I hope you do realise that my OC isn't coo coo crazy. More of he hasn't seen any one  pony in such a long time. I would reveal a bit of back story as to why that is. But it's all about interacting with one another

yea, i'll keep in mind but summer is just verry scared of anypony older as her (due to her backstory wich will be revealed later) and she allways thinks the baddest of them, but once you'll get to know her better she is a verry nice pony.

@@Blitz Boom, the link is under my signature. I don't know how much to provide so I'll just do a rundown and highlight a few things.

 

So here's a brief run down:

 

Backstory: His name is Andante Capriccio (musical terms meaning a walking, flowing tempo; and a lively piece of music). Born in Canterlot, Andante has been playing music his whole life and he graduated from the Canterlot Academy of Music. While attending the academy, Andante wrote a rather impressive portfolio of scores, earning him the renown of  "best composer of his time". Also during his time at the Academy, Andante conducted for the Canterlot Philharmonic. Later he became patroned by Princess Cadence and Shining Armor, and they give him leave time here and there.

 

Personality: He lives as if society was still in the high renaissance, he takes Aristotle's Poetics a little too seriously and conducts himself as a tragic hero on stage *perhaps this will lead to a tragic downfall* He spends his free time finding new sounds and reading.

Interesting with a theatrical/musical pony, that's for sure, but I will have to see how you do in the RP to really get a feel for him I think. Something tells me that he's gonna be interesting though once I really start to see the layers unfurl.

 

As mentioned to Damonater, we have a good deal og groups around now, but we also have the option to start from your own point, and then either have a side adventure, or join one of the other groups at a later time. Furthermore, we start at night the current ones, but much like with the Blitz/Summer/Barrel side going on in the current early morning from the looks of things, I allow some time to stretch out. 24 hours from the earliest, which for now seems to be at around... 10 in the evening or so for one group, so up to the same the day after, if you prefer another setting than late.

 

There is a minor thing that I can mention, beyond the usual *Would you like to make your own start, or have you a need for a nudge in the right direction?* speech, and that is your characters connection to Cadence and Shinning Armor.

 

Nothing against it of course, just wanted to say that I have one who works for them, and if you needed a connection at some stage to somepony in the thread, you can use her if needed. Her name's Vivid Loss. If they have ever heard of eachother can be up to you if you chose to have a connection such at this through personally seeing eachother, or from the royal couple (as Vivid works for them). If you want to know more, there's a link to my bios' in my siggy, you can check from there if it is. ^^

 

Anyway, that aside, I would like to welcome you to Casual Stroll. Let me know if you need a nudge in the intro or something else, and if there's anything you need to know from me or anypony else. ^^ We have a ton of friendly OC's in this thread that will likely not mind answering if there is something.

@@Blitz Boom, I like Vivid Loss man, we'll definitely need to find a way to build familiarity between her and Andante. I'm cool with the evening too. I'm going to read page 100-107 and see how I can smoothly transition into the story, I would like to work with you in doing this as well. I would like to continue planning this transition in PM unless that would impede the rest of the group RPing. 

 

What time zone is this operation being conducted in anyway? I'm in EST.

I don't know anything about timezones. Like, At all. I can say that right now, where I am, the clock is 20:14. Not sure if that helps, but there it is.

 

I do know that replies in this thread comes in all sorts of the day though, so people are likely from random timezones. Hence why I go with *10 in the evening* and stuff like that to determine time, cause no matter the timezone, that should hold some meaning far as I know. ^^

 

And you can sedna Pm whenever and I'll start to respond to it when I see it. Usually I spend most of my free time online anyway, soa  good chance you'll catch me. Just not Mondays, and most of Thursdays. I play magic cards with some friends there. ^^

@@Blitz Boom, So you're out in Denmark, I'm 6 hours behind you. I met a family from Denmark while I was camping, they were some good folk, talked about fishing and made fun of how unintelligible the Liverpool accent is.

Important, possibly relevant details (this may be information from before the parts that you are reading):

The group that traveled through the forest cut down three trees. These trees are called Everwood trees and have high levels of magic in them. These trees have souls when they are alive and are only cut down when they are ready to pass on to the Realm of Dreams, as that acts as their afterlife. The wood can only be sold or purchased by those who have a permit. The wood is used for various magical objects, a magical instrument isn't too far of a stretch. This group is now inside the old Castle of the Two Sisters (organ to the outside?). Priestess has an Everwood stick through her.

 

I think the part with Blitz, Summer, and Smoking Barrel is another good option as Smoking Barrel plays the piano.

By the way, you and I are in the same time zone.

Well, I just summarized the important details from before that point that are relevant to the current events so you wouldn't have to read too much before being able to post. Now there should be no need to go further back than that, although if you still want to find out what happened before, there was a lot of interesting stuff including a battle against a giant diamond spider. This Roleplay has been going on for over a year, so there is a lot of story that even I haven't read yet.

He really did the gist of things, since this is what it mostly revolves around. Yet it also revolves around creating Charlie, one of the spirits from the trees, a new body. It is in the early stages at this point, but it is something worked towards.

 

An option though really, if you wanted to meet with Vivd, could simply be to have her meet him on the way back with the parts for said body. She lives in another dimension where hours are minutes in the Equestrian world, so she could have had plenty of actual time for her to prepare things and could be on her way when she meet somepony else on his way towards the castle.

 

In theory, he could go there for the ambience if he is really so theatrical as you mentioned, which would be a reason for him to be towards the place to begin with. If the late hours is because he have run late or something else I cannot say, but I am just giuving suggestions here after all, not an actual answer or orders.

 

It could give her some time to fill him in on things during the thread whilst they go the bit of way there, and if you want them to have met by reputation or sight before, then you have my full permission to believe it so, and I will just roll with it. Sometimes fun happens when you just go with the punches. ^^

 

Anyway, it was just something i thought of. I have a question for you though about something else.

 

The part you mentioned about the PM'ing it. Do you mean PM'ing details, or part of a thread to add in later or something else? Just trying to be completely sure I get what yer planning.

I don't know if you had any plans for where your group is, but I would like to think it is in the castle of the two sisters and I have an idea for repairing the amulet if it is. If you have an idea for a specific way the amulet must be repaired, I would like to hear it. However, my plan will allow you to design a new magical object for Serenade if you want to replace it instead. If you want the newly repaired amulet or the replacement, either can be granted more magical power if you want, I just need to know what your decision is.

In regards to her amulet, it's become worn out and needs to be replaced(She's had this one since just after she was born). So probably the replacement.

I believe Blitz left it up to you to decide where they were. I would also like to know if you would like there to be other enchantments on the replacement, this could be an opportunity to grant her a new ability or give her some kind of protection from certain types of magic, basically anything you can come up with.

maybe give her the ability to use her wings in her Pegasi form and better concealment from scrying magic.

I think we can make that work if a higher form of transformative magic is used. We can say the replacement item grants her at least some Pegasus magic, that way she can fly and walk on clouds, maybe even manipulate the weather, but that's up to you.
