Muslim Fluttershy

The drawings are good but she looks more like a medival Fluttershy than a Muslim Fluttershy.I live in an Islamic country and Hijabs are a rarity here.I once went to afghanistan and although the girls there had covered there heads with scarves no one was wearing a Hijab.Same as with Iran and Iraq most of the girls there wear short skirts and half sleeves.

I kind of just choose those at random for the example. It's the same how not everyone who lives in the southern states like Texas wares a Stetson hat like Applejack.

Bruh i just hate it when sjw's racebend Quiet and shy characters as muslim and Arab ( not anything against them I'm a Malay Muslim)

I kinda imagine her as a Pacific islander or mongolian with curly hair <33

I saw a racebend of Rarity wearing hijab and black (or middle eastern?)i think it fits her and breaks stereotype though I'm worry about her "inside" modesty.

I used to hate these because it's made by feminist :/ , and people are arguing about Rarity not looking like a Muslim american , the artist gave her hijab paired with modern clothes.

Reminds me of a hijabi model Halima Aden

Wait. What? WHAT!!!!!????

Muslim Fluttershy? MUSLIM FLUTTERSHY??!!

Why not Hindu Fluttershy since Hindus don't eat meat or Jewish Fluttershy since meat eating is severely restricted under Kosher laws in Judaism?

Of all the fanworks which rarely if ever makes any sense, this one takes the cake in making no sense.

Well thanks for responding to a thread I created but forgot existed.

And dude, calm down. I was asking in the first post why this particular iteration might be, not saying alternative depictions of her are invalid.

Well Zetha, if the artist is Muslim it makes perfect sense. Fan art is definitely no stranger to applying personal elements to a character depiction.

A response to @Steel Accord and @Jeric,

Wait I replied on this topic? :P

Guess I just lost it there back then, but lemme try to understand this.

Fan works don’t have to make sense in terms of accurate depiction of a franchise or character as long as the fan artist does whatever it wants with it.

Alienating rule I suppose, but legit nonetheless.

Soo, its the same idea with FNAF fans turning the “supposedly nightmare-inducing” Animatronic Monsters into non-scary things or *censored*?

Doesn’t matter since it will be open to criticism, feedback (be it positive or negative), and people giving off their opinions.

Nevertheless, I’m going through a phase nowadays so I might not be the same person y’all are talking to back when I made my comment here on July 28, 2017. Don’t know if its for the best or worst on my end though, but hey only one way to find out. :)
