I admit I haven't heard too much Metallica but out of the two albums I have I much prefer Death Magnetic. My other album is ...And Justice For All and I have heard other Metallica songs here and there.

 

Between the albums, I like Death Magnetic better but songs like Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets are up there with my favorites from DM like Judas Kiss, The Day That Never Comes and My Apocalypse.

The video is shit, as you said above. The song is actually pretty decent, though. I especially like the double-bass drum that's used throughout the song.
