movies/tv Movies you like but others hate

I thought since we have a topic for games, we could for this one. Not sure if it's already a topic though. D:

 

Anyway, what are some movies you like but you find others hating?

 

For me, it would be Frozen. I notice Frozen has picked up a lot of haters, but I actually love this movie because I can relate to Elsa a lot. <3 She's my most favorite character of all.

Hmmm...I did enjoy more of The Last Airbender than most people, but that's because I took it as a brand-new installment in the franchise, and not so much canon-driven. Granted, I couldn't take Iroh seriously because he was played by the dude on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, but overall, it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be.

Because the movie is popular, which gives people a shallow reason to hate it, much like anything that becomes successful and liked

 

Anyway I liked the Star Wars Prequels, or at least Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith(which is actually my favorite Star Wars movie) and Indy 4 Crystal Skull

Two immediately come to mind.  Nacho Libre, which is a ton of really dumb humor, and Water World.  It's really entertaining!  It's not a good movie, but definitely fun.  It just happened to be one of the biggest, high budgeted disappointments in cinematic history.

I thought The Star Wars Prequels were cool. The fight scenes were awesome and the areas looked cool, even though all that awesome flipping and Flynning really makes it clear how less-cool the fight scenes were in the older Star Wars films.

Halloween 2 was weird (I think you're talking about the Rob Zombie in it), and it had Weird Al in it. Now, I am a hardcore weird al fan, but this, this was a bit crazy.

Amazing Spiderman 2 - May have been kinda dumb, but I was entertained

Avatar - Plot was simple and a little ham fisted, but still effective.

 

Somebody said Napoleon Dynamite was hated. That's news to me, but just in case i wanted to say how much I adore that movie. It's influenced me in so many weird ways.

 

Indianan Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - the worst Indiana Jones for sure, but I thought it was okay.

Tron (the original) - This movie is so goofy. It's objectively pretty bad, but I can't help but love it

   My Little Pony Equestria Girls, yes I know, this movie has been reviewed and analysed, praised and denounced, but I don't care, I love this movie, it was instrumental in making me a brony, yes, this movie so entranced me, I felt compelled to join the herd, it was funny and heartfelt, and the human animation was really damn impressive, furthermore I loved the music in this movie. Although, this movie has its share of mistakes, in story and narrative structure, it was still sublimely put together, while Equestria Girls has its haters, I am among those who enjoyed this movie, and will enjoy this movie with its sequel.
