Diamond Tiara resisted the urge to start giving Splinter some rather inappropriate nicknames, a hoof going to the bridge of her forehead. "Ugh, can you believe that guy...? Anyways, I was thinking that I was going to dress up as someone from the past- Like Commander Hurricane or Chancellor Puddinghead- and reenact some history for the class." Diamond Tiara had both the looks and the resources to pull it off, after all. With the stupidity of the other groups taken into full consideration, her idea would probably be a showstopper.

Diamond Tiara watched as Splinter started to jerk away, as if desperate. Really? What the hay had she even done to this kid? Bemused and deciding she no longer cared, she scoffed and turned back to Magnus, waiting for his ideas on what they would do for their project.

Diamond Tiara evenly regarded Splinter, her expression a cool smile. "I've worn masks, not made them." Diamond Tiara then turned away from him as quickly as possible to hear out Miss Cheerilee. "Thank you, Miss Cheerilee." She nodded her head in deference to the teacher and turned to Magneus. "Obviously, I can't use magic for my half of the presentation. What are you thinking of doing?" Diamond Tiara considered her options, or rather she tried to until she was distracted by an outburst of sound. Looking up, she saw Splinter, and was actually flabbergasted at how stupid some ponies on this planet could manage be. Oh well. Something for her to try to take advantage of. She sidled up to Splinter while she waited for Magneus to respond. "In a bit of a bind there, Splinter? Don't worry, I'll help you out..."

I don't think they're going to necessarily know each other this time the way they know each other in canon... But still, I'd love to see an Applebloom around!

Twilight heard out Rainbow Dash, nodding slowly. "I don't know about that, Rainbow. I mean, if anypony wanted to bring back Discord... I wouldn't be too surprised if this also had something to do with Applejack's trees." "Remember Discord, guys? That was fun! But sad. But awesome! But horrible. But there was chocolate rain! But there was also chaos and destruction..." Pinkie's face lit up. "I know what we should do, guys! Let's get the Elements of Harmony!"

Diamond watched Lucky for a moment. "Idiot." A slight cough was what most of them would have been able to hear. As for her partner, Diamond Tiara was a bit miffed. She could tell by his tone that he didn't expect her to be able to keep up, and so he was assigning her the 'easier' races to deal with. Well let me just tell you that I also would rather work alone, boy. She kept her thoughts to herself once again, however, for the sake of being diplomatic. Just because she had the easier races didn't mean she couldn't make a great presentation and upstage every pony. The Earth Ponies and Pegasus had some pretty amazing history, from what Diamond had read in snippets before while bored in her father's office or backstage in a pageant. "Alright, sounds good." Diamond Tiara then raised her hoof. "Miss Cheerilee, what can we use for the project?"

Diamond Tiara's opinion of everypony was very unaffected by their introductions. She was sure that she had made the correct assumptions with her first impressions of everypony. She yawned, bemused by the incredibly shy Dawn. She half wanted to gallop out and grab a megaphone for the dolt. But a presentation... now that she could do. If she made an awesome enough presentation, she would only further galvanize her status as the best of the best in her classroom. But who to pick as her partner? They were all more or less unnecessary, and she could easily get the research done on her own. But she needed to follow the rules, or Cheerilee would get on her case. And she also needed to start making friends and allies, lest she be left out of the loop in class... She turned to Magneus, smiling sweetly. "Hey there. I think my father might know your father." That could well have been true, Filthy Rich was a well connected stallion. "Want to do the project with me?" Ain't that the truth? Diamond thought to herself when she overheard Splinter. But she didn't actually say it. No need to make a scene in class. "Aw, Splinter, don't say such things about yourself," she said compassionately even as she glared a dagger or two in his direction.

Female Discord? If only because we need more girls in this RP. But who is going to play the villain and important NPCs, anyways?

In pretty quick order, Diamond was able to neatly label all of her peers: Amber, loud, annoying, and naive; Lucky, heaven knew but Diamond was sure he'd also be a derp; Splinter... he was actively glaring daggers at her, which beyond being insulting as hay was also a pretty strong indicator of who one of her main rivals would be this year. Diamond didn't even know the kid and somehow she had drawn his ire. Perhaps she had insulted him in passing? Possible. He also seemed to be a jerk in general. At least Diamond knew how to pretend to be nice when she needed to be. Acro, not as naive as Amber but close; and Mageus. He had also drawn Splinter's ire. Now that would be an interesting angle to play if need be. Diamond stood up to introduce herself soon after Lucky did. "I am Diamond Tiara. Remember the name, everypony, you will all want to someday. I have won beauty pageants before even starting school, so my qualifications are already quite high. I look forward to making friends with everypony, old and new alike..." Diamond glanced at Splinter. "If anypony has a problem with me, they would do well to remember Miss Cheerilee's suggestion. They may bring up their problems with me at lunch. Thank you all for your time." Diamond Tiara sat back at her desk, impressed with herself for her eloquence and sure other ponies were too.

Pinkie's head erupted from the ground, showering the other three mares with dirt. Twilight protested, but Pinkie ignored her. "Applejack's trees are being rebellious, so we need to find out why! And what's with the accent, Rainbow? Are we doing impressions? Here, let me do you!" "I'm the fastest flier in all of Equestria, Rainbow Dash!" Twilight's jaw dropped. Pinkie's imitation had been dead on in voice, it was eerie.

If Spike is captured, that cuts him off from the main body of interaction for a long time, and that's no good. Going to say neigh on that proposal, Magneus. Do we need a new villain? What's wrong with expanding the role of an existing one?

"Good morning, Miss Cheerilee." The voice, sweet with a slight condescending twinge, issued from a desk in the second row. A young filly, coat groomed to a hair with a bejeweled tiara sitting atop her head, was the speaker. Diamond Tiara wore a bright smile but her eyes were shooting around, appraising her peers mercilessly.

Scootaroll (why do I remember this) is Scootaloo's male counterpart, I think. Question is, who plays the male CMC? I mean, nobody bothered signing up for them.

Well if Diamond Tiara doesn't change then that would suck, now wouldn't it? I mean, she is a kid. Kids change a lot from when they're kids.

I'd go for 'use the episodes as a very loose structure' and make up whatever we want from there. Like, Nightmare Moon. We start there and see what we come up with.

Name: Diamond Tiara Cutie Mark: Her namesake, a Diamond Tiara. Represents her unwieldy ambition to be a pony as powerful as the Princesses someday. about: Diamond Tiara is a meany pants, to put it incredibly frankly. She has ruthless ambition and little time for other ponies she perceives as inferior or even obstacles to her plans for life. Shadowed by the wealth of her family, she has an inferiority complex and thus constantly feels the need to show off and prove herself. She is not above using her peers in ways some would consider exploitative. She is a child however, so she does have her limits and she can yet learn the wrongs of her ways.

So a canon character transplanted into this other universe? I'm alright with doing that, if it'll allow me to play Diamond Tiara. Need anything from me profile wise? Character voice? Traits? Blah blah blah?

Male Gilda? Male Trixie? Male Chrysalis? Female Discord? Even if we go to a new place for the purpose of allowing side characters a chance to tag along, the set up doesn't have to deviate too badly from episode format. So we could start with that, and pitch ideas as we go along.

Wait, so let me get this straight. The Earth Ponies get the POWERRRRR of the Unicorns and Pegasi while the revolution goes down? I'd like to play Applebloom, as a non-combatitive 'child affected by war' sort of character.

No canon fillies/colts? I don't really have an OC on this site and I probably never will, since I already play enough OCs elsewhere.
