I like skrillex, though it's a common misconception that skrillex makes dubstep as he hasn't made many of that genera he's into all types of electronic music. Just some claim he's a dubstep artist when he doesn't only make music of that genera. Most producers try out many genera's.

My favorite is Cinema, D-D-D-Drop the bass, lol. I sometimes check his channel, I liked his last album "Recess" and the song "Ease my mind" on it.

Honestly though, I don't understand much of the hate for the man. Sure there's better dubstep/EDM/D&B acts out there (Pendulum, Krewella, and Knife Party come to mind), but Skrillex is still quite good.

Skrillex is quite good, I mean he's made a few good songs, but he's nowhere near best. There is no best artist, just best songs. And as @@Fluttershyfan94 said, he's commonly mistaken for a dubstep artist. He's done a few D&B, a few Pro-House, and has he done any Trance yet? Trance is one of the best sub-genre's...

Recess is a good album. it sounds new but at the same time most of it still has the signature Skrillex feeling to it.
