A new planet has just been terraformed, and the Colonization Office is flooded with requests for permission/access from various subcultures to colonize and create new countries there.

 

What subcultures are more willing to colonize the new world?

Given that I was part of the Finnish punk rock scene for years when I was a teenager, and my experiences in it, it would be safe to bet that Anarchopunks could probably make some form of an anarchistic society work.
Any cohesive and truly functioning society needs to be based on free-associations, since power establishments by their very nature breed inequality and top-down tyranny amongst the populace.

None of them. Subcultures are not ruling bodies. I would think a colonization office would pick candidates from criteria other than what subculture they're in.

Probably furries, since I know one who is actually trying to push for a micro-nation since he's sick of being 'oppressed' for his interests. Yes I know, its rather silly and pointless.

 

Then again, with bronydom's sheer size and diversity, it wouldn't surprise me at all if our fandom contains the essential professionals in building and organizing a society. (Politicians, soldiers, scientists, engineers, etc.)
