have to put it off (rip my wallet, at least bayonetta 2 is down to 30 bucks).Although I was referring to how salty I would get if Zelda skipped Wii U.
  2. @@Key Sharkz, i am so desperate at this point that just a render of tifa/aerith/yuffie/sephiroth/lolwhoever would get me unbelievably hyped >.< The problem is figuring out what that way is... if anything, i'd just improve the graphics slightly for the NX, nothing too big that it's glaring, but enough that it's noticeable. @@Discordian, Wow, talk about a blast from the past. I didn't get a PS3, but there is a friend of mine who was huge on FF so he got the PS3 purely for Versus. I had to deal with his salt for months after it was revealed it was purely for XB1/PS4. Hopefully I won't have to suffer through the salt myself...
  3. @@Key Sharkz, Oh, that's great! Looks like I have something to look forward to for E3 besides hoping that Square Enix will throw some FF7R and/or KH3 info at us. Yeah, Nintendo's kinda put themselves into a rock and a hard place. Better graphics on NX? Wii U fans are pissed. Same Wii U graphics on NX? NX fans are pissed. There is really no way Nintendo can win... honestly at this point I don't care about the graphics as long as I get a decent (or with how much it's being delayed, godlike) Zelda for my Wii U.
  4. I probably won't be able to get the NX on launch; i'll probably wait a few years until it has games I like. Anywho, I pretty much figured Zelda would be delayed AGAIN. God, at this point it's going to be released with the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Disappointing, but as long as it's released on the Wii U i'm fine. Is there any info on if it's gonna be shown at E3? The information that NX is a March 2017 launch also came out recently, not sure if it relates to this thread or not, which I find a little odd. Why would you say when it's released but not what the gimmick is...? Anyway, the NX coming out next year is pretty OK in my book. Ive had my Wii U since... what, late 2014 and I've thoroughly enjoyed it thus far. Not a huge library in general, but the PS4 and XB1 don't fare much better, and the games I do have are pretty fun. The one wish I have for the NX is a large library of decent titles, though at this point i'm not sure if it's wise to hope for that. Ah, I guess i'll wait and see.
  5. A skill set for mega evolution seems to be a bit overpowered. I mean, can you imagine a 5 move M-Rayquaza, Lucario, Mawile, or Salamence? I like the idea; though I think it would be better kept as an ability that is used very sparingly; perhaps on an otherwise weak/useless Pokemon? For example, maybe Smeargle can get a mega which gives it said ability and a small boost to it's stats. Speaking of abilities, still waiting for one that gets rid of hazards like Stealth Rock. Also, a Sp.A equivalent of Huge Power and Moxie. And one that automatically activates Trick Room, akin to Drizzle and Drought. I'd love difficulty settings. This thread had some talk about how the Pokemon games are becoming too easy; well, difficulty settings (like the one used in B/W2) would be godly; for example, an Easy, Hard, and Lunatic settings. Yes, I ripped those off from FE. On higher difficulties there would be better AI, more expensive items, higher encounter rates, stronger Pokemon, better movesets, etc. For example, let's say there is a random trainer in S/M that uses a Dragonair. On easy, it would be a normal Dragonair; perhaps with the moveset Agility, Twister, Aqua Tail, and Slam. On Hard, the Dragonair would be a Dragonite with Dragon Rush, Aqua Tail, Wing Attack, and Agility. On Lunatic, the Dragonite would have Multiscale, and have Dragon Dance, Dragon Rush, Aqua Tail, and Hurricane. Something like that. There would also be level differences, forgot to mention that.
  6. So with all the buzz about Dark Souls, i've been thinking that I might want to give the games a shot. Any advice if i'm going to? When it comes to builds, I tend to like speedy characters, if that helps.

  7. I play this casually, and it's actually quite fun. Peaches refuses to come though, as do those two new rare cats from the new update. Pepper is my personal favorite cat; she's so cute and adorable! my man
  8. Que Sera Sera by shortskirtsandexplosions was a wild ride.
  9. I don't really have any waifus; but sure, I do have my favorite characters and some that I do think are really adorable/hot/whatever. But, as Venomous has pointed out, I understand they're fictional. I don't act as if they're real; as adorkable as Soleil is I can accept that she will only exist in my 3DS. Which is a shame... Basically, I think it's cool if you have waifus. Sure, you have a crush on that fictional character, don't we all. But there is a point where it's healthy and where it's unhealthy. If the person cannot distinguish fiction from reality, it's pretty unsafe and they should s t o p immediately. If they can, do whatever, as long as you're not hurting yourself or anyone else.
  10. I only have the free Sonic Boom one and the Super Mystery Dungeon one because it came with the first wave of the game. I use Super Mystery Dungeon because it looks super cool.
  11. RIP Gilvasunner "I only do high quality rips." 2016-2016 ;_;

I did Birthright Lunatic first shot, but I used minimal Ryoma (he was mostly paired up with Hana) so it wouldn't be piss easy. It wasn't too bad, but Nohr Hard was far harder. Same thing with Revelation, but for whatever reason he's less OP on that route.

Oh wew, Conquest is ninja hell. Chapter 25 is awful in that regard. Let me give you some background; So I have Niles with Shurikenbreaker, for the SOLE PURPOSE of getting through Chapter 25. Chapter 25 has about 6 or so Mas...

...ter Ninjas, three of which have the 3 range spy shuriken. They have a 3% chance to hit me though. However they have the skills Poison Strike and Grisly Wound (HACKERS). They make Niles lose 20% hp if they initiate the attack, whether they hit or not. They stack. So two Master Ninjas hit Niles, and even though they don't hit him since it's a 80% hp loss Niles has like 5 hp. Master of Arms comes in for the kill. Thankfully you can bait one Master Ninja using some other bulky unit.

  14. I'm back and with a vengeance! literally because iago (THE BOSS) killed kagero with a vengeance activation at the end of chapter 16 of birthright, thanks iago. @, This brings me back to the dark ages. @@Lightwing, Chrom is a NERD Also I have shit handwriting.
  15. @@Lightwing, Conquest has a pretty bad story, but Birthright and Revelations have an alright story. The characters are amazing though, Setsuna, Soleil, Charlotte, Izana, Arthur, Camilla, Xander, Peri, Oboro, and Takumi are particularly my favorites. ...that was a lot of characters, but I love all of them okay, there are too many great characters in this game. Also yes, Archers/bow-users are spectacular in this game. Even on the enemy phase they can be great; since there are so many ranged attackers now (ninjas, shuriken-users, bow-users) all it takes is a little positioning to make an archer annihilate an army on the enemy phase. I am using four bow users (A Sniper, Priestess (War Cleric that uses bows), Kinshi Knight (Falcon Knight except it uses bows. Yes, fliers can now use bows...), and a Merchant (Archer that can also use lances)) right now, and all four of them are hands down my best units. Long live archers! @, I am so, so sorry for you I accidentally deleted my Conquest file on Chapter 11 but god, I can't imagine how deleting it from like, i'm assuming Chapter 20-25 would be.
  16. @@Radiance64, I was able to finish conquest, but dear god were Chapter 25 and 26 rough. Staff Savant and Grisly Wound + Poison Strike should be banned. Currently i'm on Birthright Lunatic, chap. 11, and surprisingly it's not too bad! Dare I say Nohr Hard is harder? Archers and Ninjas are godlike right now, and i'm on a quest to make Rinkah good. ...by feeding her energy drops, of course. Curse you 30% str gr
  17. @@Lightwing, Enjoy your SE! Tell me how it is when you get it... because I didn't get it X.X So i'm on chapter 25 on conquest (Hard/Classic, haven't lost anyone but... I reset a lot) and IT'S NINJA HELL. There are so many Master Ninjas, all of my mages are crying out in fear (Ninjas are pretty much the ultimate anti-mages). God, am I so glad I got Shurikenbreaker on Nina and Niles. Also, I wanted to throw my 3DS out a window on Chapter 23. I was at the boss and then Peri missed a 90% killing javelin throw, and then the boss activated a 30% Rend Heaven, OHKOing Peri. I was so pissed. @@QuirkyUsername, you'll get your release date one day, hang in there x.x Selkie is so adorable, I hope in Revelations her and Velouria can support. They'd probably be best friends!
  18. Right now I LOVE Fire Emblem Fates, but that may be because I just got it. I fell in love with Undertale last year, and i'm still pretty nostalgic over Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky (if you love this game be my friend please). So one of those three, probably.

  23. @@Limeblossom, Well, Pokemon, although being largely the same casually throughout the years, is pretty much completely different competitively every year. I play Pokemon competitively on Showdown when i'm bored, and I've been doing this for years, so I can tell you first-hand about how the generations have changed competitively. Gen 4: Tyranitar was at the peak of his power, as was Garchomp. Lucario was also a major threat. Pursuit was used a lot here because of the physical/special split. Goddamn Blissey was used a lot. Garchomp got so OP it was banned competitively. The physical/special split (moves were no longer special/physical based on type) made Pokemon such as Gengar, Salamence, Dragonite really good. Outrage was used a lot here for some reason because people didn't like Dragon Rush/Claw. Gen 5: Offense based. Because of the advent of Hidden Abilities, pokemon that would've/previously saw no use became really powerful - such as Espeon, Leafeon, Dragonite, Blaziken, Mightyena, Sableye, Serperior (although serp's hidden ability would only be legal in gen 6), Liepard, and Tropius. And Pokemon that already saw use became even more powerful, such as Ho-Oh, Lugia, Salamence, Lucario, etc. Most notably, the Weather Wars took place during this generation; Ninetales, Tyranitar, and Politoad were capable of making infinite sun/sandstorm/rain, so 90% of teams were based around these weather conditions. Since only one weather could be up at a time, most teams fought over who would have the dominant weather. Excadrill got banned for being far too OP in sandstorm. Blissey fell out of use because of the evolite. Because of the Eviolite (if given to a pokemon that can evolve but hasn't, defenses increased by 50%), Chansey, Rhydon, and Porygon-2 skyrocketed in popularity. The ability Cloud Nine (weather disappears) became very popular. Gen 6: Talonflame is a best. The Weather Wars ended because it got nerfed thank god. Right now the metagame is pretty balanced with focusing more on offense; Bisharp and Landorus-T are really popular right now because physical attackers like Lopunny-M, Conkeldurr, Scizor, Scizor-M, Dragonite, and Tyrannitar are really, really powerful. GF broke the game with Rayquaza-M. Because of the advent of Mega Evolution, Lucario-M, Mawile-M, Kangasthan-M, and Gengar-M have been banned because they're far too good at their job. Lopunny-M, Absol-M, Sableye-M, and Macernic-M are currently defining the metagame. Stealth Rocks is just as important as ever. Chansey is as the peak of it's popularity, and nobody uses Blissey or Salamence anymore. Because of ORAS move tutors, Greninja got banned. So yeah, competitively, Pokemon is very different and unique generation to generation, but I won't lie; the main games are pretty much the same formula over and over and can get stagnant. But I don't mind; it always feels like a new adventure to me and has never gotten old to me, although I can see why it has to others.
  24. @@Nightmare Muffin, Weather conditions, such as harsh sunlight, rain, sandstorm, hail, etc. I meant that GF might have 'dark moon' as a weather condition that boosts dark and ghost type attacks and makes moonlight heal more or something. I don't mean the time of day or anything.
