If I could not choose Equestria for some reason - perhaps because I could only go to a live-action universe - then I would choose "Star Trek" so that I could recreate Ponyville in the holodeck. What if you got there and they all were ass holes to you because you're not a pony? For all the people who say the Pokemon universe would be an awesome place to live, maybe you should take into account that running after Pokemon and becoming a trainer is something you do as a kid. Adults try to get into a field related to Pokemon, which is the foundation for a large chunk of that world's economy. You could be a part time trainer, but you'll probably be tired from your work schedule, and you wouldn't want to travel too far until you get a Pokemon to learn Fly, since your job will probably tie you down. The world of Pokemon is bound by neoliberalism, just like the real world, and you may not even end up with a job related to Pokemon, which would greatly affect your social status.
