Argumedies

Not saying it was bad, just my least favorite of the season. It's good to see the CMC tackle this slice of life episode and a good callback to woebegone from G1..I wanted to like Trouble Shoes... but I just couldn't (do y'all realize he's bigger then Celestia) Typical of G4 to use males as ignorant dummy and shut character conversations down too early Pacing was way too fast, story was over way too soon Other then getting to see Sweety Bell use magic on the keys, that whole scene was unesasary because the got the sheriff to leave the room immediately after. Breaburn was just, annoying to watch Townsponys were uninteresting And even Applejack kinda got under my skin. The episode was just...meh

It's not so much the seasons themselves, but individual episodes that are scattered among the seasons that I have problems with I'd say about a dozen total that I didn't care for. But again, there's a few in each season, so it's hard to choose just by season alone

I have to think of the comparison of these two as if looking at alternate dimensions of each other. In one world, they are one way and in the other... well This way it doesn't drive us mad but personally I like the comic version better... at least for her character.

I knew he did a lot of voices, I had forgotten about Joe, but I always think of Kronc first, because he's the one I liked best. I would definitely choose him to VA this incitatus character

Ya, I'm going with Starlight Glimmer on this. That mind-job she pulled just rockets her to the top in my books

That pony reminded me of Kronc, I can't remember who VAed him though, but I read his lines in that voice

I'm kinda mixed on this. This is one of those grey areas in Twilight character I can see her falling for it because even in show canon, she has been "tricked" (looking at you Discord) before

That's fine but you can change the thread title to match the others if you like And I gotta point out, DAT Celestia flying in with guns a blazing (or horn if you prefer) and stick um in a volcano, ya know, I've never been a fan of the whole tyrentlestia thing, but Dayum, that was just downright mean. Would have been less crewel to stick um in a giant bug zapper

Oh I agree with you there, ain't none of them can do Rarity properly, the closest being FF #13 with Babs. (But even then) I wish they would have done the Nightmare Moon issue like this one. To me that was the flatest of the series. My picks for this series 1: Chrysalis 2: Sombra 3: Sirens 4: Tirek 5: Nightmare Moon Which is sad for me because NMM is one of my favorites and Chrysalis is actually my least.

Well they don't have the official thread up yet So here are my quick thoughts. I'll make more in the official thread. Finally, a comic worth reading (for the most part) Except the whole OOC Rarity spot, I rather enjoyed this, and the campy little in stories were great. it was deep and very dark and so much better then the NMM arc. This is what all these should be like Go read this, it's worth it imho

My apologies for being crude I almost feel bad for writing what I did but it was only because I had not watched the episode at the time. But now I've come to a better appreciation for the song and was quite happy that this was in here

It was. But the way i understand it, it was because they didn't have renewed contracts at it's creation and no one knew how far to take it. It was all fixing to be canceled way back then and only in the last little bit did it get it's renewal.

I think that after "putting your hoof down" they've taken away Fluttershy's ... "innocence"... somewhat As a character development it's good as long as they don't take it too far

Could be worse, at least your not in G3 anymore

Now, I'm not a big RD fan but I have to admit, she moves up a few notches in my opinions because of this episode. For those who draw connections of the deeper meanings, I can say that this episode also pulls a closure for me and my dog of 16 wonderful years togeather, she past away about the same time that the episode "May the best pet win" premiered . This will be my first mention of it to anyone because it was so hard on me that it's taken this long in dealing with it. This episode was almost verbatim in how my spring of 2012 played out (only going from winter to spring) even had a huge snow storm her last week with me. For months, all I played was the find a pet song. That's been 3 years now, I still hurt but I think I've found a new song to play so I for one am glad they made this episode

I liked season 4 for the most part but so far it's had nothing on season 5 This season we've been smacked around in the feels department and this latest episode was just a body blow. I can't wait to see if season 5 is going to end this with a total K.O. I think we've finally gotten through to the big wigs that this show had so much potential other then being just another kids cartoon

I didn't get to watch much so I'm not staying in this thread long but I cought enough to say this... Are they going to put a song in EVERY EPISODE NOW! Not that it wasn't good, but COME ON, to me it just subtracts from story telling time
