I tried to play along with Sorrow's decision, giving her my best playful pout just to convince the only zebra in our small group but hey! Maybe there's a lot more zebra than I thought, maybe Legion had a couple of them inside of that small rodent skull. To our relief, Tepe didn't seem to see through our lies.

“Alright. Windy, be careful next time. You might break somepony's nose if you do that again”

My ears drooped “Sorry” I was still mad for making fun of my obsession, but what's more important is to keep his ghostly status hidden away from him, that is until Sorrow decided to tell him In the right time in the right place or when the time comes when Tepe can accept his status without going into berserk and becoming a destroyer If worlds like Autumn almost did.

As if nothing happened, Tepe, I've further details into his explanation “I would suggest you two should wear goggles or any other glasses, but not the ones like Windy had” a genuine pout formed in me, “Then, we should buy mane and tail wigs. It's not always effective but let's give it a try. We also have to keep our cutie marks hidden as it serves as our identification. We still have to avoid those gangs, they could be everywhere so we have to be careful” not bad advice, but I still wonder if everypony could see mane's through our wigs. Of course our pursuers have brains.

...

Flinty's POV

We lost them...

But if we give up, Needle would have us executed or something worse than that. I, Blunt, and Shackle desperately tried looking for them anywhere now, but no matter we went, no matter where we look, there's no sign of our targets.

“I guess we have to face mare from Tartarus named Needle do we?”

I snapped at Blunt “We are not going back unless we have them with us! Are you letting Needle's faith go to waste!? We have to keep going!”

“Sure. thanks, Thanks Molotov- Mmnff!”

A sharp clang echoed around them. Luna, who was expecting to eat a couple of more fries looked at what she was biting, and it turns out to be a plate. Behind her, she could hear Blue snickering.

“Sorry, I may have ate them all while you were busy listening to them" Blue spoke up.

Charir curiously listened as he was surrounded by new sounds, the train spooked him a bit but other than that he was mostly just curious about everything, it was good he didn't share his sister's extra sense, as he would most likely have been overwhelmed the whole time if he did. The amount of weird smells was also slightly overwhelming, but seeing the lack of reaction from the two older dragons made it bit easier to ignore. This was true for all the dragons too, even those who seemed to follow them for short moments, if Charir would have been alone, he would most likely have lost it, running away and hiding somewhere, but the same thing that caused him feel wary with Ruby, kept him calm now,  because while their kind may not treat their kids well, they were quite protective of them, not because they cared necessarily, but because of their pride, who wanted to be so weak they let their young offspring get harmed? It also helped that Leviathan was very obviously protective of him, Charir may not understand the concept of caring fully, but he could tell he was being cared about.

Ruby ignored everything going around, or well, at least she seemingly did, in truth she was paying attention to everything going on around them, she just used everything but her vision to do so, the difference to Charir was that she had no risk of getting overwhelmed, partly because her experience with living among ponies as a seemingly easy target had told her what could be ignored as normal pony nonsense, and partly because her general experience in life had involved lot of risk assessing.

The guard would have the same treatment as everything else, Ruby just seemingly ignored him, and from Charir he only got a curious look before the young dragon looked away again.

While the rich neighborhood was bit distracting with the amount of treasure added to everything else shiny in a average pony city, she had learned to ignore it relatively well, after all, it was a sense among the others, and like you could ignore a bad smell after a while, she could ignore the treasure she knew she could get to. She actually found it bit amusing any time she ended up in places like this, the rich ponies most likely have spend lot of effort and money to hide their treasures in their mansions, and here was she, a dragon who could tell exactly where they were, if there was a metal vault or other such thing protecting it, and exactly how much they had in there, she would enjoy scaring the nobles with that information, but she didn't want to deal with guards.

Ruby returned the condescending look towards the ponies, after all, she was also technically speaking a rich pony, and she knew how to act like one.

"Ah, the rich snobs of Canterlot, their self-importance rivals that of the worst of dragons', yet they are pathetic even for a pony." "And very disloyal, I have had harder time seducing a lone drunk than one of them, in some cases I got both of them, I could probably cause a huge scandal from just what I did personally if I cared for such." they never even asked for her name.

If the gate was open Ruby would make her way to the door, and if not, she would do whatever seemed to be the way to get someone's attention to open said gate.

"The park sound like the best option." Scarecrow said after a second of thinking "The market sounds bit too populated for now and our appearances fit better to a park." and for wandering, while it was most preferred to him as it was likely the option with least creatures, he knew that totally avoiding crowds would only hinder him from learning, besides, more creatures there was around, less attention one specific creature got "I also believe the market has bigger likelihood to have unpleasant creatures who may cause problems, as it is a busy area and hurry seems to make creatures act unpleasant."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Onache...persuaded the doctor to change the question, Trox moved his tail nonchalantly, it didn't look like anything but it actually had a purpose, he purposely moved it in a way that the metal part at tip of his tail was clearly visible to the doctor, he knew that the doctor would start wondering about Sheska's injury eventually again, and hoped that seeing the part would give him enough information to infer what the cause may be, because as much as he appreciated Onache's efforts to protect his sister from painful memory, he was worried about the effect of constant mind altering for the poor pony who was just doing his job.

"Something that doesn't hinder normal actions and is easy to maintain, other than that it doesn't really matter what it's like."  Sheska answered regarding the covering, she wasn't picky, she also didn't object to the doctor's closer examination, in fact, she was bit surprised he actually asked rather than just telling her what to do, the doctors where they came from usually just did what they needed to and you could complain later, not that anyone actually read those complaints.

Sheska looked at the temporary tail-tip for a second before simply stating "Sure" as she positioned her tail so that it could be attached "It will do the trick as you said, and I have never had something so colorful before, it's pretty." it wasn't like colors didn't exist for them, of course they did, but in the Night-Realm everything was shades of blue and grey, and even if you found something that was more colorful, it was so dark everywhere that you never got to see the colors in their full beauty. Sheska was also a hoarder, it had to be pretty ugly for her to say no to having something.

“I… am aware.” Sen paused for a moment, trying to figure out how to word what comes next. He had an inkling of the kind of work Rosa did, but he wouldn’t discount the good he has shown and is capable of doing. “I may not know what truly goes on in his line of work, but I know my friend has a good heart despite that. We worked together, and I’ve seen for myself the good he can do.”

Sen knew he couldn’t say a lot more out of fear that he might slip up and say something wrong. What is certain is that he believes Rosa is good despite the unsavory work that goes into being a spy. There’s already enough proof of him using his knowledge and skills for the benefit of others. The self-defense lesson, meeting with the elder, even learning Equestria and its inhabitants, all of these were good on their own, but truly knowing about the thestral was what cemented Sen’s certainty.

Time spent traveling with each other was enough for the siblings, especially Sen, to see Rosa as a good mentor and a better friend. It is hard to say otherwise at this point on, even if someone who knew the kind of reputation Rosa had, were to refute the longma’s claims. Sen knows to stand by his friend. Knowing what’s to come, he’d do what he can to speak up.

At the same time, Lin stood by with Rosa as she watched her brother speak with Soul. She could hear a few words here and there, though speaking with the thestral at the moment was where her attention was focused.

“Oh, I’m definitely coming back and meeting with Banshee. I couldn’t pass up the chance to learn more from them. I guess Sen could benefit more from learning about dark magic and how it’s not inherently a bad thing. I’ve accepted and firmly believe that despite my history with it, but he doesn’t.”

“You know, all this time traveling and meeting other creatures…. It feels good, but the best parts are the quiet moments when I could just take it all in. I enjoyed having conversations and finding some common interests with Amethyst, Banshee, Omen, even you.”

Lin paused and reveled at the thought, perhaps having learned something about herself in the process. Their whole adventure together may have had its rough moments, but there was no doubt she knows the good it did for her. That much is true as well for Sen, and it'll be sobering to go back home to really see for themselves just how much their adventure has changed them.

Ginger tried to suck the joy up through her fangs, it was a slow and janky process. She got frustrated and just put a spoonfull of it into her mouth.

"I kind of feel a bit bad, I feel like I'm supposed to know these things, but I don't, and it's kinda frustrating, like it's supposed to come naturally to me, but it doesn't."  she sighed. She then figured she'd just stick to the foods  she could  eat properly.

"Sorry I've probably killed the happy mood." she apologized.

Silica would just look at the goo version of her and giggle slightly "It's almost correct" she'd say as she and Orchid would ignore it for the most part and continue along their way. "Seems there is someone here who does not want us to reach our destination" she chuckles "Well, too bad I have the ever observant Orchid with me" she would say and then nod at his remark "That is sadly true, it takes a lot of time and effort to change someone's prejudices" she'd mention to him, looking to him "So uh..which path do you think we ought to take?"

This kind of behavior was rather quite common for the mare, and to a slightly lesser extent, the average Manehatten at this point.  It made it all the easier to tell the difference between the regulars in the diner and those the passed through on a fancy.  Such things didn't bother Dawn though and the looks from said non-regulars had already become a thing to be forgotten.  Dawn paid little attention but appeared all the more comfortable in the environment she'd taken them to.  Running her hoof through the menu for weekly specials while the witch of the wilds worked on getting her hoofs steady.  This diner pleased Dawn for different types of pancakes they came up with on a weekly basis.

When Lily finally was able to gather herself enough to take a seat on the stool next to her, she made sure to point out the menu set out.  Even if Lily couldn't read Equestrian Ponish, at least every item was complete with an artfully taken pictures of the food items they offer.  "This is quite real darling.  Does it not smell divine?" Dawn mused, but now she could tell the other mare was a little more rattled by her magic than expected.  "The spell I used may be more unique than a portal or typical teleportation spell, I can assure you it was teleportation nonetheless.  Is it not more convenient to see where you'll be appearing when exiting?" she asked.  A typical teleportation spell is a cast and forget.  Once you're on your way, your destination is set.  Dawn's spell allows her to easily change her position as needed when arriving at her location before fully manifesting.  Why teleport into the line of fire by accident when one can pick a different location to appear based on what is happening in the moment.  The feeling can be rather jarring at first, as it feels the location is moving to the pony rather than the pony moving to the location.

"A pancake is like a sweet flat bread adorned with fruits and/or sweets and various syrups.  General rule of hoof, if it looks good, it'll likely taste good.  Just look through the menu and see what might call to your taste buds" she chuckled.  Raises her hoof she waved the waitress over.  A young mare, likely a part timer for some extra Bits after school, trotted over with notebook in hoof.  Not the usual waitress Dawn is use to seeing, but that happens from time to time.  "I'll try the Berry Blast Pancakes and a coffee, dear," Dawn made her order.  The waitress scribbled it down on her notepad with a pencil in her mouth.  Taking a step over to take Lily's order next.

Billowing let out an impressed whistle at seeing the fireball that had just engulfed, and cremated the risen. These were all old bones, collecting dust in the bottom of this even older temple. They were pretty much kindling at this point. Which sadly were shown, when that one had caught fire, and it started to spread to some of the other bones. Some of which rose up, and moved towards them.

"I draw the line at flaming skeletons. Retreat! Let them burn themselves out."

He'd grab hold in his companion, and make a dashing sprint towards the only exit that were workable, as the way up were blocked with flames and risen: That being the path further inside.

Fuchsia's eyes also lit up as the flames danced in the shadows of the cavernous temple basement. She didn't have too much time to contemplate its firey majesty though as Billowing hurries her away from the burned undead.

Quote

There'd be no traps found beyond here. No long hallway, or depictions of anything. Just scorched walls in a short hallway, before it opened up into a larger room. The center of the temple, if he were to make a wager.

Four statues of deer were there, standing in each their corner, and looking towards the middle. They all seemed to depict in details, the buck from earlier, judging by the horns, and really made for an intimidating sight, as the scribbles hadn't done him justice.

otFrom their horns, ran two chains. One onyx, and another one green. The onyx one seemed almost new and polished, while the other one were partially overtaken by moss, grass, and her minor overgrowths.

They gathered in the middle, where they each were attached to a hook near the final links, with the last few of each chain, gathering up at a central lock, depicting a feline head. And what were it they were holding up in hooks, and locking down? A sarcophagus. Thick stone and covered in glowing runes, beneath the chains. There indeed seemed to have been something locked up here, a long time ago.

Fuchsia took everything in while gasping from the retreat and the general spookiness of the situation. As she catches her breath her large lilac eyes find the silhouetted deer-heads and she staggers back, stumbling into chains, until she turns and sees the final foul feline lock D:

Quote

Beneath it, if they looked, they'd find something nor scorched. A tablet, with old writing chiseled into it. As there were not much else to look at right now, and he were curious, Billowing went over and ran his hooves over it.

"*...Here we lie the vessel, in which we pour our curse. May his sacrifice be forgotten, and his name swallowed by time.* Now that seems kinda harsh I would say."

The risen were nearing though, so they had to do something soon. There were a few exits, but trying to go through any of them, would set off a trap. Though there were a path, which would take a choice: If they toppled one of the statues, they could cause a chain reaction, that would have them end up falling over one another, and function as steps they could use to reach an exit further up, where it seemed there had once been stairs to, that were then removed. One couldn't say what would happen with the object in the room though, but if they wanted to survive, they were likely going to need to do this, and see what came of it.

Fuchsia reels back from the lock, which she senses is malevolent and - dream-catcher in hoof tries the exits only to find them trapped with foul magic! She hears Billowing's voice intone about the curse on this place and the crunch of burning bone on the temple flags and she is about to give up. Briefly, images of Roseberry (her mother) and Crabtree (her father) and her whole life on the farm pass before her eyes, but she shakes herself and wills herself to believe it is not the end. As she does that, he eyes inspect the deer statues more closely and above that.. a way out!

"There's a way! Up there! Help me knock these over." she says urgently, already toppling a deer statue and gesturing desperately towards the high up exit. Luckily that statue topples into another and soon the way to the exit is easily prancible by a pony. Hopefully it is not so easily accessed by the burning calcium behind them... "This way!" Fuchsia says, already clambering ahead.

"Spies are glorified thieves and assassins. Their job, is solely to gather information, and they will do anything to do that.  Pretend to be your best friends for decades, build a life with others in the community, and yes, even kill, if that's what it takes. There is nothing a good spy wouldn't do, to get to the information they have been ordered to gather.

I'm not saying he has done that, but you can be sure that he were trained to kill, manipulate, and torture. I have personally extracted information from spies before, even if I haven't gotten any from the Ravenshine Consortium, and their skillset is more cruel than you might think. And them? His flock? They are among the worst of them all. Breaking limits even murderers wouldn't think about, to get what they want, and being annoyingly effective at it. They have caused trouble in several countries, including Equestria, but there's just no evidence to work with. You see now why it is valuable to capture one of them? What information they might be able to divulge?"

Soul stared intensely at Sen as he spoke, and made sure to speak clearly, so that the odd creature would get the gravitas in this situation. His *friend*, may well be an imposer, using him, like their kind so often did, and it were foolish to let him live in a fantasy world, where Sen would think that everything were perfectly okay, and there were nothing to worry about. Reality didn't work that way.

"I'm not going to bring him in, as I have my orders, but I would strongly urge you to think very, very carefully about whatever or not, you truly trust him. Maybe he only confided a small portion in you, to endear himself to you, and further his own goal."

"I tire of this paranoia. You want to know something that is true? Something you can confirm with your general?

I already turned myself in, and are just trying to enjoy one evening, before facing judgement. You think there is any hidden agenda to that? To openly expose my work relations, right into the hooves of the Equestrian government?"

Rosa's interruption, genuinely surprised Soul, though he didn't seem to be fazed for long. A brief second really, before he were back at starring at the thestral.

"I don't trust anypony doesn't have a hidden agenda. You of all, should know the value of doubt."

They both seemed to have a small nod there, and some common ground. Paranoia were indeed a valuable thing when it came to their jobs. Or in Rosa's case, previous job.

“You know, all this time traveling and meeting other creatures…. It feels good, but the best parts are the quiet moments when I could just take it all in. I enjoyed having conversations and finding some common interests with Amethyst, Banshee, Omen, even you.”

After that, Rosa would turn back towards Lin again, and clear his throat.

"My apologies. I'd just rather deal with this, than things flaring up over there. I assumed Sen would either get annoyed by hearing that, and start to lash out, or would start to actually worry. Some things as wiser to deal with promptly. And no, I do not have some secondary plan with this. getting captured by law enforcement, that knows who you are, are pretty much the top of the list of things never to do, in my former line of work.

As for what you say about dark magic, I do think it's good to be educated, but do please remember that Sen's skepticism about it, are valid. Using dark magic, is to wander on a thin line. If you fail to keep control, it could well kill you, as you know from experience. So try to both learn from it, see the positives, yet understand the dangers, and see if there are something there that can educate you. Might be you could learn safe ways to harness it another time, if that is what you feel drawn to one day again, even if I am neither endorsing, nor forbidding it. I am merely stating that information is wise to have in advance, for anything.

But let's not be grave with everything. As you also said, there are nice times to focus on. Like these quiet moments, or meeting other creatures, and calmly interact with them. I'm sure the hectic situations are more fun for anyone who'd ask what we had done, but I do agree, that there were good, solid moments of quiet to enjoy. Quiet does not describe this place, but ah, there is a festive atmosphere. You can hardly expect it to be silent."

"It is, which is why I scry. This... Limbo you placed us in, were unnerving. in comparison."

Had she still been old and frail, Lily would have needed to lay down for a bit after the experience frankly, as it had been both paranoid inducing, and made her a little shaky. And that were with her younger self being her status quo. At her actual age, this would have been potentially dangerous.

But in the end, should she not have expected this, in some fashion? Dawn were a mare of flair, and doing things her own, strange ways, seemed to be par for the course. And she did not know much about Lily, nor did it matter what she had just been thinking about that really, as she again, wasn't old and frail now. Dawn could only judge on what reality she saw: A mare dressed in pretty bland, somewhat coarse, brown clothing, that could handle this, and should have in some way, expected them to travel in an odd fashion.

In a sense, Lily really only had herself to blame for not thinking something weird would occur. Though she reserved her right to be wary of the validity of reality here. Smells and such could be faked after all, just as anything visual could. But she'd take her hostess's word on this currently, and pick up the menu, to see what were there.

Equine were thankfully a pretty universal language to go by, considering the world were mostly populated by them, and its simplicity, tended to make others adapt to it easily too. Unless it went into obscure, old versions, but that were the same with any language. Ancient Harrowish would essentially be gibberish to anyone listening to it now. Including ponies from Harrowmark itself, that had been using standardized equine for well over a millennia by now.

That being said, she didn't know what all the words meant, as they described dishes she had never spotted before, but the descriptions should help some.

"Hmm... I suppose I should attempt to indulge this local urge for sweetness then, and try these *Pancakes* too. With blackberries, and whatever this *syrup* is. At least the berries will be familiar in taste."

She'd look up towards the young mare who came in to take their order, and saw her scribbling down. The young worked too where she came from, but it were not this kind of thing. This job seemed... Calmer, and more of a nice start for a youngling, than general farm work. Sure she had to deal with customers, of which not all were nice, but she also didn't have to plow the fields, and fend off various rogue entities that tried to chip away at whatever meager gains you could potentially have from said work, after Twisted had gotten his share. A chicken here and there, meant a lot more, when you were not allowed more than a set amount, and replacing some took time and resources, that were already scarce.

"Can I ask you something? The sweetness in this dish, is it from real sugar? Or an alternative? I'm curious what their sweetness would come from, if not sugar."

She were used to it coming from bugs, which she assumed wasn't the case here. Mostly because to keep a place running, that constantly needed sweetness, you'd need a dedicated farm for it, and she didn't see any, so she assumed it were either real sugar used here, or Equestria had another way of getting their sweet taste. Though, they could probably not sell Harrowmark on that idea. Sugar plants? Sure. But the bugs were something they knew, and farming them were an old professions, that could now start up again. There'd be those who would prefer this option, over anything synthetic they might put up as a suggestion, to for example the traditionalists, or those who had allergies.

As for the waitress... This might be weird for her, but Lily didn't think much on how it might seem to her, to be asked this. A bit of a culture clash, but one of the most harmless ones. Besides, she had likely heard weirder questions, yes? Some beings were really finnicky with their food.

==================================================================

@Scarlet Rose

"None I would say, for why show us the proper way? Let us walk and enjoy a leisurely walk, and distract from the weirdness, with some more talk."

He had barely said this, and taken a step off the path, before the whole thing suddenly went to a screeching halt, and got normal again. Including the path itself being exactly where it were before, as if it had never been moved.

In front of them on said path though, would sprout a flowering bud. And from that, would come a lager flower in another color, and so on, and so forth, until there would be a flower about a head higher than Orchid, with a sunflower face. Yellow, pony-like eyes, and a jagged mouth, like you'd see on a carved pumpkin.

Said flower would then look right down on the two of them, with a frustrated look going over its face.

"Y'know, you two, are no fun. Not a scream, barely any confusion. You even wanted to go off the road! Where's the fun in all of this? At least my other playmates are reacting to things. Including Goodriella. It hurts her feelings when she'd ignored you know?"

The goo creature would be near them still, and gazing at Silicon with dripping eyes. She seemed not bothered by things, and just had some focus on the newest one whose looks she had copied.

"Are you here to force us into a game, of insanity of flame?"

"Fire? in this forest? Pffff. No way. I like it here. Just stop being boring. At least like, sing, or do something cool. What can you do?"

The flower would use a long petal like an arm, and point towards Silicon first. The zebra were definitely no fun, so maybe this one would be? At least a teensy bit? She wasn't asking for much here! Just something funny.

===================================================================

@GingerLightning

"We'll just do this on training wheels then."

Which meant that a few seconds later, a straw would be placed in front of Ginger. Sure she could just use a spoon or something, but this were perfectly good, and would be one step closer to eating like a changeling.

"Some nymphs have issues drinking properly at first too, so straws tends to be used until they get the hang of it. Nothing wrong with needing to go slowly at it like them too, Ginger. We all progress at our own pace, and you never had a hive to teach you these things. Nopony would expect you to know and do everything perfect, with that in mind. And if they did, they're stupid."

Cheshire also made sure to get a bag of doggie biscuits to feed to the pupper. Sure he weren't an actual dog, but he were close enough, and still seemed to enjoy these quite a lot. Such a good pet that one were. Unusual sure, yet who were they to judge?

"Are there any other things you don't really know how to do, that you know other changelings does, Ginger? Maybe we can help with that."

Which she would agree, were a terrible mental imagine. Doubly so if you had seen that sort before, which sadly, she had.

On 2021-03-29 at 10:18 PM, Magnolia said:

Magnolia would nod slowly. "Right. Like shadows, my secrets do not need to be revealed to those who I do not know. I never asked this before...but do you live anywhere? I didn't...I would just go from place to place. Maybe a good start would be settling down somewhere. Just an idea..." Magnolia would force an awkward grin. But she understood and supported the way Zeehva had been thinking here.

"I have a place, yes. In the more broken down part of Canterlot. It's central, so it were simpler to get to the places I had to."

It were also quiet there, and with no complaints from others nearby, as not a lot lived there, currently. So she could tinker with her potions and elixirs in peace. As well as get her assignments from Scarcity, though she supposed, those weren't needed anymore.

"When we get there someday, I can show you. Just uhm... P-Please excuse the mess. I'm not there all that much, so sometimes it gets a little dusty."

On 2021-03-29 at 10:18 PM, Magnolia said:

Magnolia would chuckle a bit darkly at the way Dolt shrugged off such a dark topic. It could be seen as a more nervous laugh, but it was hard to tell. And as for Dolt's comment's, she would strike some sort of pose as she answered the question. "I do not wish to divulge in the secrets of that I keep, but I'll show you a little example of what it is." she'd say somewhat pridefully as she increased the size of the shadows around her hooves and made them swirl up around her legs and complicated intricate patterns.

"I can tell there is plenty of that which you do not know about this world. What you don't know can either make, or break you." she'd smile awkwardly. She was not one for conversation, really. Her words would come off with a strange tone and wording to him in all likelihood.

Dolt let out a drawn out whistle as he saw the display. Though he weren't looking like he were afraid, or even nervous about the mojo he were watching. More just impressed at the show, and thinking it something he didn't get to see a lot of. Like seeing one of his most cautious friends, get a tattoo, and finding it real impressive he had the guts.

"Well That ain't something you see every day. You cursed, or is it just some sorta shady magic? Not judging, not judging. Just curious here. Never really get to see dark magic of any sort in Equestria, what with all the harmony flowing through it and all.

But like you said: Plenty I don't know. Difference is I got some millennia to learn it, so really, what's the rush? Beyond school, but that's more to do with the sorta short term goals. Short term for a dragon at least. Still spans like, the life of you, and the next three generations of your offspring at least."

He'd remain jovial and nice to them, as he went into a big grin, which chowed off some rather impressively shiny teeth. Seems like he's one of those dragons who take pride in keeping their dental set up to spec.

He also weren't dumb, and could hear the sort of way Magnolia spoke, and see how she acted, as ways to signal she were probably dangerous. If the dark magic wasn't clue enough, eh? But he figured that if they had gotten a ride from Gretha, they sure couldn't be bad ponies, right? She were usually a pretty good judge of character, and far as he were concerned, that were good enough for him. Unless one of them started to stab him. He'd question things then for sure, since that seemed a little aggressive.

Magnolia and Zeehva might soon be indulging n more than the chat though, as they had now arrived at their destination. A towering, sprawling metropolis, making Canterlot seem silent and snoozing by comparison, laid itself out in front of them. A whole town to explore, and see what wonders one might find there, yet that were not where they were landing. Though Gretha would give them a few minutes to marvel at the city. From what she understood, it were usually rather grand for most ponies, as a lot came from smaller towns and communities, or at least more calm areas. Hard to find much in the way of calm on any given day in Deltrot. Another reason why she slept in the forest instead. It were far more quiet.

Eventually though, she would begin to slowly land, on a large, open area, where several claw marks in the stone, would make it clear that this were Gretha's usual landing spot. Nothing else could really make those deep gouges like that, except for another large dragon. Or potentially something really sharp and heavy, landing on the side, but Gretha seemed more likely.

She'd lean down towards the ground, and reach a hand up to lift her small passengers off her back when it were, and down to have a good look at the harbor they were in. Not one populated by a lot of tourist and private boats, but larger ones, carrying shipments of various goods, that were then taken off the ramps by teams of unicorns, working in tandem. A few machines were there to help in places, but they did their to keep the harbor clean. Not Shark Bay clean, but frankly, nothing could keep up to those standards.

"Welcome to Deltrot, little friends."

Sweet ancestors, she went with it, and Tepe fell for it. Phew. This could have ended up poorly otherwise.

How poorly? Well, there were a lot of things that could trigger a poltergeist, and well... Being confronted with how you were dead, were one way to trigger a potential mental crash. It wasn't something that were easy to accept after all, and on the better side of the ways he could take that, were just denial, and potentially running away from them. With the worst being that he were confronted about it at a time when he wouldn't be able to accept it, and go into a mental spiral, that's cause him to go crazed, and lash out in anguish. And the older the spirit, the more havoc could be created in those situations. Just look at what Autumn had done, and magnify that.

Not a guarantee it would go that way of course. Some spirits were just naturally stronger than others. But age did tend to lead to more hardened souls, statistically speaking. So it were more likely to make the previous ordeal, seem like a walk in the park, had Tepe gone that way.

"Y-Yes, sounds like a plan. Though we could just- Or well, I could at least, wear a dress. That covers the tail, and cutie marks. Windy could too, over the outfit, yes? Then I dunno. Sun glasses? Long as we were out during the day, that would look normal at least. Could also have mane's bundled up in hats.

But I think the most important, is to stay close, and be in crowded areas. It's harder for anypony to just take us away, if there are witnesses everywhere, yes? But where exactly should we be going? To the docks, and take a boat away, with others? I dunno if that's too obvious, or if they'd think we would try and escape further inland."

A lot to think about, but at least they had a plan to work with, right? That were going to be important for this ordeal. And an ordeal it were going to be. She couldn't imagine this going nice and smoothly at least. Something were bound to muck up. She just had to hope they could still get through it.

“I guess we have to face mare from Tartarus named Needle do we?”

I snapped at Blunt “We are not going back unless we have them with us! Are you letting Needle's faith go to waste!? We have to keep going!”

They might find that keeping this from Needle were harder than they had first thought, as a certain little rat were out, and observing them. Or well, not a rat so much, as a diamond dog runt. A frail little thing, that were about as much worth in a fist fight as a sleeping timberwolf pup, but did have two traits of worth. One being that she were nimble, and very, very hard to catch. The other being that she were loyal without fault to a certain doctor, who were waiting for results.

Officially, Pop Rock were an orphan, that were wandering town and getting through life at her own pace. ultimately harmless to most, and didn't steal, so it were rare that anyone had a problem with the frail little diamond dog, wandering around with her sturdy leather outfit. A gift from Needle, to both show she appreciated her service, and to help her hide the scars that first got the two into contact. A rather nasty territory attack, that she had to save the pup from, years back, when Pop were rolled in to her hospital.

Unofficially, she were an errand girl, and one that Needle sent out, when she needed to have eyes on the situation, while she couldn't be there herself. She didn't always make use of her, but she found that cases like this, she didn't fully trust the goons enough, so she'd rather send one that she did, to observe things. Though at times, she did lend her out to the boss, or others of prominence. However, she were rather strict about them not mistreating Pop. They could be dismissive, and rude as they wanted, but if she found even a bruise, they were going to regret it. Though others rarely had a reason to do so, as she did what she could to be helpful too, when needed. Such as now.

"Ponies gone, yes? Afraid of mistress? Maybe I help? See many ponies, know many escapes. Maybe we find them, and make mistress happy?"

She were tentatively looking up at them from her position near the wall, and spoke to them in the broken equine that their kind often did, with an eager look in her eyes. If it made Needle happy to find whoever they were looking for, she would definitely help. Anything for her.

The way the snobs halted, and looked back with a narrowed *How DARE they?!* look, made it obvious that they had heard what Ruby said, and gotten very insulted by it. As intended, no doubt, as ponies like that weren't much worth in even the minds of other ponies. And dragons? Pff. Equines like that should know their place, which were most certainly not above dragons.

"Well said ma'am."

The glimmering look in Leviathan's eye, spoke of a cruel amusement in what she heard just then, and how it affected the ones that had just gone past. Even if her words didn't say it directly, she were lavishing great praise towards Ruby for that putdown. Though she did certainly want to hear more of these things she had done some other time. There were likely something to be learned from that, about the dragoness. Her methods in getting riches, for example, which seemed more unusual than most others she knew about.

As for the gate, it were indeed not open. But it would soon be, as a griffon exited the house, and came wandering at some speed to the gate. When there, the female would open it up, and keep the gate open as she left. She recognized the two from her time in Cloudsdale, so she assumed they were legitimate in their reason for being here, even if she didn't say anything. In parts because she had a big chunk of raw boar meat in her blood-soaked beak.

Ruby might remember this one, as the one her most favorite bird had been chatting up at the bar where she met Leviathan. Same necklace of teeth and everything, just also a bit more roughed up looking, and with stains of blood on her talons, scattered across the feathers on her upper body, and face. All boar though.

As they wandered in, Leviathan would close the gate behind them, if Ruby didn't, and they could make their way towards the spacious house. Not spacious enough for a full Ruby, but plenty enough for the two others. And they wouldn't have to go far to find something of note. Mainly in the foyer itself, where a certain pompous griffon, were currently brushing his head-feathers back, and standing with a very satisfied look on his face, over the scattered remains of a large, wild boar.  Might be he had gotten the drapes off first, but this were still going to be annoying as all heck to clean up. And yet, he didn't seem to care one, singular bit about that. Nor the blood on his own person, as he had clearly taken part in the slaughter as well.

"Mmmm, what a delightfu- Ooh, it seems I have company. Hello there. I apologize the mess, but Jezebel and I have had a rousing good time getting to know one another, and you caught me just after the fact. She's a feisty lady, that I can tell you.

To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?"

(i can't remember if he met Charir, but if he hadn't, he'd ask into whom this little bundle of joy were)

The park it were then, and truly, it would be a nice, calm sight to behold, once they got there.

Large trees, spottily shading some benches here and there, for those who liked to sit without the sun in their eyes. Families wandering around with big smiles on their faces, and playing with their foals, as they wandered down the well cared for dirt roads, that made for the paths within the park.

The pond as always drew some families with younger ones in, as it were a good gathering point, and the adults could have some talks, while the younglings fed the abundant duck population bread. You could hardly see a face not in big smiles, and those who were not, were mostly due to being potentially tired, or just having a walk to get the tress out of their system. They'd likely go calm and happy again as time went on.

And then there were them. The hawk sitting on the head of a seeming evergreen, that were looking around, with its head jerking in various directions to really take in all the sights.

And Lyriel, who would start by bowing down to a bush, and put her hooves in it, with a pleased smile on her face.

"Here too, I feel them be at peace with their place. The plants here are well taken care of."

"And it ain't easy work."

A middle aged mare with a large hat, to cover her eyes from the sun, would speak up like that, and give them the cheeky little comment before wandering off with a barrel of tools. She had plenty enough to do, and not a whole bunch of time to do it in.

"Seems like a nice, calming place to just wander aimlessly, and enjoy a slice of nature, within the confines of this town.

It is probably best they cannot hear what the ducks are saying though. Their demands for more bread, comes with less than foal friendly words."

The nurse gleefully attached the tail covering, which might pinch a little at first, and in case it started to become uncomfortable, any mentioning of that, would result in her adjusting it to make sure it didn't feel bad, in any sort of way.

Once it were done, there should be a nice, comfy, yet close fit, that would cover the exposed portion of the tail, and work as a good cover, until they could get a properly one made.

"Alright, we have the measurements, and a temporary solution... Yes. We will try and make it fit your current coloring as best we can, though be advised that there could go some days before we have it done. Good work takes time, and we'd prefer it fit as snuggly as possible, and without there being flaws that would cause pain, or make it something that would require replacing, anytime soon. I'd cautiously say a week or so. Better to err on the side of possible delays, just in case."

"An acceptable timeframe. Will there be more?"

"It sounded like my patients didn't have anything else, so unless something have changed there, we should have what we need. Just remember to please stay in the area, and if something goes wrong - anything at all - please get back here with all due haste. I'd like to think that we have everything under control, but sadly, we are not perfect, and could miss something. If nothing manifests within the next few days though, everything should be okay."

The nurse though, were not so much focused on that, as much as pointing at the colorful tail tip, with a big grin, still plastered on her face.

"You make that thing look good, girl. You'd do real good with a splash of color here and there, to really flourish."

Sides, there's some good small hives here. Like Hive Cheshire. They make some rocking theater in Las Pegasus, and they're tiny. Like a dozen strong or so.

The ones you know of though, they a big issue, or more like a minor one, as they are alone, and don't have a lot of varied hives out there, that could work together to really cause trouble? Mighty curious on this actually."

"There are better sources we use such as Nuclear, Solar, and wind power. I don't know if you've heard of Nuclear power, its basically splitting apart certain atoms to create energy. The downside is, if the plant melts down or explodes, it will result in radioactive fallout but the ones we have in the modern day are far more upgraded and safer than the ones we had in the old days. My world is trying to move away from petroleum based fuels to switch to other sources, but it is a process that will take decades. There are other sources such as Thorium, a mineral that is far easier to mine, you get more power for a smaller amount, and it is far safer to use. There have been a few test trials and it's expected to begin main use within the next few years as far as I knew."

Molotov would lean in before answering this one, so that he could whisper the answer. Wouldn't want any noisy folks listening in on his answer to this.

"No telling anypony, but the energy via atoms, were something we theorized in Center Zero, and I'm running a modified version of what we were able to get to work, to power my gals. If Carmen got really damaged, she could end up levelling the entirety of a few blocks. Really ain't easy to craft solid stuff for this, but there ain't batteries big enough to do the job."

Big shush on that one, but yeah. Carmen and Felicia were both powered by something of this sort, and boy howdy, if those power cores got damaged, it'd spell disaster for sure.

"What about that ore to power idea you speak of? That's the sort you go for in a factory, or can it be condensed into smaller stuff? Always looking for safer, long term power supply. Ain't easy to keep my workshop running after all. Takes a lot of power."

If there were anything to work with here, to get him a more solid battery, that were less reliant on a ton of programs to keep it stable, within his spiderbots, he'd be all ears.

“Sure. thanks, Thanks Molotov- Mmnff!”

A sharp clang echoed around them. Luna, who was expecting to eat a couple of more fries looked at what she was biting, and it turns out to be a plate. Behind her, she could hear Blue snickering.

“Sorry, I may have ate them all while you were busy listening to them" Blue spoke up.

"Awh, that ain't nice. She needs happy munchies too. Friends should share, right?"

She sure shared with her friends, that were certain. Granted, her friends had been mostly in the orphanage at first, and the things she shared were fireworks, that the headmistress did not approve of, yet had no idea how Blitz even made in the first place. She also shared fireworks with future friends, like the CMC, and Stormy. And Pinkie! Definitely Pinkie. All the way down to building a replica party cannon, to give her as a gift, to really show how much she appreciated the crazy, pink party pony. She had gotten a nice hug, and some kind words for that. It had been a good day.

Anyway, she shared her fun explosives, and in her mind, that were because they were her friends. If Blue and Luna were friends, they should share stuff too, like pancakes, instead of one just munching down them all. Unless they had shared, and Blue just meant she had taken the last ones? It were sorta hard to say, as she had been focused on her own food for a while, so she hadn't bit a lot of notice in it.

"You wanna stay and have more pancakes before we leave? I can take Blue on a fun trip while you eat, so she doesn't get sneaky with more of your food, hehe. We could go chase after springs in the scrapyard! It's an amazing place. So full of potential fun stuff!"

Blitz were hyping herself up, as she now had some energy to get going with, and practically bounced in place, ready to go and do something. Really, all that kept them here right now, were that none of them had yet to take the first step outside. Which they probably should, before they got stuck to some of the furniture in here.

Smokey would watch the display with some degree of worry and horror, as the statues were toppled, and one by one, went crashing into one another. Though the concern were not so much with the statues, as what they had been holding up. The box would start to swing and crash around as the first chain slacked, and bash from side to side, rattling around, until it finally laid still among the rubble on the floor.

As she urged them to move on, and use this rubble to ascend with, he wouldn't have gotten more than a single step up, before a loud, distinct clicking sound came forth, and he halted to turn and look down on the box. Just as the old key that had kept it closed, clicked open, and fell dangling towards the ground.

As the spend lock hit the floor, the lid would creak open, and from the sides, would pour darkness out, covering a grand total of- About 10 inches of air, as dark smog. It were fairly unimpressive really, and made it seem like whatever had been there, were spent.

That is, until a hoof rose from it. Followed silently by another, as the being within rose itself, and opened what were meant to be hollow, dead eyes, to gaze upon the room.

A flicker of red were centered in the dark orbs, as the pale, gauze-bound deer would gaze up towards them, and meet at least the eyes of Billowing, though he may well also meet those of Fuchsia, if she too were watching. Tuffs of pink hair, and pale, dry fur, lining dead skin, would poke out between some of the gauze, as well as the horns, marking this as a likely male. Though if it could even be qualified as a deer anymore, were up for debate, as the dream catcher would likely roar out what were painfully obvious without: This was a cursed being. The one in which seemingly, a large amount of other curses had been poured into, to spare the other recipients of whatever fate had awaited them. Likely something that saved them, but truly condemned whoever this were, whom they had clearly not wanted to be remembered, judging from what had been destroyed thus far.

And they had just released him from his prison. A being filled with dark magic, with unknown motives, and it were now free, as well as walking right towards them, one step at a time.

Oddly enough, they could also see that the other undead, would halt their advance, soon as they saw this one, and openly walk out of the room again. They did not want to be near this one, under any circumstances, it appeared.

If they had just run at any point, they'd find the path up, would be rather steep, and actually lead to an area with a wall that had a hole in it, from which a faint breeze could be felt. THere were a road out from here somewhere.

Windy frowned “Wait a minute you were eavesdropping on us?”

Tepe waved his forelegs at her frantically “What? No, no, no, no I didn't!” he chuckled nervously, “Maybe...” he sheepishly grinned at his companions.

Flinty knew the hope of finding the mares Is becoming very slim and going back to Needle without their targets is like facing the sun in close proximity, even the tough Shackle was trembling at the thought of going back. All of them are afraid, not a surprise since Needle is really terrifying for her cold attitude.

No one died and made her the leader of the small group but Flinty knew she had to do something. Perhaps finding help from other goons? No, some goons are very selfish they could not be trusted so what now? Ask the unsuspecting locals if they see a Wonderbolt? No, that would be suspicious. So what now?

It's natural for goons like them to cringe when they heard somebody speaking just like now. For a mare like Flinty, she was able to find the source without difficulty, unlike Shackle and Blunt who are still swiveling their heads.

It was a frail diamond dog runt standing by a wall with an eager look in her eyes. Flinty knew this dog though not so much with her connection to Needle as no one ever knew this runt. She was about something along the lines of 'Hey, aren't you the runt I occasionally seen wandering about in the streets?' But that sounds very impolite, plus this runt offered to help them even claiming she know many escapes done in town. Homeless or not, she find this dog useful and a way to avoid Needle's wrath.

“Do you know the Wonderbolts? Can you tell us if you saw a pegasus wearing blue yellow suit?"

Blue wouldn't say no to 'fun trips' but saying something, like she's taking all the food for herself, had hit a nerve. She gave the filly a sharp semi-glare pout.

Luna lifted an eyebrow “Scrapyard- never mind. Yeah, let's chase each other at the scrapyard just be careful not to get hurt” In her mind, it would a lot better if they play tag in a park, playing in a scrapyard well... Not so much. There could be a lot of potential object can result to injury.

Sen and Lin paused themselves from cutting in to the conversation, though the former felt somewhat ashamed that he couldn’t do more to speak more positively on behalf of his friend. The longma didn’t quite know how to word his defense for Rosa. It is true that he doesn’t know much about the intricacies that are inherent in Rosa’s work, only that it carried a negative reputation. Deep down, Sen trusted Rosa, that much is clear. If the longma were made to turn him over without his knowledge, that wouldn’t fly with him, even if that notion made Sen look like a fool.

Once Rosa turned back to Lin, Sen approached Soul, keeping his composure. “Banshee offered us an invitation to come by some day when there isn’t a carnival happening; maybe we might see each other again in the future. I hope there won’t be hard feelings or mistrust when we next meet.”

The longma bowed to Soul before turning to join the others, still feeling demoralized after getting an earful from Soul. Meanwhile, Lin would pick up on where the conversation left off earlier, clearly still finding it engaging.

“I wouldn’t forget the fun and the experiences here. It’s just…  different, I guess? Meeting other creatures and befriending them because we have something in common? That’s something I didn’t expect. Sen told me it was difficult at first, but taking a chance on getting to know someone else really made a difference. If not, we wouldn’t be enjoying ourselves at a place like this with good friends!”

“And about what you said earlier… I’ll think on it, just like how Sen does. He made his disappointment with me clear when we last talked about that.”

By now, Sen was within earshot, though if he knew what Lin spoke about, he wouldn’t say.

“Rosa, thanks for stepping in back there.

Fuchsia didn't need the wail of the Dream Catcher to tell her the danger. She casts a brief glance behind her in response to Billowing's gasp - heralding the appearance of the being. If Billowing is not already trotting up to the new exit then she will try to drag him away and will run up to where the air is fresher and generally away from it. Her hooves scrabble on the dry stone as she bolts. Any moment she expects to feel necromantic magic seize her and drain her of life. "Don't-let-it-get-me-don't-let-it...." she pants in the gloom as she runs. Later on she will reason that the thing will have to be dealt with... and that they must put it to rest without spreading the curse as penance for waking it. For now though, she just wants to escape and will only stop galloping once the dream catcher is quiet and once she and Billowing have exited the temple.

@Blitz Boom
Ruby just smiled at the ponies, knowing that nothing would annoy them more at this point than a wide friendly smile. She hadn't actually intended them to hear it, but it didn't bother her that they did, it was always nice to hurt the feelings of annoying ponies

Ruby greeted the female griffon with a nod, recognizing her from the bar, but other than that didn't pay much mind to her, even the blood and meat didn't cause any questions since she could smell that it was all from prey rather than Marley or Spicy, not that it necessarily would have changed anything, sure it would have been quite unfortunate, but at least it would have been one less creature who knew the truth.

"So getting dirty doesn't kill you, how unexpected." Ruby stated as the first thing, it was both a joke and a jab at the style obsessed griffon, she then 'pointed' at Charir by nodding with her head towards him "He's Charir, if anyone asks, I'm transporting him for a client." she didn't see a reason to lie to Marley, since she knew that he knew that there was no client. "I'm here to retrieve my things as I'll be heading back to Ponyville."

Charir meanwhile mainly observed things, tilting his head at the nobles and the distaste they felt towards the group of dragons, and vice versa, since he didn't know what was so different between these ponies and for example the guards. He also followed the bloody griffon with his eyes curiously when she moved past them. Other than that, he looked around at the buildings and such.

This didn't change when inside, and Marley would get the same curious head tilt as everything else, though if he tried to touch him, he would get a cloud of smoke as a warning, Charir wasn't scared of this weird predatory bird creature, but he also didn't trust him yet, even if Ruby seemed to.

----------------------------------------------------------------
Scarecrow looked around, he had spend his whole current existence among nature yet this was somehow nicer, maybe it was the light, or the lack of predators, who knew, but it was nicer than the forest. He was taken bit off guard by the mare but didn't say anything to her, she had managed to go unnoticed by him until she spoke because he wasn't used to this amount of life around him, and thus he wasn't really 'tuned' to stay alert to everything.

"Nature without its bad parts, what is there not to like." he said "One can come here unaware of the brutality of nature and rude words of ducks." "What an amusing thought that is, foal unfriendly ducks." he had never thought about things like that, but no he wondered how many animals had cursed ponies out or been generally very rude while the ponies pet them and say how cute they are.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Sheska didn't say anything and just let the nurse to do her thing, trusting her abilities to get it right. She nodded to the doctor after he informed about the estimated timeframe, and nodded again at the latter statement "We'll come back if problems occur." she decided not to bring up her own experience with these things, as bringing it up wouldn't really change anything, only possibly delay them from leaving.

She smiled at the nurse "Thank you, I appreciate the compliment, I'll keep that in mind when I get something to wear at some point." like ponies, they didn't really need clothes, but they had gotten used to wearing them due to wearing armor and camouflage, so they would eventually get something to wear when they figured out the situation they were in. Sheska wasn't really good at getting compliments, partly due to not getting them often, and party because those who did compliment her in the past, usually had ulterior motives.

If there was nothing else, the siblings would be ready to leave.

@Scarlet Rose

Orchid were somewhat baffled as he were grabbed on, and Silicon started to sing a very unfamiliar song to the flower.

"Is sounds like fun, but i am not familiar with this song."

"I am!"

The flower twisted, and got cut in half with a loud snapping sound. From the stem, poured yellow color that painted the road they were wandering, a golden yellow. As well as making it look like the dirt were made of bricks, even if the feel would prove it wasn't.

The discarded top of the plant would morph into a straw pony, that would grab hold of Silicon - who'd suddenly find that she had a dress engulf her from out of nowhere - and Orchid. The later of whom had gotten a splash of grey paint poured over him, that hardened, and made him seem more metallic, as the two were dragged skipping down along the road. A confused timberwolf with a lion pajamas on were also dragged into this, and were awkwardly skipping along with them, but having no idea what were going on, as the rest of the song played out, on their way to Zecora's hut. The real one this time.

"Yeah well, shadow or dark, I still stand by me not hearing or seeing something like that amongst you Equestrians all that much. Sides, I'm not one of the dragons that can do magic, so I haven't studied that sort enough to tell much difference, beyond the color. I'll try and keep this in mind, if we run into one another some other time, eh? Maybe you can show me whatever slick moves that allows you to do then.

But it sounds like you got a whole lot of exploring to do, so hows about you do that, and I'll stay here, and keep Gretha with company? She's older than dust, but she got some interesting things to say anyway."

"Like the time I met this dazzling young dragon, and dragged him by the tail back to my lair. Why, I remember it like it were just a few decades ago. Such a ladies man he were. And so limber. He had this thing he did with-"

"Not like that, not like that! Ew ew ew!"

Dolt would plug his ears the best he could, and look like someone threw a bucket of ice down his spine. He might be jovial, and open-minded about things, but there were limits, and the chuckling Gretha knew it.

"You two try and stay out of trouble, okay? Hope to see you again."

"You as well, Gretha. May Gaea bless you."

The two of them would bow their heads at about the same time after Zeehva said that, with Dolt following soon after, when Gretha used the tip of a claw, to nudge the back of his head a little. He should be polite after all.

If there were nothing else, Zeehva would start to lead them away fromt he docks, and towards the sprawling city, in which thus far, nopony seemed to even bat an eye at them.

"I am able to shift forms using atomic manipulation. Everything in nature is made up of atoms and subatomic particles. As for the ore, I know less on that. What I do know is that it is contained in various rocks at deep pressures and it is radioactive. If you stay too close to it, you die. So there is always a safe process and manner to recover such material. It must be refined and undergo enrichment to up its quality, and then the remaining material can be used in fuel rods. How a nuclear plant works is that you break up the atoms of uranium or Thorium...I managed to snag a few blueprints as to how to build a Nuclear plant and how this stuff works...DO NOT let this get into the wrong hooves or...hands. This stuff is very good for the world but it can be made to develop bombs that can deal massive damage to the ecosystem." Cali warned and pulled out the plans, showing it to him.

"Huh? Did somepony say bombs?"

Blitz's ears vibrated as the word had been whispered, and Molotov quickly looked down on her with a grin on his face.

"We're just talking things blowing up, that really shouldn't. You go back and focus on your chatter, alright sis?"

Soon as Blitz had gotten back to her own talk, Molotov would lean back in to Cali, with a somewhat scared look going over his eyes.

"For the love of Celestia, hide those papers! If she ever saw them, she'd build it. And I'm not letting anything as dangerous as what you're describing, go on Equestrian soil. I'd be dragging my whole heritage through the dirt."

He wasn't sure what *radioactive* meant*, but it sounded lik something that'd cause more harm, than it'd ever be worth. The sort that he personally, would never make, and that he knew Blitz would feel bad about having taken part in too, if she build it. Yet she were also the sort who lived for the thrill of that next, big kaboom, so he feared she might still try and make it, regardless of how it might end. Really, he were doing them all a favor, but not letting her have access to something like this.

"I really appreciate you showing me some really advanced stuff like this, but this here's way too dangerous for our way of life. That sorta invention, sounds like it's only ever made to hurt others, and I don't want that to be our legacy. Equestria's a placeful place, and I'd like for it to stay that way.

Now you saying that you can change shape, by changing your atoms around, that's really impressive. That's just hard science, rather than being run by some degree of magic. Is it a specialized trait or yours, or is it something that you actually got working for ya, via technology? Like, could just about anypony go through the procedure you did, and if so, how bad is it? I'm not asking because I'm wanting to try mind you, I'm just curious."

Not curious enough to allow stuff that would ruin their world though. Which seemingly, seemed to be a hobby of Cali's to collect. He weren't judging. She probably didn't do bad things with them. He just really didn't want anything to do with some of 'em, as the risk were too grand for any result to be worth it, in his opinions.

As for Blitz, it were easy to distract her, when the talk went to something she knew she heard right, that openly interested her. Like the scrapyard. Such a great place that were. That took her full attention away, to a point where she didn't even really notice the pout she were given by Blue. Not that she would have done much about it, if she had. She would've just smiled up at her even harder, to try and change her frown, upside down. Blitz were a very positive filly like that.

"You don't chase ponies at scrapyards silly silly. You look for fun things! Last time I found a big sawblade, that wasn't even rusty! That's a really good treasure, ehehe."

Blitz were... Special. To her, the scrapyard were the same thing as going to a toystore, that had a lot of bins with varied, discounted toys.

Cause in our dimension, they're all over several, if not all, countries. I haven't really been outside of Equestria myself, so I couldn't say how wide spread they are for certain."

Since it sounded like they now all had a plan, then unless there were objections to it, Molotov would start moving out, so they could head towards the scrapyard. Seemed as good a place as any to think on what to do next, right?

Tepe's reply came in quickly without any doubt or hesitation “I've been hearing you and Windy were going to take a ship to a place named Coltagan if my memory serves right”

Windy frowned “Wait a minute you were eavesdropping on us?”

Tepe waved his forelegs at her frantically “What? No, no, no, no I didn't!” he chuckled nervously, “Maybe...” he sheepishly grinned at his companions.

Windy sighed “Nevermind that, but back to the plan. We have to avoid standing out of the crowd wearing too much are on of those. I still agree with Tepe's plans but I think we should dye and 'change' our manes and tails at a spa if this town has one” she wasn't against the zebra's plan, she's just trying to fix the flaws for the plan to work properly.

"Well, let's be fair here Windy. We weren't exactly whispering when we talked about that. It's possible a few were listening in."

Tepe of course had the advantage of not being restricted by walls, but still, it were conceivable that several had heard them talk about where they were going. Which now actually, started to make her a little bit nervous. Who knew if any of those gave word to the gang, who would at that point then likely start to roam the docks, looking for them. Or prepare in the nearby airspace to tackle and drag them in, in case they tried to fly off instead. Troubling thoughts...

"That kind of make me wonder if we shouldn't try and stay real low profile, even when we get there? Just in case somepony told them, and they'd be waiting for us.

Maybe that's being too paranoid, I dunno. And we can try to get to a spa for this sort of treatment. I'm sure they'd be able to doll us up better than we could ourselves. Better than me, anyway. I don't really know how to properly dye my mane, or coat. Never really had a need to consider it.

It's a big town, so there should be at least one, but we have to find out where. Should we ask Cimex? Later, I think. She uhm... Seemed like she needed a bit of time, when she left."

“Do you know the Wonderbolts? Can you tell us if you saw a pegasus wearing blue yellow suit?"

"We know Wonderbolts, yes. Flying ponies, making big shows.

Seen one in town, not long ago. With odd mare. Even stranger than seeing Wonderbolt walking. She had a skull. On necklace. It had glow eyes. These two you look for?"

The skull had really been the weird part, that drew her eyes, when she had seen them speed off not too long ago. Pop had been digging under a garbage pile, where she had seen a shiny, and emerged with a rather nice ring in her paw, and seen the two she had mentioned. They were hard to miss, in her eyes, and very strange for this town. Any place even, as ponies didn't usually wander around with bones of any kind in display. Not real ones at least, and the ones calling themselves goth, used plastic. She could see the difference well, and that one had been real. Odd with the glows though. Very strange.

"They ran that way. Will misstress be happy if you catch them? She said it important you found two special ponies."

She'd point a finger towards the direction of the inn, though there were still quite a margin for error here, as there were a lot of things in that direction. But it were better than nothing, yes?

You'd think needle would have given a description of the ones to look out for, but she had been busy, and mostly focused on if the goons could do their job, so she had sent Pop Rock off to find them instead, and try not to overcomplicate things, by adding two more to look out for. She were still young, and diamond dogs needed some training to keep too many details in mind. And frankly, she figured that there were more important things for her to do, than to do the goons job fully for them. The least they could do, if they needed the help, rather than a tail, were to describe the ones they were looking for. Even a parrot could do that.

Once Rosa turned back to Lin, Sen approached Soul, keeping his composure. “Banshee offered us an invitation to come by some day when there isn’t a carnival happening; maybe we might see each other again in the future. I hope there won’t be hard feelings or mistrust when we next meet.”

"I can't afford to throw trust at just about anypony, but I don't have anything personal against you. I am just stating facts as I know them. It's up to you if they mean anything to your situation."

Soul would give a slight nod in return as Sen said his farewells, and when the longma started to wander off, would go into a corner further away, to be in peace from this group. He didn't want more to do with them right now. Though they may end up meeting him again the next time they came here. It came down a lot to how it went once this famed *grandmother* most of the clan spoke of, returned home, and they had a confrontation. As well as generally work, as he didn't have a ton of free time as it were.

"I don't blame him for that. What he have seen, have given him reason to be fearful of that magic, and how it is used. It will take time and education on the matter, to show him another side of it. Something which I can only think will take a long time, but may well be worth it in the long run. If for nothing else, then to show him that you can approach magic such as this, and still come through both unscathed, and better off, if applied correctly.

It is much like attempting to make friends. It takes the right approach, and then effort to maintain it, without messing something up. The consequences are less severe with friends, but the baseline principle does have some degree of comparison."

He'd try and neglect that making friends, were also an actual study, that really came in handy for spies, as he did not want to throw doubt about how he felt regarding them. Doubly so as they may question whatever or not he had used those studies before to get to some of what he needed, and he'd hate to lie to them. Almost as much as he'd hate to tell them the truth when it came to that particular subject, but not quite as much.

Perhaps he didn’t need to know about that. Guess what’s done is done, right? Sorry if what just happened soured your evening.”

They should have more or less just finished when Sen came over again, followed shortly by Omen, who had assumed this meant they were all gathering up again.

"He would have known sooner or later regardless. He answers solely to General Screecher of the Night Guard, and she is going to be at the trial. I am certain he would have been informed of this in any case, so that if I tried to make my escape, him and his squad could be ready to apprehend me.

As for him personally... I know not anyone who are a fan, but I can understand his position on things at least. Trust can be used, and with him both being a close worker to the general, and a practitioner of dark magic, there are many obvious things that could be used against him, if you find the right angle. Besides, he's not wrong, in what he said about spies. There are much reason to distrust us, and I can't say that I do not deserve distrust on this account either.

I can assure you, that it haven't soured anything. I have come to terms with what is to come, so I don't let myself get weighed down by something like that, with this much ease.

Let us move on to more pleasant subjects regardless though, yes? What might you be interested in doing now? We have taken tours, gotten souvenirs and pictures, as well as eaten several places, to try the local food. And taken in a show. It have been a rich evening, but I assume we can take a few hours more before we need to go back and rest for the trial? If so, is there something either of you, would like to truly try? Even if you don't know if it is here, it never hurts to throw ideas out, and I may be able to answer if any of the things are likely."

@abrony-mouse

It actually wouldn't be the worst to get out of here. If they followed the breeze, they'd find themselves down more halls with scorched walls, though some that had a few more clues to what happened, if it had not already been obvious.

The short of the long, seemed to be that a bunch of deer had met up with large, feline entities. Likely sphinx. There, they had made a deal, but apparently broken it, and had a curse thrown towards them. The leader - that being the large, impressive stag - had then seemingly made the choice, as more of his tribe succumbed to the curse, to mix magic, and funnel all of the individual curses they had, into one, unlucky subject, that had then been sealed in here.

It were impossible to tell if it had been voluntary, but even if it were, it had still been a bad fate, made by what Billowing at least assumed were selfish reasons. He assumed that if the curse did not affect the leader, there would likely not have been much actions. The way it had gone by at least, did not speak of benevolence, considering there had been depictions of dead deer, and the skeletons they had run into spoke much about how time had passed before actions were taken.

In any case, they would eventually find an exit, as they followed the air flow. It were blocked of course, by a thick rock, but said rock had a crack that let out some air, and that were all that Billowing needed. Well, that and time, to be exact, but he'd get that without incident, and they would soon find themselves with a clear opening to the glorious, sun filled forest. Though Billowing were shaking in his knees, and holding a hoof to his head, whilst a few sparks went off his horn.

"Urgh... Dreadful headache..."

The pressure from trying to break the stone had been rather great, and it wasn't all that long after the last one, so it were a bit much for him. But at least they were free. Though two things to worry about behind them: An increasingly large hissing sound, that echoed through the temple, and the steady approach of dark magic, as the cursed deer seemed to be following them.

"I don't mind getting dirty if there is reason for it. I would be a poor bodyguard, had I no interest in getting my talons bloodied up at times, as an example. That being said, I do enjoy being pampered. It feels reinvigorating to go through a preening session, as well as a delight spa treatment. I assure you, that if you ever had a session where you got a full body scale cleansing, massage, and polish, you'd feel as majestic as an elder dragon."

"...He does have a point there."

Leviathan looked away a bit, as she couldn't run from the fact that getting the full treatment - scale cleansing, pedicure, massage, aromatic oils, getting every scale and tooth polished and sharpened etc. etc. - felt amazing. The few times she allowed herself that luxury, she felt like a dream afterwards. It'd probably be more expensive and take more time for Ruby, due to her real size, but she'd feel as pampered as a queen. Wasn't like it were That far from the various dragons who took would be self-proclaimed dragon slayers, and made them into servants for a number of years, in return for not stomping them for their hubris and insolence.

"But I doubt you'd care to hear more of that, nor my riveting time with my enchanting mate to be. You wished to withdraw your belongings, so let us finish that, and I can clean this up afterwards. Though, may I ask if this also means a termination of our profitable arrangement, Ruby? It would be a shame to go, but if you must, I will understand. You seem to have many wo wander with now, that may hold your time in other ways, Such as this little fellow here."

He'd reach a talon out to shake Charir's hand, but as it were close, he got smoke in response, and withdrew it.

"How... Delightful. Shall we proceed then? I am not intending to keep you from your riches. Merely figuring out where we stand, and offer an open invitation for further co-operational work in the future, if you so wish."

He'd lead the way to the vault, and open it up, to show that her riches were still exactly where she left them. Not a coin had been touched, removed, or even polished. They said she'd have her corner in peace, and as were shown, they had kept it. Though in fairness, trying to steal a dragon, tended to be one of the worst mistakes anyone tried. And sometimes the last too.

"Mostly, animals speaks simply, and neutral about others. Pets more often than not, speak in highly affectionate ways of their owners. Though they call them their friends instead. Cats too can at times think of them as their favorite, but will refuse to use the word owner. It goes against their pride.

Bird song, beautiful as it is, tends to be rather... Descriptive, of the things they wish to get done, by attracting a mate. Very blunt animals and at times, taking far too much advantage of the fact that they know ponies only hear quacks, or chirps, instead of true words.

Some animals are more sophisticated though. I find spiders to be very poetic creatures."

She put a hoof down, and a spider wandered from a nearby bench and up her leg, where it would nestle in the safety of her mane. Free from the roaming birds, that may otherwise have tried to eat it.

"Animals are not uncaring things, without personalities. They are their own beings, even if they are more simplistic in nature than you or I. At times, I find this simplicity to make them wiser than most of us. We sometimes overthink things, that can be boiled down to simple issues and solutions, in their minds.

If you want to know the words of the animals, you can just ask me, and I will tell you. Though I may leave out their more... Crude phrasing, if it were."

With that, she'd rise up proper, and begin wandering slowly around on the path, observing the varied ponies and their families, as well as animals, going about on their routines. Seemed such a nice, peaceful place. Like Scarecrow had said: Nature without its bad parts.

"Yes yes, but that hardly seems an issue for our profession, does it?"

"Oh uh... Sorry doctor. I got a little carried away."

The nurse were a bit embarassed by being called out, but she didn't stay down for long. Had to focus on the bright things, or life could go get really glum sometimes, and the patients needed to see a ray of sunshine, over a rainy cloud.

As this were all done, the doctor would fill out the last papers, and then, the pair would leave. Sheska and her brother would be officially written out, and were now free to leave at their leisure. As long as it were within the next hour, as they'd like to prepare the room for other patients then, in case it were needed. Had to prepare the rooms in case some sort of major accident happened again.

So with them gone, it would just be the three of them. And as she were a queen, and used to a position of power, Onache would take control.

"Let us proceed outside. We can decide where to go from there then, depending on what catches your eyes. I can imagine after having been in your dismal world, and then in my desert, you have some interest in seeing what the area you will be residing in or near, looks like, yes?"

Windy let out a comical sweatdrop. For a mare who successfully achieves her dreams it would be embarrassing it takes a friend to finally know you were actually talking out loud despite the topic shouldn't be heard by the general public. Oh no, what will Spitfire say to her once the word reached her

Slowy, I heard you're spending time with some medium. I didn't know you were on to horror and supernatural stuff. What would fans say? The Wonderbolts are actually a group of horror geeks!”

‘No, no, Spitfire would never say that’ She was panicking over her role as an acrobat and also the fact they are still being searched by a gang who wants to take them to Celestia knows where. Maybe a torture chamber? ‘No, no, no, anything but that!’

“W-Why would somepony tell a group of creeps where we are?” she spoke in a very nervous tone, “Yeah, we should ask Cimex later. I think she's out doing her job at her bar.

* * *

The group listened carefully to the description starting with the Wonderbolt to the odd skull of her companion 'its them' they thought, smiles appearing in their faces. what has been a flicker of hope turned into a huge blaze.

“Thanks for telling us, perhaps you're here to help us take our targets to our 'Mistress' Needle” she offered. Extra help can be good too but she thought they're in numbers to take two ponies for one evil doctor Needle.

Luna and Blue's eyes widened at the thought of a foal taking hold of a very dangerous item in a scrapyard. Where was Molotov when he's needed? A filly like her can be prone to harming herself.

“A sawblade huh? Such a very... interesting treasure if you ask me” Blue let out a chuckle, turning to Luna, “Right Luna?”

“Yes...” Luna was unsure whether she should up their facade or openly telling Blitz how dangerous her hobby is to her and to others.

1 hour ago, Blitz Boom said:

Fuchsia is barely cognisant of her surroundings as she gallops, adrenaline filled, upwards, hoping to escape the temple and fight the snakes or flee in open ground. As for the cursed being behind her she was in agreement with the screaming danger in her mind which commanded her psychologically to escape and recoup. Later she would barely recall this flight from the temple - saying it all seemed a blur. The reality is that so little blood was in her head compared to in her haunches that it is a wonder she was conscious :P Her earth pony muscles seemed imbued with an almost magical strength however and the three smiling suns on her flank glowed quietly in the dark - conveying good fortune on her travels.

Eventually they found the rock blocking them and Fuchsia helplessly beat her hooves against it - like an animal. Billowing obligingly released them all and Fuchsia dived onto the earth and galloped madly into the forest before gaining her wits again and doubling back to help the drained Billowing.  Her heightened senses pick up the hissing around her and she returns to fight/flight mode and will gallop - much faster over the open ground - and will help Billowing to travel with her - avoiding ankle-breaking trenches, patches of dense forest and other impediments instinctively, using her talent.

Silicon giggles and would continue to sing, following the now yellow path, hoping that it would lead to Zecora's, but if not, well, at least it would be an interesting story to tell by the campfire.  She looks to Orchid "Come on Orchid, it's pretty easy, just follow along with us" she'd say., then noticing the dress "Ooh, a little oldtimey for me, but it's still nice"

Sen wouldn’t dwell on the conversation with Soul or his perceived aftermath. No one else but the longma seemed fazed by what had transpired, and in some way, it got him to think that it was probably just his gut telling him something felt off. It wasn’t always right, and he was rather grateful that the conversation didn’t get to either Rosa or Soul. Getting his mind off that might just do the trick.

“Sounds good. I could do with another distraction, but um… I’m not even sure what to do now.”

“My brother’s right. We’re new to these kinds of places, and I’ve already ticked off the things I wanted to do. Unless there is something interesting in a corner of the carnival we haven’t been to yet…”

“What? You mean sneaking somewhere we’re not supposed to go? Where would that be?”

“I dunno? I didn't say we should do something illegal. What about you, Omen? Anything caught your interest?”

Sen placed a claw over his face in disbelief. He honestly had no idea where the conversation was going, but jumping into an awkward conclusion such as that was the last thing he thought would come out of his mouth. Still, Rosa did suggest throwing ideas and seeing what could likely be on the carnival grounds. If it could be imagined, there was a chance it could be on site. As for Lin, she turned to Omen and wondered if she might have found something the siblings overlooked.

“Well, Rosa, I suppose we can have a look around the carnival and see what the visitors are playing. I heard there’s a game where you toss balls into holes of different sizes, and your score was based on the points given to each hole. That, or there was one that you toss little balls into empty fish bowls. What about those large, mechanical things that can sit many visitors? Do carnivals normally have those?”

Admittedly, the longma were curious about this, and Lin couldn’t help but think about what that could be. They’ve heard of those things here and there, but were never quite sure what to make of them. Even the details didn’t seem to add up. Some say the machines swung the riders like a pendulum, and others say the riders were launched into the air at high speed. That one sounded terrifying, even just thinking about already made the longma quite queasy.

Light would just listen to their chat, while cleaning up.

Light was now not worried on what Cali is up to. knowing that Molotov, even though known for his weirdness, is a very disciplined person and wont fall for Cali's weird schemes of trying to contaminate this dimension.

and as for Blitz, he sees no danger from her. She is just an innocent child... who can easily destroy their dimension. She just needs.... Guidance.

Ruby didn't say anything regarding it, but she disagreed with Marley and Leviathan on how such treatment would feel like, and it wasn't even for pride or money related reasons, but instead a physical one. She didn't doubt that these two enjoyed it, but she was bit more complicated, firstly, her scales had barely any feeling in them, they being her armor that's whole purpose was to take damage, and second, her scales were so thick that any type of real massage was pretty much impossible, it would be like trying to massage someone while they are in a full-body metal armor.

"This is not a termination of our relationship, you can tell as much to Spicy too, and if there's any business you feel my help would be appreciated in, you can feel free to seek me out." "There just has been...events that have taken place, that I need a moment to ponder over in peace, and I don't feel comfortable leaving part of my belongings to lay around somewhere else for that moment." "This moment of thought will also serve our future dealings in positive way, as the events have caused me to be...distracted, which could do a disservice to my performance."

As they followed Marley, she continued "Also, don't mind Charir, he doesn't understand a word we say and isn't familiar with the ways of civilization, so he is a bit.... traditional, when it comes to his species."

She would proceed to remove the spells from her treasure when they got in the vault, and after she was done she asked from Marley "One thing more, where may be the closets place from where i could get a cheap cart or wagon to help to move these." she would have asked Marley but she didn't know if he had something else to do, and thus didn't ask directly, knowing he would certainly offer himself if he saw it as an option.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I prefer to keep my knowledge on chirps and quacks." Scarecrow said with slight amusement in his voice "To me it is enough to know if they see me as a threat or not, and that tends to be rather obvious." he explained as he followed Lyriel "Only time I truly wondered what may be going on in creature's head was when the scavengers left me alone, what thought causes a worm to leave its apple, duck to refuse bread, pony to throw a full plate of food away, or a scavenger to abandon a carcass."  as he spoke and walked, he also listened in the conversations going on around them "There's beings of many levels of intelligence, they all are different, yet they are also all the same, even those outside the usual share many things with everything else"

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The siblings had no reason to hang around, so they would be ready to leave right away, at most they would finish a glass of water that may have been left unfinished. "Not only the area, but the whole place, we still have only words about its greatness, and it's time to see how true they are." Trox said as they would make their way out of the room "a desert? what was that like." Sheska asked from her brother "Couldn't tell you, wouldn't have know I was there if she didn't mention it." he had only seen a sun from a window, that was his experience of this desert awake, so he had no idea how it actually was.

The hospital itself didn't get much attention from the kobolds, it was a hospital, sure it was lot less advanced than what they were used to, but some things never changed regardless of how technologically advanced they got. The outside in other hand was what caught their eyes, or well, blinded them with its literal glow, as the direct sunlight took them by surprise, sure they had gotten used to light in the hospital by now, but the sun itself was quite a lot brighter than anything in a building. "That thing certainly is bright, can you imagine sleeping in this light." Sheska commented, covering her eyes from the light "And warm, no wonder most of us ended up in the Night-Realm, I can feel my scales drying up." Trox added, he didn't know, as he hadn't experienced it before, that this wasn't really a bad thing, rather it was just his body protecting itself from drying up further by pulling the moisture deeper.

"If we're going to stay here for a time, we should probably find an inn, and rent a room for a few days. It should give us enough time to look around, and get through some of the important things we'd want to do. Then later, we can go to Canterlot, and think over things more, yes? I'm not exactly sure how long we should stay, but it's a start plan. We can sort of adjust after that."

Bits to pay for this shouldn't be an issue, as she had quite enough with her for them to do well, long as they didn't waste it on overly expensive things. Selling her magical potions were frankly profitable. As were the more general, zebra ones, which she also made and sold, to ensure she had finances for her travels. It helped get food on the table, and reminded her of better times, with equines whom she had gained hard earned respect from.

The good thoughts only barely grazed her mind though, as not long after she had spoken her first words, Magnolia seemed to be having a stressful, hard thing roaming inside of her, that she wanted to share. Something that deeply troubled her it seemed.

"Y-Yes, of course, I'm listening. Just uhm... O-Over here, yes."

She'd half-drag Magnolia with her, over to a large section of crates, stacked in a way that left a bit of room between them and the wall, to make for a sort of alley-way, where they might speak in peace. The crates were all marked as being sold by something called the Quartz Construction Company, so they were not gonna randomly just fall. Likely far too weighed down with bricks and other building materials for that.

"Okay, I think uhm... I t-think we're alone here then. What is you wanted to say? I promise, I won't speak a word of it to anyone else, so don't be afraid to share it. It seems like it's weighing on you. Maybe?"

There were of course other matters at hoof here, but Sorrow considered Windy to be a friend, and as such, did not like to see her like that. Made her think that something horrible had entered her mind, and she needed help to get her thoughts away from it.

"We'll get to Cimex later, when she comes by next time, but if you had something horrible enter your mind, we should address that. Whatever it were, didn't seem nice."

The runt nodded enthusiastically, and openly wagged her tail, as it became apparent that she were indeed helping, as well as appreciated. Not something that were seen as proper by the general population of them, but she had a skewed view on these sorts of traditions, due to her position in life, so Pop didn't try to hide those urges, lest she were asked to by Needle.

"Mistress said to keep an eye on you. But mistress also say important that special ponies were found. I help, you maybe find them, and mistress will be happy.

Many places they could go that way though. Maybe the inn? Ponies like that place. It has beds, and food, so maybe where they try to hide?"

She had a bed too, technically. Even if she spend most of her time out here, Needle did have an entrance in her house for the pup to go in, and a modest guest room readied for her. Pop were one of the few creatures she actively cared about to a certain extend, so Needle made sure that she had the necessities. As well as ensuring that bad things happened to those who actively harmed her. The things that could *accidentally* be swapped for a routine flu shot were expansive, and easily hidden behind a clerical error. As an example.

@abrony-mouse

With help from Fuchsia, they'd be able to get along at a staggered pace, and not a moment too soon either. They had barely been able to cross into the forest, before the hissing would grow ever louder, and a massive snake would emerge from a hole in the temple, not far away from where they had exited. It would move its massive head around from side to side, and taste the air with hisses and seemingly purpose. It were chasing something, and more than likely, that something, were them. Though as they had gotten far enough away, they would not be spotted, and it would slither back into its underground domicile once more. Annoyed, but ultimately, not going out to chase them for some reason.

Running away, they could eventually make their way to the camp if they turned a few times. Billowing would at that point, feel a little better, and frantically begin packing up everything, while using as little magic as possible, as it hurt to do so currently. Like a passing toothache, but in his horn.

"This have turned troubling indeed. We have to report this to the proper authorities, that can send out proper specialists for this kind of matter. We may have accidentally caused some degree of trouble here. Potentially on a large scale."

And it wasn't over yet, as within five minutes, a certain something started to chime again. Both literally and figuratively, the two of them, were not out of the woods.

=======================================================================

@Scarlet Rose

Orchid would follow along best he could, though he didn't know the song, so he just did the dance and skip, as they wandered down the road. At the end of the song, they'd find themselves at the end of this makeshift golden road, not more than three meters from Zecora's hut. And as everything faded away again, and the forest returned to normal - as well as the timberwolf found it was able to run away again quickly, before it got dragged into more weirdness - a pinecone fell down a nearby tree, and sat dangling in thick spider web in their head height. On it, were the same face they had seen on the flower, smiling and joyful.

"Hehehe, that was excellent! Good showing. Keep the clothes as a souvenir if you want. They're perfectly boring and normal. Hehe. See you another time."

The pinecone exploded in glitter, and the draconequus left. For now anyway.

=================================================================

@EQ_Theta

"I doubt the mechanical ride is to be found here, considering it takes quite a bit of space to set up, and that may well go against the natural way of this forest. The other games take less space though, and I could believe they were here somewhere. It is just a matter of finding out where that may be. It could well be fun. If you'll excuse me, I will ask around. Please stay here."

Rosa would wander into the crowd, and look around for any thestral, Macabre clan member, or a combination thereof, as they would be local, and therefor know better.

In the meantime, Omen would sit back with the question she had been asked, and tilt her head slowly from side to side, as the question roamed around her skull. She were still getting used to making her own decisions, and having valued input like this, instead of being directed, so she needed a little time.

"Nothing that makes me hit things. Mother will not allow it. The ball thing. It sounds good, yes?"

She'd look between Sen and Lin, while Shrimp were nibbling playfully on her ear.

"You two are strong, yes? You and Rosa, try the thing with the hammer, and the bell? I heard others speak of that. They said it sounded fun."

"It should be in the same area, actually."

Rosa returned almost as quickly as he had left. Seemed like he had gotten a quick answer. As well as some sort of glitter thrown into his face, as about a third of it looked like somepony had splattered sticky glitter over him from a cup of some sort.

"A clown informed me of where to find the games, as well as me being somewhat incorrect, when it came to rides. They have some of them, in a larger clearing, further in. Nothing like a roller coaster, but there are a few things that there are room for."

He'd talk unfazed, as if he pretended like he weren't looking rather silly right now. Which did not get better, when Omen would step closer, and use her long tongue to lick his cheek, and return some of the pink/orange glitter to her muzzle. He'd let it fly the first time, but after the third, Rosa would let out a somewhat defeated sigh, and look questioning at Sen and Lin.

"You ever get the feeling there is nothing more you can realistically try, that will surprise you? I used to."

I hope that whatever it may be that troubles you, will settle soon, and you will receive peace of mind. I would ask what it were, but I get the distinct feeling that I would either not get a truthful answer, or you will threaten me with harm for snooping."

"Or I could just freeze your beak again."

"Ah yes, the classics. How novel of you. I'll refrain from asking too much. Including how you are travelling with a dragon who does not understand the common tongue. I could venture a guess that he is not a local dragon variant though."

He assumed honestly, that this were a relative of Ruby's but did not wish to risk things by going too far into that. Saying he assumed he might be from another place than the Dragon Isle's though, seemed safe. Leviathan certainly didn't care, and just shrugged at him, as they wandered through the opulent house.

If you could entertain yourself for a half hour or so, so that I could clean up after the mess I left earlier, I could accompany you with one, until we reach Ponyville. There are certain contracts to collect upon in that town as it is regardless. As well as generally good opportunities. Ponies in need do so love to borrow bits."

"...You're a loan shark?"

"Legally speaking, my boss is a money lender."

Leviathan rolled her eyes. Go figure this were the sort the bird and his master turned out to be. Still, useful in a way, and loaded, judging by just what were in here, though her eyes were not so much on the gold, as the corner that seemed to have a few things like a teddy bear, and an old deck of cards. Worthless items, put in a vault? Smelled like personal worth to her, and that were just the sort she liked.

@Catpone Cerberus

"It varies what goes through a creatures mind in those cases. Though, some that I have encountered, I can share about. Just beware that this does not cover all situations. Only those instances of them that I have personally seen.

Worms work not on thought, but simple instinct. They tend to leave their apples when they feel they have taken all they can from there. Sometimes, they seek down though, if there are predators chasing them, such as birds.

As for ducks, I find some of them can be picky, and have little interest in whatever bread is offered them. Or it is too dry. This is why it is best to feed it to them, by throwing it in the pond, rather than on the ground. They are not pigeons. Thankfully.

Ponies I cannot say, as reasons can be plentiful, and I am still new to observing their kind. Though leaving a carcass I know depend on many things. Sometimes I see it is because the scavenger have taken what they want from it. Other times, it is simply too rotten to be palatable. And of course, there is thinking, or knowing, that there are bigger predators than you who want the corpse, and know that fighting over it, would be very unwise.

Nature is a complex thing my friend, but I find that in its flaws, lies its majesty. It is not simple and straight forward. There are layers, and complexity to life, that holds such beauty, if you know how to stop up, and admire it in full."

As they rounded a corner, they'd be able to see a flock of parents and foals, who had lined up on a stretch of grass, and played with a ball. Softly kicking it between one another, and laughing away, without a care in the world. Considering how dangerous this town could be, Lyriel sometimes found it worrying how happy the ponies seemed here. Yet witnessing such joy, just made her smile, and not worry so much about the reason behind it.

It is a barren place of sand, with only my oasis within, too provide water and shade. It reminds me of home, before I came to Equestria. Just without the need for migration."

They would probably have to be shown in more details how that area were, sooner or later, but all in due time. For now, they would wander out of the hospital, with no one trying to impede their exit. They got looks certainly, but they were not even approached. And not because of magic. This were simply them giving the oddities some space to exit the hospital, and enter the sunlight streets of Ponyville. The town that had questionable reasons for existing, considering all the various dangers this place had attracted over the years.

"Most waits to sleep until night falls, and it is dark. As for it drying you out, I can imagine you will need a graze period, where you get accustomed to it. I suppose until then, we must look into an alternative that will help you out here."

She gazed around herself, and noted a large piece of cardboard, that were laying over near the side of the building. It seemed to have been left for the trash, so in her mind, there were no issue with using it.

So with her horn, she floated it over, and cut it down the middle. Then, she'd have them folded into shallow, wide cones, and hang the two makeshift parasol heads over the kobolds. It were not the prettiest, but considering the materials, she had done quite well in her opinion, and it should help on dealing with the worst of the light.

"You're welcome. Now if you have issues with your scales drying, might I suggest you first go to a lake, or other water supply, and moisturize before we proceed? Or will the dryness not impede you in any meaningful way?"

Cali would quickly hide the papers away and they vanished with a red flash. She'd smirk somewhat. "I see you are confused on the word radioactive. It is the process by which an unstable atomic nucleus loses energy by radiation. A material containing unstable nuclei is considered radioactive. Three of the most common types of decay are alpha decay, beta decay, and gamma decay, all of which involve emitting one or more particles or photons. The weak force is the mechanism that is responsible for beta decay, while the other two are governed by the usual electromagnetic and strong forces. Radioactive particles and objects are dangerous. Standing near them will result in your life being shortened by a number of years, or worse you will get cancer or die shortly after exposure. If an area is contaminated with radioactive particles to a certain point, life will not grow again in that area for millions of years." she'd tell him that in a somewhat hushed manner since she considered that still dangerous information.

Molotov would cringe at this, and clearly not being a fan of anything that he just heard. Sure his family liked making bombs, and blowing stuff up, but polluting on such a massive scale? For millions of years? What kind of crazed lunatic had created something like that?

"That... That's nothing like what we'd been talking about. I thought you meant like, wave energy. If anyone in Center Zero had put this up, we would've burned the papers, and kept their research under tight observation for decades. That sort of technology can Never be allowed in Equestria, or we'd all be doomed. It's so easy to exploit, to hurt so many, many beings, and that lifetime... Whoever in your world made that, were both a genius, and an actual supervillain."

"As for how I am able to change, it is atomic magic. I can control my atomic structure at will using magic. Anyone can go through with it if they learn, but I cannot change the atomic structures of things I have not summoned, or things that aren't my body. It is not technological, nobody from my world has it. I got it because I absorbed an unknown energy from a red gem, and that energy combined itself with my consciousness and electrical impulses within my body." she'd pull out a red gem that was perfect in condition. "I have no idea where it came from or who made it, but I found it at the bottom of a lake and that is how I got my power."

Now this? This was much better. Nothing earth shattering or crazy, that could ruin the world for longer than the entirety of the Equine race had been alive. Just crazy coincidence mishap, from some sort of magical stone, or gem.

The lenses on Molotov's eyewear were running nonstop as he examined the stone from a few angles, as well as depths, to see if he could spot something of interest from it. Cause fascinating it certainly were, that much were certain, considering what it had done.

"Hmhm... Such a strange composition it have. I can barely get any good read on it, but I could almost swear it looks like it have some degree of storage space within it... Have you considered it may have been some degree of life form, that you absorbed? Since you say there's no magic in your dimension, it have to have been something natural, right? Potentially from either an ancient time, or fallen from space. If that were, then theoretically, it should be possible in a sense, that you either absorbed a life form, or it somehow may have infected you, in a sense. A symbiotic entity of some kind? Did you experience major change in personality, after you had your encounter?"

“A sawblade huh? Such a very... interesting treasure if you ask me” Blue let out a chuckle, turning to Luna, “Right Luna?”

“Yes...” Luna was unsure whether she should up their facade or openly telling Blitz how dangerous her hobby is to her and to others.

Cali would follow them off to the scrapyard. "I guess we are going to have fun at a scrapyard? You ponies better not cut yourselves on the metal. You will get sick if that is the case."

"You should've seen her when she found the sawblade. We were wandering through the scrapyard, showing Felicia around, when suddenly she dives in, and comes out with it. Saw a glimmer, and just knew it was a good find. And she handled it like pro too. Didn't even get a little cut or anything. Mighty proud of my sis, I tell ya."

He'd pat Blitz's head, who'd still be beaming up towards the varied beings they were with. At this point, if they didn't get that the Boom family were a little... Special, they would likely never get it. And these two at least, seemed to still be alive and well.

"I used it to cut some new shapes for a heart shaped grenade. It looks really pretty, and is full of mint glitter! It smells nice and fresh, with lot's of spread."

"We still need to test it, but it should do so, and pretty much safely. Y'know, long as some twonk doesn't hold it in their hooves."

This would be the last they could cover, before they exited the food place, and got on their way down the street, towards the scrapyard.
