  1. Good to see you again @@Bomb Sheep! I like how this looks like a cave-painting, like it's telling the tale of days long past. After you get more practice in with proportions (look up a few character models from the show for reference) , Experiment with perspective angles. Otherwise, you can really take advantage of the cave-painting aesthetic and try to make a narrative in pictures. Keep it up, pal!
  2. Aside from the wonkiness of Rarity's face, you did a great job keeping the characters on-model. Well-done!
  3. Lovely! Unique eye shape and attractive color reflections. Wish the top of her head wasn't cut off, though. Keep at it! You're doing great!
  4. Your line work, colors and shading look fantastic! My only gripe is how noodle-like the gray pony up top looks in that position. Keep at it! You're doing great!
  5. Not bad, it looks like a character from Scribblenaughts. Lovely shade of green. Try drawing ponies in different poses in this style!
  6. Quite the unique style you've got here. I've noticed how it has improved over time. As for the animation, It looks nice and smooth and well shaded. Though, you may want to consider how the different parts of the body bob up and down as a pony walks. Keep at it! You're doing great!
  7. What a cute character! The squiggles in the line work make it even cuter. However, I can't help but notice that her forelegs are longer than her hind legs. Might want to be careful of that in the future. Keep at it!
  8. The image is a little tiny. Your pony looks decent, but you may want to consider a seperation in color between the grass and the aurora. At first glance it was hard to tell if he was standing on anything. Keep at it!
  9. Your sketch work is on point! Your digitization needs work, though. I recommend the free program, Firealpaca. Its path tools makes inking an image easy, even without a tablet.
  10. Heh, this is actually pretty neat. What kind of background do you think would go with this?
  11. Other than the lack of shading on the cookie in relation to the rest of the image, you did an amazing job!
  12. You, eh, appear to have some leakage around the outlines. Other than that, your character has a nice, unique design. However, considering the angle of where the sun is, you probably want to consider the angle in which we see the character. His pose implies he'd descending straight down, but the surface of the water is implied to be to the side of him. It will help to be aware of these things in the future. Keep at it!
  13. Experimented with camera angles. Used the same methods I used previously to get anatomy just right. Saw some other people post drawings of bikini-clad characters, so I though it'd be ok. Here you go.
  14. Going to do a gaming stream of Knuckles Chaotix and either Worms Armageddon or Pokemon TCGO tonight at 8:00PM EST Doing an art stream same time tomorrow. I'm thinking I'll work on my Godzilla vs Goku digital painting and/or animatic for my second Sega Shorts attempt https://www.twitch.tv/sergeant16bit
  15. In addition to what Clover said, Spartella had this to say, "I beg your pardon sir, but Brass and I are indeed adventurers". Brass added "what she's trying to say is, we've really gotten around during our association with each-other". "Not only that, but you're looking at a seasoned warrior, who's seen the rage of war many a time. And Brass here came from a tribe of nomads! A little wilderness doesn't scare us!" Spartella was always one to speak proudly, regardless of her childish appearance, "Brass and I couldn't bare the idea of forcing you to sleep where you aren't comfortable". "Besides, we always carry our own camping equipment. It's sort of a must when it comes to living on the road" "Worry not your fluffy head about us. We fight beasts, marauders and angry chickens on a regular basis!" Brass whispered to Shepious, "That last one only happened twice" "So tell us, Sheepious, was it? What is this Yakyakistan you speak of? Is it fraught with ne'er-do-wells? A homicidal leviathan, perhaps?" Spartella inquired, beaming with curiosity and giddiness.
  16. Brass Brush and Spartella stared at the sheep for a moment or two. They looked at each-other, then shrugged. Brass Brush approached the sheep and cleared his throat. "My name is Brass Brush and this, here," he turned his head to the filly next to him, "is my associate". Said associate, in her typical fashion, raised her hoof to her chest and introduced herself "I am Spartella of Thunderclap, a fallen warrior with a sacred..." "Come on, let's not start that now." Brass interrupted her "The poor ram looks tired enough as it is.". Spartella sighed "fine, maybe later," she perked back up "How may I and my associate assist you good sir?" "I have some gauze in my saddle bag if you're injured," offered the older of the two travelers. "and I have a constitution strong enough to amputate if necessary!" "SPAR!" "Calm yourself, old man I was only kidding. I can shout around for shelter if you need any" "Or perhaps there's a village nearby with an inn?" "Spare us not any details, my woolly friend. We do not deny the needs of...eh those in need!". Brass spoke under a fake cough "Redundant!". "Shut up," muttered the overly dramatic filly.
  17. @@Pripyat Pony Brass Brush had been slowly making his way along a dirt path, not that far off, but still far enough to be out of sight from the others. "Are we there yet?" stated little Spartella, sitting upon his back. "It was your idea to go this place", responded Brass as he raised an eye brow at her. Spartella responded, "Ugh, why must I be so charmingly needy what it comes to rumors of 'all you can eat grilled corn?" "Last time it was tiramisu" "You're just as foreign to this land as I am. Are you not as curious of the exotic food stuffs?" "I would hardly call last week's fried pickle 'exotic'" "a glorious invention, it was" Suddenly, the two could see a flare, far off from their left. They looked at each-other, surprise on their faces. Equally curious, the two agreed to check out the source of the noise. Spartella braced herself upon Brass' back as he sprinted to the source of the flare. When Brass and Spartella made it, They could see the alicorn standing next to the exhausted sheep. "What's going on over here?" asked Brass Brush. Spartella hopped of of Brass' back "Have you two been attacked?", she asked as she looked around for possible marauders.
  18. Brass stared at the pony with a raised eye brow for a moment. He turned away from him to begin reading. Spartella trotted up to Brass' side to join him. "Curious," Spartella said "where I'm from, stories were told with either images or text, not both". Brass commented "these caricatures seem charmingly stylistic"
  19. Brass looks at the pony funny, but ultimately agrees to sign the paper. "I am no child" corrected Spartella, "I'm actually much older than you are". "Let's not make this more inconvenient than it already is, Spar." replied Brass as he signed. "Very well," Spartella began to get snarky "I'll cooperate THIS time, lest my curiosity haunt my sleep". If there was anything Spartella liked to do, it was to mildly embarrass Brass. "Oh brother" responded Brass as he handed over the signed paper.
  20. Spartella, serving her deed, crossed her front legs, looking cheeky as ever. Brass says to the pony "Erm, yes, my associate and I are unfamiliar with this particular medium of literature that you specialize in. Is there any chance you could give a couple of foreigners like us a proper introduction?"
  21. Brass stared at the pony behind the counter, eyes wide open, right eye brow raised. Spartella turned towards the pony when she heard the snoring. She approached the counter then said to Brass "don't worry, I've got this". She held her hoof up to her mouth and delivered a loud, sharp whistle.
  22. Brass approached the pony at the counter, while Spartella eyeballed the covers of the comics, wondering about the contents inside. "Excuse me sir," said Brass "forgive my ignorance, but my associate and I are unfamiliar, yet curious about these colorful-looking books of yours"
  23. Brass Brush approached the shop with Spartella, in her child form, following close behind. "Hey gramps," Spartella jokingly said toward her travel partner, "what's a 'comic' book?". "Yeah, try calling me 'gramps' again and see what happens" He said in response, "To answer your question, no idea". Spartella responded snarkily "just our luck being a couple of barbarians in this modern world". Brass raised an eye brow at her remark, then let a sigh "well, it's not like we have anything better to do". Brass seized the handle of the door, allowing Spartella first entry into the strange establishment before he followed her in.
  24. I'm considering pushing myself in terms of animation quality by making a music video. The song would be "I Have the Power" from "He-Man and She-Ra: Secret of the sword" I'm considering making the video feature Spike and Princess Ember. However, there may be better characters I could use for this. All I'm asking is if anyone has any better ideas for who could be the main singers of this video.
  25. By the power of OiDo! I HAVE THE POWER!!!!!
