Yeah, I think I might've made her a bit too dark. My monitor always seems to show things lighter than they are, too! On another note, I'm working on a second animation thingy (walking cycle). I'm still fixing things here and there, but this is the rough version:

Haha, thank you! She's my ponysona So a kind of OC, yeah. I made a version with her saying 'Omg' all the time, a bit like Rainbow Dash in that episode with the wonderbolts, but I liked this version more ;D

Thank you both ^^ Yeah, I tried to make the hair bounce, but found it hard to capture the movement right! I used adobe photoshop to make it, I have no idea how flash works, to be honest. xD

I used to dislike rap and I still dislike lots of the generic stuff, but my boyfriend let me hear some different kinds of the style this summer, not only the crap I hear on the radio and around me at school and I actually liked some songs. It's definitely not one of my favorite genres, but I appreciate it a lot more now.

I did copy most of the movements off of this one: But it was a good practice! I couldn't get the cutiemark on there properly, sadly

I'll have to say the second one. The first one has more shading, yes, but it doesn't work very well on a flat figure without lines. If you're going lineless it will usually only look good if you paint, only shading probably won't do it. I like your style in the second one.

And also, forget that it's never a shame to use references, as long as you only use them as a reference and not as something to trace from (because you never learn from tracing stuff). For references from the show, there's a nice dA group (http://mlp-vectorclub.deviantart.com/) with a lot of vectors, usually taken from the show So they're safe to use as a reference. Try not to use the art of others as a reference too much, because if you do that you will most likely copy their errors too, and we don't want that! (most of the tutorials are safe, though, just go for the ones that look best. )

They all look really good, Echo! Even when your hand is alright again you should keep doing them ^^ You're good at them :3 Maybe you can even vectorize your own drawings too then!

Memes are fun until they are overused, but I do believe they are a bit of a part of the internet culture, with their ability to go viral. We share everything nowadays and I'd say that's definitely a part of culture (when it comes to our generation, that is).
