"Mother of Celestia..." Jet Stream whimpered. They were all so... brave. He turned around him frantically, panicking a bit. Jet Stream, sadly, wasn't a fighter. In fact... He was rather frightened. To think they were all so brave to just engage in a heated battle...They all never even knew each other, but it was as though they had some sort of connection. Jest Stream didn't understand it, but... wanted to. He also wanted to help, but... he had no idea. No idea whatsoever. But he had to be brave. They... They were his friends, he supposed. Sure, his cynical side questioned their motives a bit, but, if anything, they sure seemed like what you would call friends. Jet Stream rushed into the fray, his head spinning left and right trying to comprehend the situation. "Hey! I'm coming and--" Something slammed against his head, as a splash of what appeared to be fireworks clouded his vision. He knew he shrieked, but he couldn't hear it... He could feel it. Something, most likely a Minotaur had delivered a kick to his head... But he couldn't comprehend anything else, for a wave of throbbing pain ensued, causing him to sprawl onto the ground. His vision faded, as he felt himself being consumed by black.

Jet Stream's expression grew a bit tired. So, it would be after the tan unicorn. Genuinely speaking, he did enjoy her, considering she actually had a sense of humor. He then felt bad considering abandoning her, but he repressed those feelings. She, in a way, abandoned everyone else. Well, no, not really, considering-- Jet Stream gritted his teeth. Why must he always overthink everything!? He quickly followed, not wanting to be alone. He lost sight of Alex Night, so instead followed the fiery pony. Eventually, he slowed as he heard voices. They... Sounded angry. As he crept forward, he heard the fire-esque pony bark something rather threatening. Jet Stream looked toward where the threat was directed, and almost jumped out of his skin to see four large Minotaur circling Alex Night, Klopp, the unicorn with a sense of humor, and Ali Finish. He... What... What should he do!? He considered abandoning them. He didn't know these ponies. They didn't know him. He was rather weak, in a physical sense. There was no way he could take on four Minotaur, even if a bunch of other ponies would back him up. But... He wanted to help. He still felt attached to them for some reason. Jet Stream whimpered. What should he do?

I am quite cute, aren't I? Regardless, I tend to enjoy Angie's non-pony art a BIT more than her pony art, only because they really display her creativity.

Jet Stream grimaced. He just wanted to go home at this point. Why he was so compelled to come here was sheer idiocy. Was resolving a writer's block worth risking your life over? Come to think of it, what correlation did any of this have to do with his story? His... His story. It was then that he realized he would never even get to write it, because he would most likely die. Due to his prior insecurity, he foolishly offered to help the Pegasus find his fedora. Did he really feel that bad? Why... Why did he even feel bad!? It was just a hat. Jet Stream's head drooped. Then again, one could say the same about his problem. The hat obviously had some sort of value, possibly it was a family member's, or signed, or some other symbolic meaning that he didn't know of. He then saw the tan unicorn rush off into the forest, dropping some flowers along the way. His initial reaction was to pick them up, but after watching the white Pegasus - who's name, apparently, was 'Klopp' - suddenly forget about his hat and instead about pursuing the unicorn, it baffled him a bit. The other Pegasus who finally introduced herself as 'Ali Finish' rushed off with him. Oh, I see. We must all stick together, but OMIGAWSH A PONY WENT A-WALL, GON' LEAVE DA GROUP. Jet stream chuckled. Genuinely, what was the point? Was there even a point in staying here? The other Pegasus, whom he now knew as Alex Night appeared to be rather confident in his leadership abilities. Should he wait for him to make a decision? Jet Stream's head darted back and forth. Stick around, or follow them?

@ Jet Stream breathed a sigh of relief. They didn't take him seriously! He chuckled. This pony wasn't so bad, quite a sense of humor indeed. He began to giggle again, and then started to contemplate a witty remark. @ Just as he turned to see the other pony's remark, instead of seeing a laughing Pegasus, white-hot pain flashed on his cheek as he turned to the side from the blow, bewildered. It didn't exactly hurt, he was more shocked if anything. Looks like not everybody took it as a joke. He was unsure how to react at first, but he then heard the Pegasus' statement about his hat. It must be very important to him. He shook his head, trying to regain his composure. Just before he began to speak, he heard the Pegasus realize that he and the unicorn were indeed kidding. Jet Stream didn't know what to do at this point. The blanket of awkwardness came back, but it didn't just throw itself over him. No, it slammed itself into his unsuspecting face at a bewildering speed. He could see that the Pegasus was embarrassed as well. He grimaced as he turned all about. He was so engaged in venting the awkward, that he didn't even notice that they were now a group of seven. How was... Jet Stream slowly blinked his eyes. Focus. He was lost in the woods, a unicorn bumped into him, he started laughing, Pegasi fell from the sky, he made an uneccesaary joke, he just got slapped, and now there were ponies everywhere. He knew what he had to do first. Jet Stream stepped toward the white pegasus and bit his bottom lip. He looked around, anxiously, before finally taking in a deep breath. "I'm sorry about your hat. I didn't know it was that important to you. If I had known this before, I wouldn't have joked about eating it. Nonetheless, my name is Jet Stream, and, if you would, I'd love to help you search for your hat." Jet Stream blinked for a moment, and turned to the tan unicorn. "You'll help, right? Along with everypony else?"

@, @, @@Parties like Pinkie By now, Jet Stream shakily breathed in and out. This was just too much. Now Pegasi was raining from the sky. Oh, Celestia. Either way, he was happy his humor had returned to him. The looks on the other two Pegasi were also priceless. The itchy blanket of awkwardness began to form into a relieving vent, spewing out his earlier worry and fear. He felt a bit on edge with the pony standing in front of him, but a wry smile appeared across of his face. "Oh yes, indeed. I was going to hurt her quite badly, my laughing was quite maniacal," he joked as he turned toward the white, muscular one. "Your fedora, good sir? Yes, I believe I saw it. I ate it, though." He began to laugh again, but noticed that everypony was growing edgier and edgier. ... They didn't take him seriously, did they?

Jet Stream nodded. "Hello there... Are you lost too?" He asked. The awkwardness was heavy in the air, it was almost as though it were a thick, itchy blanket. He tried to think of something, to change the subject, to do ANYTHING, but he couldn't help but realize he was wasting time to recover. Not to mention he was shaken up. The unicorn seemed nice though, she had a very friendly aura about her, so he wasn't worried any longer. Eventually, he couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter.

Jet Stream stretched his wings. It's all he ever really bothered to do with them, anyway. He sighed and shook his head. He'd just have to put his past behind him. He had to focus on the task at hand, which, sadly, he actually had no idea what it was exactly. He just knew that within Ponyville's neighboring forest, there would be a spark of inspiration... a story, for him to write. ----- It wasn't long until he found himself lost. He plopped down on his rump and sighed. This was really helping his writer's block. In the end, it didn't matter. He was lost, Hoofrey would be be worried sick, and, well, he was hungry. He looked above him to see small beams of light glittering through the branches of the trees. He smirked. The trees must have grown quite sensually, considering they're hugging each other so tight. He coughed, repressing his humor. He had to make it out of here before some beastie gets its claws into him. He COULD fly, try to break through the thick branches above, but he wouldn't shame himself by doing so. He hated the fact he was born simply for pride, to continue some legacy. Jet Stream found himself getting worried. The forest was pretty intimidating, and he heard rustling all about him. He wished his humor would return to him, but he couldn't even make a cynical jab at anything. The rustling continued, until it became very obvious that something was approaching him. "Hello?" Jet Stream called.

My wish (this may sound depressing) is to have the ability to fix every single mistake I could ever make, or have the ability to go back and change things. A way to fix every single bad thing I ever did.

Glad to see you've learned your lesson then! I'm not a furry myself, nor do I delve into it. I never really bothered looking at it or anything, I'm fine with my ponies.

Greetings. I'm sure you'll come to find that your talents will make you even more well-liked. Nonetheless, your comic made me lol pretty hard.

Hmm, you make good points, and while I am generalizing them by saying they and it might not be fair, it's for the simple reason that it brings to mind other people's memories of such people. We are genuinely talking about the ones that do things to fit in or to be cool, to an extent that it gets aggravating or silly. I appreciate your point of view however.

It's not so much that, but the simple reason they make me/us feel bad because of it. I do wasteful things? Hell yes, I'm replying to this! But even so, I don't do it to fit in or to be a sheep, I do it because I'm on a personal journey of self discovery. Nonetheless, though, you are right, the same behavior has been from generation to generation, and it is good of you to call on all of the negativity.
