Apparently my state was a huge Metal hub back in the early 1990s. One of my best friends knows a couple of people who know Dan Lilker on a first-name basis. Apparently Nuclear Assault was one of the regular visitors back then.

 

How about something that I think is hideously overlooked?

I live in Maine, actually. The city of Lewiston was a regular metal center. There's tons of vintage Metal merch circulating the music and thrift stores around here.

It can be, if you're not into guns at all. That makes it worthwhile for me, considering how lax our laws are compared to other states.

If I want feel-good music, I like to listen to Bob Marley. I can't do Thrash Metal when I'm in a bad mood.

 

 

Lay down a Progressive Metal base, throw in an operatic female lead vocalist, and add a dash of Swing Jazz for good measure. This is the end result.

Metal's something you listen to when you need an aggressive fix, based on what I've been told. I guess I'm wrong...

Sanctuary is actually supposed to get back together, from what I hear. I'm very much looking forward to hearing a new album from them.

 

I keep seeing a user here with the name StarGazer, and I'm always reminded of this song when I hear or see the word.
