I'd be fine if everyone knew, I genuinely don't care. I'm just to lazy to actually bother telling people. I just let them figure it out.

I'm not very open to the fact that I'm a brony. You would never expect me to be one if you went to my school. I mean, sometimes I want to tell my friends but I'm not sure how they'll react. Especially my best friend who I've been friends with for half my life. He absolutely doesn't like MLP.

Oh big time, I wish I could put up stuff about it... I mean I'm not as closet brony as some people but for some of my friends who I worry how they will receive me I zip my lip, and my family has no clue that I'm a brony...

-I still experience this. My background on my phone is Vinyl Scratch. Though it is not a big deal, what I would do is turn my phone on to where my background is seen clearly, act like im not paying attention, then angle it toward someone I trust to know, hoping they would notice and ask, "Are you a brony?"

Me too!!! I want to put up some Vinyl wallpapers on my gaming gear and phone but I get like, terrified someone will see it :(

I'm not a closet brony, and figure anypony who's not okay with me liking a show about pastel ponies, even though my liking it has no bearing on their life, really isn't worth my time.

That said, I'm also not the sort of guy to walk around in a "20% COOLER" shirt. Currently, my only tell is the note in my "bio" sections of sites, like twitch and youtube, as well as my wallpapers, on both PC and phone.

I want to be able to talk about ponies more with my friends, they don't hide their interests at all but it's still kind of weird and awkward to talk about, but I love talking about them.  Even talking about MLP with one of my friends who is a brony is awkward to me so I only bring it up every once in a while.  I set my profile picture as a pony in a group chat I'm in and no one said anything bad about it, one of my friends said it was cute  :P

This is my profile picture

My family found out I'm a brony but never talks about it, I don't know how I feel about talking to them about it though.

I don't let it be known unless someone starts talking about MLP, whether it be good or bad. I won't flat out say I am a Brony, but I would defend the show and the fandom if it's a bad conversation. If it is a good conversation, I will only say I am a Brony if they do first.

I made an OC! I'm always looking for feedback on her, please have a look and tell me what you think! ^^

When it comes to work, there's a few people who know I like MLP, but for the most part I keep this on the down low. No good can come from me openly talking about my love for a little girl's show. Fighting ignorance of that scale and magnitude is impossible.

Well, my brother and I are of an age where our kids could be anywhere from newborn, to their early 20's, so it's not really a big deal when we go out to buy merch.

However, by bro does get semi-harrassed, a bit, sometimes, whenever he goes to a Hot Topic, but we think that has more to do with how he dresses; kinda like a business-man (Slacks or Jeans with a solid-color dress-shirt), but without the coat or tie.

Don't misunderstand; the store-staff is very cool. it's random customers (under 20 yrs old) that try to give him a hard time, sometimes. :derp:

I've had moments, but know that I'm not a bit ashamed of loving ponies. However, there are times in life where I believe it would be for the better not to let it be known. ^^

I know the feeling. Everyone seems to hate bronies, wether it's calling the show "f****** stupid", to making up little jingles.

My friend once started belting out the words "MY LITTLE PONY, FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC!" to the tune of the beginning of the theme song in the middle of art class.

Nothing is impossible. You're just doing it wrong.

Remember kids, it's not illegal if you don't get caught.

It's one of those feelings when you want to be the brony guy, but yet you don't want to be known. It's confusing, really.

War. War never changes.
The Romans waged war to gather slaves and wealth.
Spain built an empire from its lust for gold and territory.
Hitler shaped a battered Germany into an economic superpower.
But war never changes.

Well, it's kinda important for me..

I have that thing called Asperger Syndrome.

That's mostly just that I have problems with social things.

+ I care a lot, and I mean A LOT. what people think about me, it's the worse.  :(

But if I have really, really good friends, then I'm not afraid to tell them, if I can trust them, of course.  :)

But seriously, the people in my class are so dumb. I draw cartoons, MLP:FiM and anime and Youtubers.

And the only thing they see is ''It's a horse, weird cartoon drawing, is that Pokémon, and IS THAT YOUR BOYFRIEND OMFG''.

It's getting on my nerves..  >_>

But someday, I'll tell the world ''I'm a Brony, and I'm proud of it!'', and if they don't know what 'Brony' is,

YOU HAVE GOOGLE SEARCH IT UP IDIOTS.  ;)

Assassin, you work in the dark to serve the light. For now remain anonymous in the shadows, until it's time to strike.

All AC talks aside, maybe do a speech about or a project on it if the school gives you the chance?

Should attract more potential Assassins to join the brotherhood, or Templars for you to assassinate. :P

I'm sure many of you closet bronies attempting to become open bronies, as well as other open bronies, have felt this before. Have you ever felt like you wanted some people to know that you are a brony and at the same time you don't?

-I still experience this. My background on my phone is Vinyl Scratch. Though it is not a big deal, what I would do is turn my phone on to where my background is seen clearly, act like im not paying attention, then angle it toward someone I trust to know, hoping they would notice and ask, "Are you a brony?"

-I also have a youtube channel that is pretty taken over by the fact that I am a brony. So when people find my youtube channel link, I tell them, "Don't click it, you don't want to." So they'll get curious and actually click it.

So do you ever feel like you don't/do want people to know you are a brony?

My stance on it is this:

I just like a television show.

I'm not a homosexual that wants to come out to conservative parents.

If television shows come up in conversation I say that I like it, if it is appropriate to the conversation, if they don't come up I don't mention it. Like with every other show I like.

It probably helps that I don't take the term brony for myself.
